HOW I KNOW CRYPTO! (A TOTAL BEGINNER EXPERIENCE)

Disclaimer: I did this post as a starting point to give myself an encourage to learn more and be active in the forum.

This topic might sound unimportant for most of y'all and none of you should give a care to it, but I would like to share something that came to my mind recently.

I literally started to join this community around November last year, I knew this forum from one of my friend.

At first, I was totally have zero interest in crypto, even I didn't really care with any topic related to Bitcoin. I was like swimming in my own flow without regardless anything around me. I was busy looking for some other passions

That changed during the time of Covid-19 Pandemic, I was really short of money and struggled with my college. Since I lived in a third world country and studying in a not really great University, I don't really have many choice of freelance works.
But in the time of needs and under pressure, human being was known to do something unusual to get out of that situation.
 
It might sounds naive, but I realized that passion is not something that just happened since we were born or developed by itself during our life.
I mean I have heard that kind of phrase many times and I understood it well, but I just experienced it at this level.

I'm looking forward to be part of this forum, but I'm kind anxious and worry about what should I write, whether my writing will be good/bad and be right/wrong.
You know, somehow people with more knowledge could be very fierce.

Feel free to share our very first experience of how you develop your interest in Crypto.

You should write what you need to know about or you should what you know about some asked in the forum. That’s how a forum works. If your purpose is not this, then I think you are not going to be active here.

Thanks for your reply, that could help me to get my purpose straight. I've spent my time in the past few weeks just by reading, and have some questions in my mind, I'll try to put them at the right board later.

If this is an incentive for you, then I just like you accidentally found out about cryptocurrency but did not attach much importance to bitcoin then. And that was 2010. I have been working on the Internet for a long time but became a Bitcoin fan just a few years ago. You can understand my regrets that too many opportunities have been missed by me. I read that you are young, you have everything ahead of you. Don't give up, you are on the right track today.
Don't think about the profit that should come in one moment. Think about studying the forum. Don't waste your precious time on empty rewards. Believe in bitcoin, study it. Ask, do not try to be more experienced than you are, just ask about what you do not understand, and everything will come in due time.

so we can share first experience here i started to know bitcoin on 2014 there's my friend play bitcoin gamble next to me when i do homework, and i just curious about that  and ask and he tell me little piece about bitcoin and i become more interested and then i started to doing faucet and work like a month to get 10$  and i know about HYIP and Ponzi scheme start investing on it just hope double my earning and poof some of it pay me back some of it gone.  not just that i got phising email and my hardwork from faucet just gone  damn im so fool and i started to recover and then this forum become my playground i started to translate some new coin to get paid till i get Hero Member rank  and this account got hacked on 2016/2017 from here i try to forget bitcoin  till 2020 there's someone in indonesian forum tell way to recover and Covid 19 hit i got reduction of employee till this date  and here we are and yep i missed two bitcoin boom on 2017 and 2021  but thats fine at least i can still make couple dollar fortunately i live in indonesia so 1$ you can do eat for one time  for you guys out there have same story please never give up and keep it up even tho only couple dollar

Thats inevitable that someone might correct your wrong statement. But don't worry that's pretty normal and everyone here will understand since you are a newbie. Also if you think you can't produce a good discussion topic and you english is bad as you assumed. Then go to your local boards, there you can talk in the forum using your native language. It's not prohibited to talk on global boards but you should make sure that you can be understand by most members.

 In anycase broken English can be fixed as you practiced. Not a good English poster too but somehow I am able to construct some.

I like that. That is happening to many people who want to get out of the situation. That is not naive, but that is the truth.
Yes, we need to struggle to have a better life in the future.
I am sure you are not too late to start because we have many chances to search for what we want.

Crypto is abstract in a way but, even abstract things could be understood after prolonged interaction. My journey here was also by a friend and my desire to test new shores especially one that is a paying one is a fun thing to do.

Feel free to read all of the informative threads right here in our forum again the aim of this forum is to share experience, knowledge and set a goal always give helpful threads. Before I'm just watching an advertisement about YouTube and a friend of mine encourage me to invest in it and that's a good thing because my country supporting the use of cryptocurrency and I come up to this forum. Now I earned and learned a lot of information I need to make a starting point towards earning also I share those learnings too.

Another topic created by a newbie just to earn some Merits. In my opinion this topic should not be part of this thread as no one wants to listen how you reached this forum. If every newbie starts writing such topics this thread will become spam.

I would recommend OP to create topics that would help others with the current situation. For example a topic on how to reduce  Bitcoin transaction fee without getting the Bitcoin transaction would be helpful or about Ethereum high gas fee, on how to avoid it.

Create topics on the current problems or situation rather about yourself.

There are some previous discussions about how they found out this community and learn as the time goes on by being active and joining discussions thread by thread. We all should read and learn for us to achieve what we want to achieve just like your passion on what you live doing. Some wants to help by posting threads that everyone can benefit and not just for himself/herself.

Almost everybody here was ever a newbie in this forum and we can learn many things during the time. This is not too late to always know new things if we want to learn more and dive deeper, like here.
Just set aside a little of your time to read the various information on this forum, especially on this Beginner & Help board. You can find out how you should be in this forum, rules & regulations, as well as various other important information. And sometimes you will get various input in the future. Note that input is sometimes in the language of harsh criticism or gentle suggestion. But look at the bottom line.

I became interested on bitcoin when I found a faucet because I want to buy something in a certain game and I thought that it is a free money.

Then I ended up searching about what is bitcoin, what is this digital currency or cryptocurrency that I'm rooting for.

In short, I found bitcoin accidentally due to the urge of looking for hacks where I can buy coins in a certain game. I'm glad that right now, I'm benefiting bitcoin and making it grow and as time passes by, I become more enlightened and knowledgeable about how bitcoin will help an investor to become successful.
