To make quick profits, the short term is more suitable for you to work on. Because with $ 2k you can leave it to invest in your long term, and in case of unexpected risks. $ 1k you invest in BTC currency which is currently experiencing an increase in price and another $ 1k can be used for you to trade.

Personally, I'll advise you to put half of it which is $1k into investment. It is advisable to invest in bitcoin and hodl for some time to make profits. That way, you can make some passive income.
Since you have some experience trading, it'd be nice for you to hone in on your trading skills. Perfect your skills at trading and you can make money actively. The remaining $1k is enough capital to get started on trading
If you can't trade, the next best thing is to buy some altcoins with potential that can grow in a few months or years

Don't look for fast profit since it may put your money at risk instead look for better trades which can make you earn a decent percentage. Just settle to earn less but consistently since this is more ideal than looking for quick but so risky schemes. And also just search the information you need on google since the latest news about latest event always posted there.

It seems to me that you want somebody to spoon feed you,by giving you valuable info for free,just like that.
That's not how things work.Just do your own research.

That's exactly what we have to do first.
Not bad to aim high but we also have to analyze if we are able to do that. Because we can't be an expert in a day nor we can make a good trade for just a week or even a month, but usually it takes months/years to see a reliable profit.

3 years is not a short time to learn many things from here. You will get more lessons to learn, and you will get experience on how to trade better than the other people out there. I guess you miss something here or maybe you do not understand the lesson, so you think that you do not know much about trading. My suggestion is to invest your money in bitcoin instead of altcoin because the bitcoin price will increase later. But you do not have to follow my advice before you know why you need to invest in bitcoin. You need to search by yourself about that. I do not think that you will make a big profit from investing using the upcoming news.

I think the main thing you are lacking at the moment is "confidence". You are here for the past few years so I suggest you to trust your guts and invest in the currencies you think are good for making profit at the moment. Here everyone has their own suggestion which will confuse you more, so try trusting your guts.

I also have some help from my friends they share some of their insight and info so we could also have a better understanding about the projects and if it would be a good one to buy.

Eth, BNB, ADA and so on on the top listed on CMC can buy in this time. I am still waiting to see the altcoins season which we already had seen few days back and want to see it again after this small correction. There are still people on this market in spite on being here for a while already but still do lack out with actual experience due to lack of engagement towards the market.
Experience would really teach you everything that you'll need to learn.Every one does have the same aims on how to sustain yourself and make profitable
when youre dealing with crypto this isnt something that can be teach into someone because real experience would really be the key to success.

Social media don't give a reliable source of information, and why? Because most of them are paid ads, scripted, and they probably don't know about crypto in real life.
It could be your friends will give more than social media. But I would suggest not to think about easy money, instant return coz that only a way you will become a quitters someday if you will not able to reach your goal. 3-5% profit everyday, that was big enough and that seems realistic if you are good at trading.

For me, this is the best strategy that you must have if you don't have much confidence on your investment or the crypto that you are trading on. It's best to avoid newer coins out there as there is no guarantee that it'll go up and it has the most risk compared to the existing crypto out there.

But still there are exemption as sometimes there are new coins that has many support and backers which is highly to pump and be stable.

what you need is just trade in BTC/USDT. hold our coins for a long time and wait for a dip just like what happened since feb 21. it was a big opportunity really, it's however not easy to spot it.

In trading, you must be open to many crypto and not just bitcoin. It's best to spread your investment to different crypto just as the saying goes "Don't put all your eggs in one basket". It's better to know other crypto other than bitcoin.
As for the OP, I suggest that you spread your 2,000$ on different coins that you think has potential. Since you already have experience and you don't have any confidence on your research, I suggest that you double check and have another opinion on other traders or groups.
