Confident in a way that you have done your research and the coin that you're holding is one of the best in your research. Because confidence isn't just about looking at the price that can cope up with the volatility but it only means that you understand what you do.
And you're very well updated for that coin even just the most basic things about it.

I do agree that when you have a confident that the coin your hodling for a quite a long time was worth to keep it in your digital wallet then the patience was present and the control of mind over the attempts or impulsiveness was also there then it shouldn't give you the result that you may regrets also. When you have a patience your mind has a control over your emotion, which in some aspects of life of a trader those emotions of ours are the one that could lead us made some decisions that sometimes shouldn't made in the first place.

And when you have built your patience and confidence, it only means that you've been through a lot in the market. All of those researches that you've made added confidence for yourself.
Also, the experiences and bad days during the market had been so valuable in a way that you're very much trusting those coins you've held are reliable.

I also lived that bad experience. Those were the some failed ICOs, thank God now I don't want to know anything about them. But not everything is bad, there have been the launch of other projects with more development than a simple whitepaper and a roadmap.

Sometimes I wonder if there are now so many coins with a good performance, why not invest in them.
For a good investment you should examine the team, if it has support from investors, community, the product in progress. Now we have more analysis tools and ways to invest to earn excellent returns.

Which of course we should and must ready for the losses if worst things happen and profited when you have made a right decision in trading or investment. Let's be honest that we aren't perfect and we commit mistakes in tradings and investment and sometimes those mistakes that we have been committed was because we are being so excited with the market we have seen, emotional that we can make the best trading or investment here and we can generate a profit, so it's a battle of mind and emotion state. I do hope that whenever we encounter this matter we can choose what's best, does patiently waiting for a quite sometime or might take the risk to do it on time.
