Why should i invest in bitcoin or other cryptos ?
If you buy land, each year even if you don't work it you get weeds ... if you dry them you can use them to make a fire ...and in turn that generates energy ...
Meaning: that piece of land is giving you a dividend each year .

Why do you think that these things which are valid for conservative kinds of Investments would also be valid for Bitcoins?? This is honestly something a big problem for the whole community day after day people come down to try and compare them with things like : Land and Gold. Now you have to understand for a fact that you cannot sort out your dividend here what you can do is to see how your investment went over the years. For example if you did invest at a time when btc was x , you can cash out when it's 3x and get 2x as dividend!! Which is something that you would ofcourse have to consider since in how many years would you get this 2x dividend?? From your land ?? How many years exactly?? This is an investment. This cannot be compared to a property for sure. |

that is a naive argument. things don't have a value because there is "dividend"! i'm not sure where to even begin to explain why things have value because it is the most obvious thing in the world. |

And if you come with this kind of questions, you better stay away and just buy some land. ^ That is a perfect point if this guy doesn't understand the whole point of crypto. Just walk away and invest what you want, because in investing in BTC or cryptocurrencies, it needs knowledge for you to understand the whole system how it works. The same story on what I have experienced when there is my co-worker asked me about BTC and made arguments, the last words that I said to him, "If you dont believe me, I will not force you, but if I am successful someday, you will know what is the reason". Nevertheless, if you think investing a land, precious metals, and other stocks that you feel which better, go on, and believe what you believed. |

It's just natural to say that weed comes in a package once you buy a new land and what you mean to ask about in crypto/Bitcoin is your profit. I don't think you will get it as if Bitcoin is like a natural resources that would work on their asses such as doing photosynthesis itself but the answer is no. Bitcoin can't do that to you but instead you can do it on your own that's why you need to trade/buy/sell in order to get your desired profit. There's no dividend in crypto every year unless you do something about it. |

This is the same question as "why am I still here in crypto space?" Two different kind of investment that cannot be compared, and both could be a long term or short term investment. Both could also be a good investment as well. So, I don't know why you're comparing this two different types of investment. If you don't think you'll profit from crypto more than If you own a land, then simply stay out of crypto and focus on buying lands. |

If the dividends gives you enough that you thought you wouldn't need any kind if of new investments especially crypto currencies, then it's fine. Remember that it's own choice, but this is a new beginning for the monetary system and I pretty sure would regret not giving much attention in to it when it'll be accepted by majority of the people in ok n the world. Land is a good investment, I mean it dearly but if I were you I'd invest more, that dividend of yours could make a fortune even if it is just part of it.

If dividends is what you looking for, that's just a little portion compare to the potential price that bitcoin will show you in the future. Just for the sake of investment, if you've bought 1 bitcoin last March 2020, you've already multiplied it by 10x-11x if you sold at the top. Nobody forces you to invest in bitcoin or cryptos. Invest to what you know, you don't need any reason from others just to persuade you to invest. |

Not on other cryptos, but on bitcoin, I stick on bitcoin whatever happen because I know that it is worth it to wait and expected that there is another ATH will come in the future, time to time, another ATH will be broken and each ATH will cost thousand to millions of dollar that can be made in bitcoin. Believed me or not, you can truly enjoy investing in bitcoin, it always has a thrill. Where's my dividend if i invest in crypto ? If you can wait for a perfect time, it will surely have dividends and don't look only for a short period of time. |

To be realistic, land can not make you the profits that bitcoin can in any given time frame so long us you have perfectly executed those buy orders at the price dip.
In March 2020, BTC price dipped to around $4,000
In March 2021, BTC price is around $45,000
Tell me how many legit investment forms can make this kind of insane returns (>1000%) with in a year?

It is really up to the OP if he will venture in crypto or not. Real estate is by any means a tangible investment and if you have the capacity to invest, you should. In crypto, it is a whole different aspect here. If you are a risk taker and know the consequences involved, why not? But it is always better to spend what you can afford to lose, if we are talking crypto. When you compare it to tangible assets, it is different. You know at anytime of the day, you still have the asset and it will only grow in time. Not with high returns but at least you can sleep peacefully knowing that your tangible assets will not disappear. However, in crypto, a user should know what he is getting into. This is a very volatile and risky investment, and not all people can get their target profits, they can even lose all their funds in just short period of time. |

You misunderstood the capabilities of crypto investments. While you grab the opportunity of crypto market's volatility and you make a profits on that way.
Comparing the two different kind of investments will just give you wrong impressions or scattered understanding. Real estate investments like lands is way different from crypto investments. Just so you know, if land gives you dividend each year. Crypto investments will also give you more than you expected and in a short period of time if you enter in a good time.

That actually depends on how will you invest in Alternate Cryptocurrencies. There are situations in which a new Cryptocurrency is capable of boosting its value to at least x10 its initial value and that profit is so great that you have to be always spectating it. Investing on Bitcoin is also the same with Alternate Cryptocurrencies but there will be moments that this Alt's will yield a greater profit since they are starting from a small value. |

I don't think it's that easy. Buying land won't just give you dividends or energy, you are going to have to work for it. Or you have to rent it out to somr farmers who will then work on the land. In my country the rent income is very low for land itself The only way to make money is to build and house or office for rent. But then you have to invest a lot before hand and it's going to take a long time to pay off. |

The thing you said depending of the country to live and the amount of money you have because you can never buy a land or invest in real estate with 100 bucks while you can easily invest this amount of money on crypto or even less. Also, in order to invest on real estate you will need to have some information about the place and try to predict the future. However, investing on real estate in a good idea. If you are looking to find a way to get 'dividend' (income) each year, you can easily try POS - proof of stack coins and by hodling them you will get some share.

Why should i invest in bitcoin or other cryptos ? You should not invest in bitcoin or any other coin in the cryptocurrency market, the market is not for everyone to try their luck and try to make money and if you or anyone thinks that there are many other platforms that make sense to you it is your decision and choice. If you buy land, each year even if you don't work it you get weeds ... if you dry them you can use them to make a fire ...and in turn that generates energy ...
Meaning: that piece of land is giving you a dividend each year .
Where's my dividend if i invest in crypto ? So purchase a land and dig toilet and ask other to defecate and earn money that way rather than investing in bitcoin  . |
