There is the final of U21 today with Germany - Portugal and don't get me wrong but both teams are having very talented players into their team so I'm expecting both team to score. Regarding blackjack...as a game it fits the criteria but being a final I don't think we gonna see a lot of action besides some goals. Anyway, would be nice to have this final for BlackJack. Opinions ?

Well , my country had a clear penalty on Ivan but the referee decided to look on the other way. Let's be honest, the only guy who kept this score being 1-0 is Romanian's goal keeper who is having his 2nd awesome game when he barely takes 1 goal. On the other side, England should've score more than once because Romania came in trying to take a draw but England should rise big questions for Euro 2020 which starts in 5 days from now.

boltz about what you said, I guess you're right in a normal situation but I never read friendlies about anything other than exercise and warm ups, and a chance for coaches to experiment. Which is also not ideal because your opponents are doing the same. So it's more like a training match more than anything else for me:)

Latvia seriously got destroyed eventhough it was only a friendly match  . I think the lineup that they used on this match were good enough for the Euro games

Definitely not a bad game at all for a friendly, and in fact if they had just created the same number of corners/cards as first half we could already be enjoying 21:)

Again, just a friendly but Germany really showed off their firepower here even if it's just Latvia, lots of guns to strike fear into the hearts of others who can't seem to score:)

Well, yea ...a friendly game rarely rises to high expectations and let's be honest, everyone is staying out and playing careful in order to no get injured. We are 3 days away from Euro to start and I must say I'm over hyped and I'm about to lock down myself in a room ( letting my family in peace ) and enjoy football alongside some beers.

I was itching to pull the trigger on Giroud any time goalscorer. That guy has for some reason been a source of French goals for a while now. Deschamps does like his veterans... Benzema injury not good timing.

Did he actually do that? Has he not seen Giroud actually turning up for France for a long stretch now from at least since the '18 World Cup? Damn haha. He's the perfect foil for teams that sit back and happy to absorb the rather wasteful Griezmanns and Mbappes -- but of course, they are in sore need of a replacement because he's not going to last another EURO after this (or is he? heh).

Well, yea ...a friendly game rarely rises to high expectations and let's be honest, everyone is staying out and playing careful in order to no get injured. We are 3 days away from Euro to start and I must say I'm over hyped and I'm about to lock down myself in a room ( letting my family in peace ) and enjoy football alongside some beers.

It's a bit different for me, we used to all go out together after work and dinner and meet at a big space with a screen to watch games but after Covid, we go to a friend's place and watch together (all living alone so no real risk since we also work together anyway). Usually no beers just soft drink and unhealthy snacks but it's definitely fun and it'll kill our sleep for sure the next day. I love World Cup and EUROs but my body hates it;)
