Tesla now accepts Bitcoin

Many people were already very excited to hear that Tesla was thinking to add Bitcoin as a payment method. And now, it has come true and people can really buy Tesla with BTC. But still I haven't heard anyone who bought a Tesla by this way. Until someone buys one, I will have my doubts about whether it is real.  

lol srsly? people who buys tesla with bitcoin more specifically definitely not gonna go around shouting that they bought tesla, this statement that says tesla accepts bitcoin itself coming from elon musk, maybe it's different in various country that only allows buying tesla through third party meaning they don't follow the idea of the tesla company itself since they are different entity but elon himself said that you can pretty much buy it seamlessly in the US. To be short, whether you can buy it or not using bitcoin totally depends on your location.

It does actually, looking how tesla and bitcoin price movement in the market when they did announce such news already gave us the answer. And since Tesla is accepting bitcoin directly as a form of payment already, now I wonder will other big US companies would do the same. Hmmm. can't wait how other companies would react...

Tesla already has close to 100% unrealized profit from their first investment in Bitcoin (which was done in January 2021, for a total amount of $1.5 billion). So obviously if the Bitcoin prices go up, then it is going to benefit Tesla. Another important point to note here is that Tesla has announced that they are not going to convert their Bitcoin revenue to fiat currency. So eventually, their Bitcoin stash is going to go up further.

I think that this move by Tesla not converting bitcoin to fiat is going to benefit them and considering that they are going to stash this bitcoin, I am positive that the prices are going to soar higher in the next coming months and years and to anyone who still doesn't want to get into bitcoin, I think that this is one of the many signs that you should get in because with the current situation, the only way for bitcoin is to go up.

It's just matter of time, maybe in the next 5 years many companies already accepting it since integrating it is now hassle-free because paypal and it opens up a company to wider potential customer so why not if we're looking from business perspective. what i'm waiting is now the big company from other continent, like asia whether they gonna accept crypto or not.

Agree with you on this, there is always a percentage of risk in every investment and this risk is a bit higher when you deal with crypto but seeing big boys investing so much money into BTC is reassuring imo. I don't think istitutional investors will staying inactive when their investment value decreasing and will put in place every measure they have at their disposal to defend their positions.

This is just a sign of things to come. This decade (2021-30) belongs to cryptocurrency, and already we are witnessing huge strides made by Bitcoin as far as mainstream adoption is concerned. First it was paypal wich accepted Bitcoin in its platform. Then Tesla came up with the idea of a multi-billion USD investment in Bitcoin, followed by accepting it as a mode of payment for the purchase of its EVs. Now Mastercard is bringing cryptocurrency in to it's network. It is possible to make payment with BTC on Visa. In short, the revolution has started and all you need to do is to hold on to your coins for some more time.

Listed companies need to publish the details of their investments, in a monthly or quarterly basis. However, private companies are not required by the law to do so. So if some of the companies that are not traded in the stock market are purchasing or accumulating Bitcoins, then we may never know about it (that is unless these companies themselves reveal their holdings). That said, I believe that the next pump will be caused by individual investors from the United States, and not by institutional investors.

Seeing the rising price of Bitcoin and its demand, various companies have invested in Bitcoin for their own profit. Some companies have invested in Bitcoin to advertise their own products, example-PayPal. Elon Musk has invested in Bitcoin. He naturally wants the price of Bitcoin to go up so he is working hard for the promotion and adoption of Bitcoin. Elon Musk has assured that the bitcoin obtained from TESLA will be held for the future, It will definitely impact positively in Bitcoin ecosystem, I applaud his intentions.

I was going to buy a Tesla Cybertruck anyway.  The ability to do so with Bitcoin is just icing on the cake.  Not to mention that Elon is going to hold the Bitcoin and not exchange it for fiat, and you have a win-win for everyone.

When I heard this news, I was not surprised. Musk expressed his love for Bitcoin earlier. He bought a large amount of Bitcoin as a reserve investment. I think this time he used this move to raise the Bitcoin again. The currency's market has caused its price to rise again. I hope that one day I can also buy a Tesla with Bitcoin.
