When I heard this news, I was not surprised. Musk expressed his love for Bitcoin earlier. He bought a large amount of Bitcoin as a reserve investment. I think this time he used this move to raise the Bitcoin again. The currency's market has caused its price to rise again. I hope that one day I can also buy a Tesla with Bitcoin.

This is not just love, but a good business plan. We all know that with each year and mileage increase the car looses its value. I still recommend Bitcoin to all my friends, customers and family. In my opinion, some of the risks holding bitcoin on a long term perspective has decreased in the past few months. All around the world, financial institutions are going for blockchain technology and accepting Bitcoin as a trustworthy payment method for their products. Guessing PayPal could also adapt this strategy and start to offer wallets to merchants.

I also recommend btc for holding. Big company starting to invest in btc. I think, They not publish their investing news to publicly everytime. Lot of companies starting to invest in btc, People inspired to invest in btc from them. It’s will be a major reason of btc pump.

Could possibly, they're not gonna be happy if public could see how they diversify their investment and to invest in crypto that is considered as high risk by some could make controversy within the company itself not to mention the public.
It's certainly good for holding aswell seeing its growth from the chart, people keep focusing on the pump and dump that happens quite short term but forget how bitcoin has performed over a decade.

I would imagine that any method of sending BTC would work just fine so long as it shows up in the blockchain.  I can confirm this once I make payment for my Tesla, but I don't see why they would require anything other than you sending BTC to an address they provide like every other Bitcoin transaction in the history of retail crypto sales. 

I don't understand what you don't understand.  Someone accepts BTC, you send them BTC.  Where it comes from would seem to be a moot factor so long as it isn't stolen BTC.

It only proves that Elon Musk was open minded to adopt such crypto trend to become one of the mode of payment in tesla company. I guess he was the first businessman openly announce of accepting bitcoin as a payment on his business and knowing that requiring to exchange bitcoin into fiat is not already an issue.

I'm checking https://www.tesla.com/ for US market and it allows only to pay in US dollars. Neither car, nor accessories I can buy with crypto. It is mentioned that there must be a "Bitcoin symbol" next to "order" button, but I dont see it.

Well, they will do what Grayscale and Microstrategy does, store it for a long time and sell some of it from time to time and then buy back some out of the profit and increase your stash of bitcoin. I am sure that they have their ways to make money out of this.

They don't need to purchase any BTC from the market. They are already accepting Bitcoin as a payment for their EVs, so there is a net inflow of coins. But these are initial days and we don't know what percentage of the sales are using BTC. In their Q1 statement, they have already made it clear that the value of BTC they are holding is around $2.48 billion. Let's wait until the next statement to see how much their holdings increase during the 3-month period.
