I think it will now aim for its new goal which is a $100k mark, nothing is impossible with bitcoin.

It is not only used for speculation but it can be also used for paying something. Are you aware about Visa completing its first transaction using bitcoin? That's an example that bitcoin can be used as a payment tool and still there are more big companies which are trying to adopt it.

Maybe 5 years from now, more companies will implement this kind of adoption and development in their system.

It isn't impossible specially that many investors are coming and businesses are adopting faster than ever before. Having a Trillion market cap is unrealistic before but look at where BTC now.

The value appreciation of bitcoin is continuously happening but how many people are making use of bitcoin in real life like spending bitcoin for everyday life? I guess only very few people with respect to their country's adoption level of bitcoin. When bitcoin is getting into mainstream adoption, the value of bitcoin will be definitely go another 10x appreciation.

But, most people are not taking care of making bitcoin into mainstream adoption but they are simply speculating about reaching million dollar levels.

Yes a lot of people are now looking at bitcoin, everyone wants to make sure that they own some bitcoins so that they wouldn’t be missing out from the opportunity that it brings. Now that the price of the coin have reached sixty thousand dollars and above a lot of people will now want to start buying it especially those that didn’t invest all this whole and are thinking that it is coming to an end, which it isn’t, they are definitely going to be shocked and blame themselves for not buying when it was at a lower rate , very bad for them.

Well, if you're using bitcoin as a currency you ought to be ecstatic that it's hit $60k, because you can buy a hell of a lot more with it than you could at this same time last year (assuming you're holding the same amount, of course). 

And where can you spend it?  Plenty of places, though you can't pay for things like rent, mortgage, taxes, and some other common expenses.  But if you're looking for anything computer-related, Newegg accepts bitcoin.  Overstock.com also takes it, and they sell pretty much anything you need.  If you want to buy precious metals, there's APMEX, JM Bullion, and Provident Metals.  So it's not like there's no where to spend bitcoin if you have it (and want to spend it, which I find crazy).

True, obviously, and if and when bitcoin hits $70k I'm going to start to get the feeling that $100k is well within reach.  And we're so close already.

Before this i was convinced that BTC will drop and altcoins will go up. Now it is so weird, we have BTC going sideways and some alts going up.

It could be that BTC will bounce off 70k becasue it is historical logarithmic ressistance or it can go thru it and then surely we know what is the next ressistance, the 100k!

The world's richest Elon Musk whose company Tesla recently invested $1.5B in bitcoin alone and has since never stop talking about bitcoin, you can actually use your bitcoin to purchase Tesla cars. And a whole lot of retail shops accepting bitcoin. There are some site that allows you to fund with bitcoin while pay for their services, it's cheaper and stress-free.

To be honest there are many store actually accepting bitcoin as a payment well if you really want to build an store then you can accept bitcoin as a payment too here in my country most of restaurant are accepting bitcoin nowadays because most of people are using bitcoin and now openly good for the government and one of the senator in my country already created an alternative coin where he can say that if this coin are into the market and earn more than it's invested he actually donated it into the poor people. But most of them are into bitcoin industry already.

People allow to use cashless bill to pay in some store, though mostly use centralized currency, you may not know how many of them having invested with decentralized currency and make them an asset and gain profit . Bitcoin is being popular again when it started to bull gain in the market. Many get interested, we do not know if even the government aware and using it to even for there own gain. Crypto is making noise and being known anywhere everywhere, and that makes the price hike.

I would put my chips on bitcoin reaching the 70k mark next and then it will stagnate there for awhile and then it will continue its run into 100k and 120k and so on. We can dream all we want what happens to bitcoin next but all we can do is hope for the best and be prepared no matter what happens.

Do not let us waste the movement of bitcoin which tends to increase slowly but surely, there may also be parties who expect bitcoin to fall a little to make a purchase and in my opinion that is not possible.
So I think they should take advantage of the bitcoin movement and buy without expecting the bitcoin price to fall to buy it, and buy whenever you can because bitcoin price will continue to slowly increase.
So in my opinion, buy bitcoin without expecting bitcoin to fall to buy it because it is impossible because the price of bitcoin will continue to rise until it reaches its highest price, and increase your profits which will continue to increase.

Financial "experts" have been predicting over $100k every year since for years now, they've never been right before so there's no real reason to give any weight to these predictions. Bitcoin is as likely to go back to $50k than it is to go to $70k, let alone go to $130k.

Well atleast their prediction isn't really far off considering many these so called financial experts have predicted bitcoin to go as far as $100K from when the price of bitcoin was below $10K and we're already more than halfway to go here. It's not like their prediction should be very accurate right? there's always some miss

I agree. Bitcoin price, after crashing from $19k, was staying below $10k for more than a year, then it went up above $10k in the end of June 2019, reached $13k for a second in July, and started crashing from there(only with one outlier in the mid February 2020, when it reached $10k+, again, just for a moment), and it descended to as low as $5,173 in March 2020. Knowing all that, it wasn't that easy to predict that BTC would go from $10k not towards $5k again, but towards $100k. I personally couldn't predict that, and I respect those who could.

The point is there's no accountability for the predictions. You never keep track of all the times someone is wrong predicting $50k, you only remember the 1 out 100 times they were right.  Nobody issuing price predictions has a track record worthy of paying attention to their track records is my point.

Btw, totally called going back to $50k after it hit $60k.  Maybe I am the expert.

That's a wrong perception, trading is only profitable if you are good and not all traders are profitable, bitcoin is helpful as an investment and a payment system but it should not be viewed as an easy profit generating machine as your fate in crypto depends on how you handle yourself.

I absolutely agree with you that due to the huge volatility of cryptocurrencies, calculated in tens or even hundreds of percent, there are two possible possibilities: just as it is really easy to make money, it is also very easy to lose your investment. Therefore, it is necessary to constantly remind new people about this, who come to the market and after losing a lot, then become disillusioned with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for the rest of their lives. Therefore, only the constant search for new knowledge and new information can help to avoid many of the losses that are typical for beginners. By the way, I think that the current drawdown of the bitcoin price in the region of 50,000 is a very significant milestone and if the price goes below this mark, we can see a correction of the exchange price by tens of thousands of dollars.

Therefore, there are a lot of thoughts on the subject, but only one thought revolves in my head all the time. Various funds bought bitcoin at levels above 50,000, I don't think they would, and spent a lot of money knowing that a correction was coming soon. Therefore, it is possible that the bullish race will continue and possibly for a long time. In addition, I cannot imagine a scenario in which we find ourselves in a deep correction that will allow everyone to buy Bitcoin at low prices, and believe me, this will be the case. After the current bull run, only the lazy person does not dream of a drop in the price of bitcoin in order to invest in it. So I think we are seeing the lowest Bitcoin prices right now.

Yes, no one will know until how widespread adoption will be, maybe only the whales will. and what is certain is that currently more and more large companies are adopting it, and giving massive influence to all circles. and after that we will see whether this condition will increase again or in fact in 2019 it will happen again

Phew, that's the question we all want to know the answer to! If we only knew it, we also knew what to do next. I don't know what will happen after 60k, but I believe to know that it is going higher in the long run.

until now there has been no legalization of bitcoin for transaction tools in general. besides the government has not supported it yet, bitcoin fees are too large, I don't think they are suitable for small scale transactions. I hope there are other supporting coins that are more flexible with this condition, and the government will legalize it soon

Big whales always wants more money, after $60K who knows what's next to come, what's better is to decide by yourself, if you do believe that there are more to come, buy and hold till it reached your target.

Though if you are more on scalping and you work with day trades, it's also possible to chase the market movements and try to earned out from it.
