There are many stores in the world that accept Bitcoin, France, Italy, Spain and there are many stores that you can buy with Bitcoin, although Bitcoin is now quite famous as a speculative action, it has a lot of weight for investors worldwide, such as Elon Musk, Paypal, Microestrategy, among others.
 
In countries with rampant inflation it is much better than gold, some gold investors have passed everything to BItcoin, the son of the controversial Peter Schiff has already done so, there are some statements from the president of the FED that it is likely that gold can be substituted for Bitcoin due to its high speculative power, but not as a safe haven due to its high volatility and lack of support.

All the mentioned question's already answered. I want to mention here that day by day the value of Bitcoin will increase definitely because of getting modern. People are enjoying cashless society. To establish it, we need to think of converting fiat to digital currency or we need to store fiat to digital wallet. Basically, people are not willingly interested to give extra money for it, if you store your finds using crypto, you won't be charged for it. So it is easy for you to store and use. After passing the $60k marks, we may see another ATH by it very shortly.

even though there are products that can be bought with bitcoin, I don't think it means we are wasting this opportunity, just because these products can be bought with bitcoin. still I will think twice. besides the growth of bitcoin, which is increasing day by day, it would not be a thought if the money in your pocket can still buy it.
I will keep bitcoin for the future. although I am interested in a particular product, it is not possible to exchange it for a future asset such as bitcoin.

In other words, I would rather not buy a product that I like, rather than having to get rid of bitcoins just for the sake of things that will be useless. while bitcoin will be increasingly rare and valuable.

and if the OP cant find any merchant nearby accepting bitcoin, why not convert his BTC to his fiat, and use that money instead? am not seeing any prob here when it comes to finding shops or merchants accepting bitcoin. because you can always convert it to your fiat. dont be hard on yourself. remember, it is easy to find fiat rather than accumulate BTC.

For now there really isn't a lot of real life uses for bitcoin like daily transactions but I think that it will change overtime because bitcoin adoption is steadily growing and with Tesla's announcement that you can buy a car from them using bitcoin, it only helped spur a new movement that is definitely going to influence other car companies or other companies to integrate a bitcoin payment system in their existing payment system.

I will be okay if bitcoin is for speculation of making money because as long as we can make money from bitcoin, we should accept it. We can use bitcoin in our daily life, such as buying something in real life. But until that time comes, we should be happy to earn more bitcoin from now on, so when that time comes, we are ready to use bitcoin to buy what we want in real life.

Bitcoin is mainly a currency but mostly treated as an asset. Did a quick lookup, and according to what I found, there are over 15k merchants that accept Bitcoin as payments, 2k of them are at the US. Now I don't know for sure if I should use this as a reference, but I tried looking up the number of online retailers in the entire world and found there were 7.9m around the globe, and 2.1m in the US, and that's only the online ones (I'm not really sure if the online/offline ones are counted as one). Just from that, the amount that accepts Bitcoin is pretty small, but hey, we're only a decade old and we could only go up from where we are atm. Plus, once the issues of fees and speed are fixed (Only fix I know as of late is the Lightning network) I'm guessing more would adopt it as a mode of payment.

Well, if Amazon starts to accept crypto then that leads the life way to puchase anything that's available online using crypto , PayPal has been quite positively vocal about crypto and added it to their system, if people can use crypto when paying with PayPal, then also that will make lots of room to purchase online. I envy your country or wherever you are because that means that there is a progress happening there, in my country there is close to no businesses that are doing this kind of stuff because A.) They do not want to integrate it because they are scared of what they don't know or B.) Well, nothing much, we are still going to continue making use of Bitcoin the same way that we have been making use of it, for transactions and for a store of value, nothing really more than that. I can assure you that it is really useful in our daily life based on my experience because compared to before I have now a little bit amount of money though I don't have any job yet. The thing is even without a job you could still earn money via trading Bitcoin, investing, and more. However, as much as possible having a job is still better. Regarding what we could buy using Bitcoin, everything whether it is online stuff or services as long as the merchant accepting Bitcoin. However, you could still buy whatever you want with bitcoin but you must convert it into fiat though. I would say Bitcoin adaptation is now getting bigger hence there must be a pretty decent number of merchants who already accepting Bitcoin as payment take Telsa for example.

But there was no massive adoption yet, and the reason why bitcoin has pumped and make a new ATH was not that, it was the institutional investors risking their money in crypto and people followed and got FOMO.

There are lots of things that you’re going to be able to do with your bitcoins and most of them are usually peer to peer that you would be able to do those, you will hardly find a platform where they are accepting Bitcoin online, because it’s hard to use bitcoin for these big companies, it’s not like when they are making use of options such debit and credit cards, where payments can be verified the second you make them, but as for Bitcoin they are going to have wait to verify or confirm the transactions, which most times they have to do it manually, so it wouldn’t make much sense for them making use of it since it’s going to be a waste of time which wouldn’t be good for big business with lots of customers, the methods that can be verified instantly. Certainly I agree with you there. Bitcoin is looking at hitting that $100k sometimes within the year or before the year ends but as usual, we most expect corrections every ones a while as this is a certainty in the market hence that will happen. Just on Saturday 10 April, Bitcoin hit $61k+ and it might have been some thing some of us would have thought will take a longer time than the time it took, so very hopeful that Bitcoin will do the $100k number.

I won’t really say that it is being helpful in our daily lives, because most of us here don’t make use of bitcoin for our daily needs, mostly what we are making use of is the fiat and nothing more than that. And if we decide to make use of bitcoin in making a purchase it is going to be something that we do once in a while and not on a steady basis. But as for merchants accepting Bitcoin, you can find lots of them online if you search for them.

My surprise was even greater when I saw that on Binance it reached $ 63k and then $ 62.9k, so it came and went, what I did was execute the stop loss, and from that moment I did not get off the chart, possibly there is a good bullish strength thanks to Microestrategy:

Bitcoin price, after crashing from $19k, was staying below $10k for more than a year, then it went up above $10k in the end of June 2019, reached $13k for a second in July, and started crashing from there(only with one outlier in the mid February 2020, when it reached $10k+, again, just for a moment), and it descended to as low as $5,173 in March 2020. Knowing all that, it wasn't that easy to predict that BTC would go from $10k not towards $5k again, but towards $100k. I personally couldn't predict that, and I respect those who could.

To be honest there are many store actually accepting bitcoin as a payment well if you really want to build an store then you can accept bitcoin as a payment too here in my country most of restaurant are accepting bitcoin nowadays because most of people are using bitcoin and now openly good for the government and one of the senator in my country already created an alternative coin where he can say that if this coin are into the market and earn more than it's invested he actually donated it into the poor people. But most of them are into bitcoin industry already.

People allow to use cashless bill to pay in some store, though mostly use centralized currency, you may not know how many of them having invested with decentralized currency and make them an asset and gain profit . Bitcoin is being popular again when it started to bull gain in the market. Many get interested, we do not know if even the government aware and using it to even for there own gain. The point is there's no accountability for the predictions. That's a wrong perception, trading is only profitable if you are good and not all traders are profitable, bitcoin is helpful as an investment and a payment system but it should not be viewed as an easy profit generating machine as your fate in crypto depends on how you handle yourself.

I absolutely agree with you that due to the huge volatility of cryptocurrencies, calculated in tens or even hundreds of percent, there are two possible possibilities: just as it is really easy to make money, it is also very easy to lose your investment. Therefore, it is necessary to constantly remind new people about this, who come to the market and after losing a lot, then become disillusioned with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for the rest of their lives. Various funds bought bitcoin at levels above 50,000, I don't think they would, and spent a lot of money knowing that a correction was coming soon. Therefore, it is possible that the bullish race will continue and possibly for a long time. In addition, I cannot imagine a scenario in which we find ourselves in a deep correction that will allow everyone to buy Bitcoin at low prices, and believe me, this will be the case. until now there has been no legalization of bitcoin for transaction tools in general. besides the government has not supported it yet, bitcoin fees are too large, I don't think they are suitable for small scale transactions. I suspect that if bitcoin does not gain a foothold in the area of $ 60,000 in the next month, then in the coming summer months we will expect a sideways trend in the area of $ 50-55,000 or even a correction below $ 50,000.

@AndySt, if Bitcoin was to replicate the previous market momentum there should some market since the last week of April till now due to the mining difficulty adjustment but market resistance to dump shows that there's alot of demand in the market than supply.

 We are still waiting for the next , because the Highest price reached was 64,000 means still in 60k level.Hope that in this second quarter at least we can break the 70,000 level and then the 80-k , 90k and in the end year finally the 100k dream value.

I think the target depends on your activity. If you are a long-term holder then you must be expecting at least 20X more from the 2018 ATH of BTC. From that perspective, BTC will only be 3X by then.  Also, institutional investors choose BTC as a long-term investment that means they are not going to sell for now. So it's hard to predict but 75k should be the next heavy resistance level for BTC if it again breaks the 60k mark.

Bitcoin is not a theory or guessing or speculation only.
On our area, there are no merchant/stores that accepts bitcoin or any other altcoins but I still find cryptocurrency as a useful thing in my daily life. Instead of using bitcoin to buy things, we can convert it to fiat then cash out through banks or money transfer. Bitcoin is useful in so many other ways.
Hopefully bitcoin continue to rise before the end of the year and breaks its last ATH.

Bitcoin is not yet legally adopted by the government but in our country we are free to use it. There are some stores that already accepting bitcoin as payment but the problem is the higher transaction fee. In my place, I can also use bitcoin easily but need to convert it into a fiat money to cash out and use to buy. even so, bitcoin is still very important to us because it is very useful in many ways. Bitcoin is not just for prediction and speculation because it has a higher value based on demand, supply and where it can be used especially now with a pandemic.  After $60K, if the demand keep on increasing there is a huge possibility that bitcoins value will continue to surge high.

Bitcoin is having full freedom to use them in life, store wealth, turn it into speculation. It can be used to pay for purchases online for places that accept (Tesla already accepts payments in bitcoin), can be free to withdraw bitcoins for cash at bitcoin ATMs in the US or anywhere support it.
Bitcoin will continue to run, similar to how Doge did. I believe bitcoin will head towards $ 100k once the bears are hibernated.

I believe that for the majority of those who do day trading their winnings and losses cancel out quite even in particular over a longer period of time. What it actually means is you need to catch the peaks frequently (which nobody does) and buy coins back on the way down hoping to then catch the peak again or close to that. I didnt know that Tesla decided to stop accepting bitcoin, the last time I heard is they sell 10% of their bitcoin. Im late with the latest news due to my work. This might be one of the reason why bitcoin experience a correction. Anyway Tesla is a big company and their decision has an impact but the price doest rely on that, many adoption happened and there's more to look forward.

As if he didn't know before that Bitcoins are creating through a process called mining and that mining uses electricity intensive hardware Well, he is only Elon Musk so why would he understand a thing or two about energy expenditure and mining hardware?
