Bitcoin was not created to make you free but make a currency which is immune to infaltion ,manipulation and control . And it will not give power back to working ecasue the rich has understood that they need to buy and hold BTC, which means that in purely BTC run world there would be BTC rich and BTC poor people as it is now.

I agree with you. With Bitcoin, we are free to send money anywhere and to anyone without intermediaries (peer to peer). Besides, using bitcoin to pay household bills is very practical and easy. But the practice now is, someone who buys bitcoin today hopes to get rich. they buy bitcoins because of their volatile value. they think that the volatility of bitcoin can provide quick profits.

Bitcoin's offer is freedom that we don't have with Fiat currencies. We are all grateful here to have a tool to save money with outside of the reach of governments and central banks. While in terms of crypto currencies we might not be rich, we still will get rich in terms of fiat currencies. As long as countries are constantly issuing debt and print money, their currencies will drop in value. So if we eventually convert back to fiat or maybe buy directly with bitcoins we can get rich.

Every person was dreaming to have a financial freedom at an early age as they can and the fact that today the importance of money really matter because you can't purchase products and services without it. Personally, what I realize about bitcoin especially in this time of pandemic was bitcoin was created for people to use as another way of source of income, to help people ease the difficult times of living. Bitcoin was created not exactly to make you rich because getting rich is depend on how do you dealt with crypto world wisely but getting rich with the use of bitcoin wasn't impossible.

This is the problem with the people who use bitcoin and that is why it is great as an asset but it is not as a means of currency. People put fiat money into bitcoin, the price of bitcoin goes up, they take out more fiat money and they continue their life that way. Most of the "dreams" is about buying a crypto (could btc, could be alt) and in the end they want to take out so much fiat out of it, get so rich that they want to be able to live a financially free life thanks to the profit they made.

However reality is that bitcoin wasn't created because of that, it was created to be a currency, which means instead of using fiat, you should be able to use bitcoin, that was the starting idea. So you should not want bitcoin to go up in price (which you can anyway) but you should want bitcoin to be accepted everywhere around the world, that was the intended end level.

I guess it can be both depending on how you learn to utilize or manage what you have, in order to get rich or financially stable through bitcoin you have to hold it and make use of it accordingly like any other asset you have, it can also be liberating when using it to transact or pay without hassle of bringing bulk of cash because its virtual money you can use it easily and also no one can be responsible to it but you.

I mean there are a lot of people here anyway for various reasons. I already stated one in here before that there are just different types of people on how they see Bitcoin and why did they decided to invest it in the first place.
One would be for its of value.
Two would be for its utility. It is pandemic and you never want to make physical contact with other people outside as much as possible especially in a transaction, so how about let Bitcoin do that for you.

it is fitting that we live freely in this era, and be kept away from the restraint of the government...
all the government has in mind is which one pays more taxes. when it is in their favor then they will keep quiet. if there are taxpayers who are bothered by Bitcoin then surely the government will make Bitcoin illegal in their country, so pathetic.

I do not think that we would be going back to times when money wasn't created, that is way too long ago and that was barter and we are not achieving barter with crypto. I think it is going back to times when there was gold and silver used for payments, that seems more accurate.

I do believe that back in those days not everything was awesome, there was definitely some problems but the reality is that it was definitely better than what we have right now. Even when fiat when first started, we used banknotes but that wasn't that bad, why? Because, we didn't had the understanding of "debt" we have today and we didn't had credit cards just yet and we were all tied to gold standard so it was all good. Nowadays everything is out of control, and with bitcoin we are getting back there, we are getting back to days of gold being a big part of finance, either via using it directly, or at least having fiat tied to it like early days.

You can use bitcoin as a good investment if you think the country does not give a good outcome to you but still, they keep supporting the use of cryptocurrency it's better if you take to grab the opportunity as an advantage there are a lot of people today would like to make an investment because the country does not restrict the use of it. The Middle class are quickly being absorbed by Inflation that are being manipulated. The actual Inflation, based on the goods that we actually use.. is much higher than the Inflation calculated by our governments.

So they are hiding the real inflation to keep their voters satisfied ...but they are slowly but surely killing off the Middle class. (We get less interest on our deposits and the price increases are absorbing the salary increases and effectively nullifying them.)

the financial crisis in 2007/2008. Wages in some sectors just havent rebounded

Yes that is correct. Every individual has a different perception in life so we treat BTC according to how we appreciate it. When I make myself involved to crypto my goal is just to earn a big amount of money, save it, and then become rich if I can. You should be more precise, maybe rich and maybe free but an opposite situation can still happen, sometimes we lose our freedom, even become poorer by failures in bitcoin, perhaps we should clearly define the purpose and concept for which bitcoin was created, instead of creating the freedom or the opportunity to get rich, bitcoin appears only for the purpose of being a new technology, the rest is just a turn that many people want.
