I think the author’s title should be like this. I realize the freedom of wealth through Bitcoin. I know where my money is. I know what they are used for? Instead of a centralized banking system to operate for me, it may be meager interest, or the country may use it to resist economic crises. What I don't want to see is that I could have the money to buy a house, but now I can only buy a motorcycle.

Ridiculous. All of us own Bitcoin because we know that in the future the exchange rates will rise and we will get good returns from our investment. When I invested in Bitcoin for the first time in 2012, I was motivated by financial returns, as well as ideological reasons. Back in 2012, not may thought that the exchange rates would go up by 5,000x in a decade. Nowadays, ideologically motivated investors are hard to find. After the crazy bull runs we had in 2013 and 2017, now most of the users are those who don't have any political views on BTC. |

bitcoin and altcoin biggest hope? The more you hope, the bigger the disappointment you will get. You have to put your biggest hopes in yourself. keep working hard until you succeed, don't put your biggest hope in bitcoin or government. the government won't care about what you call the greatest hope, there are still many state affairs that are far more important than that (the economic crisis due to the pandemic for example)

Hope more and expect less is the best thing to do to avoid frustration and work hard to figure out what we want to be and keep in mind that bitcoin is an opportunity of gaining profit and not all the time to make us rich. |

Just because we can make profit by owning bitcoin doesn't mean that we should not see any ideological improvement over fiat neither. You can both make profit from bitcoin while also keeping up the idea that bitcoin is a better form of money than anything else we have seen in history, that is just a fact and I think it is true today as much as it was true in 2012 as well. This is why I personally do not really care about the people who just come here for only profit and do not care about what bitcoin has changed in world of economics. Even the transparency is good enough, we have governments all over the world getting taxes from people and then using it to make themselves or their friends richer, that is the worst problem in all nations, I do not think that there 10 nations that uses taxes properly, probably less than that which bitcoin could easily solve, or blockchain to be precise. |

Well it's true. And Bitcoin was decentralized so you have the control and freedom on your own account. Its for you to decide what are you going to do with your bitcoin, store it as an asset or spend it. It gives you financial freedom and you can get rich too thru it if you know how to handle things though bitcoin was not originaly created to make you rich but give a financial freedom.

I just remember that most people at the time used bitcoin to pay or transact with someone anonymously online, which is what I saw most of the time. Then it started to grow, the price kept rising, and it became associated with investment, which is true. The price right now could make you rich, but the real purpose is to make things easier for you because we all know that we are earning because of bitcoin, and it could make you free from debts and not have to think too hard about where to find another source of income.

I hate that I cannot save money effectively because our government loves to inflate problems away at the expense of my savings... bitcoin and altcoins are our greatest hope in returning power back to working middle-class people.

When money is the economic management tool of the government, bitcoin is the tool to help this world get rid of fiat, financial freedom in a civilized way. That was the vision of bitcoin, but later, an outbreak of essential speculative demand made bitcoin a tool for wealth management for the people. I think bitcoin has both sides: rich and freedome |

In my opinion, Bitcoin was created to set us free from the boundaries given by the government, therefore, Bitcoin gives us the freedom to do whatever we want without taxes or the government itself holding us back, too much freedom sometimes can be called greedy, therefore some have used this power to get themselves on top, it is true that Bitcoin gives us freedom, but I have to deny the fact that it wasn't also made to get put someone up from rags to riches, what is there to freedom when you can't use it for yourself and become rich or at least get yourself out of poverty (if you are in the state of poverty that is)? Isn't that what everyone's goal is? to expand and secure our future?

My thoughts is that bitcoin is just a medium to help you become rich or financially stable, in the end you are the one that needs to utilize those tools given to you, what I mean by that is you do have bitcoin but you don't know what to do next so you are just stuck into hodling only which isn't helpful if you want to get financially stable. I do agree that bitcoin can return the power back to the working class but we all know that bitcoin is for everyone so even the ruling class can get in like what they are doing now.
Yes of cause the ruling class is getting into cryptocurrencies as well but with the lower and middle classes into cryptocurrency, it will definitely save as a means of freedom for them too and not totally dependent on the higher class in the society. Cryptocurrency has really helped people regardless of the way you are trading it as long as you are doing it right. |

In my mind, BTC not only makes you rich but also gives you your personal financial freedom. why the question you ask is BTC is not created to get rich so what you want to invest in BTC is you want to change your life when BTC rises so what is it, you can't deny what I'm analyzing with you right?

Btc was created as peer to peer electronic cash system, but talking about being rich is relative. You can deny the fact that everyone in this space is here for the maximization of profits. If institutional investors didn't find it interesting as an asset that yield and protect from inflation as hedge tool, they will never be here in the first and talking about bitcoin moving to the mainstream will be difficult because the first question they will ask you when you preach the gospel of bitcoin is where is the value but since its a sweet investment, everyone will shout for its vision actualization.

if saving is your concern then i think it will still be hard to do that here in cryptos because their value is not stable but investing in btc and on the right altcoins could make you more profitable than in losses if you keep saving them in the long run and decentralized cryptos are not created by the governments so if you have a hate on them, cryptos can still be your best bet over the fiat currencies . |

I agree with the subject. Bitcoin's main goal was not to make all people rich of course. This is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It is true that you can increase your money a lot if you make an investment into Bitcoin for a long term. But it is just one of the features of Bitcoin. But when it comes to the main goal, Bitcoin was created to help you make transactions freely without someone interrupting. You don't need to deal with any banks, personnel etc.. You have the full control of your money. This is the pure freedom to me.
