I think that starting this month until may will be the span of the altseason if the pattern of the previous altseason will be the same as todays happening. I am so excited to see how my hodling burst up and pump massively especially BNB and XRP.

I can believe BNB but XRP is actually also potential, but if the problem can be resolved quickly it is not impossible that it will also surprise  of course like ADA, Link, DOT etc. it also has the potential to increase, don't forget that new coins can also make a surprise.

Yeah, it seems that BNB made it in the top 5 cryptos in the space of just a few days!!! If I was to speculate on alts I'd say ADA, DOT would be good ones with much more potential left than BNB or XRP which have recently peaked.  At the same time though, I'd look at newer coins with potential to explode like DOA Maker or Casper which is yet to be launched. Early projects have much greater potential than the older ones, specially if you can get in the early launch.

these will be interesting months for the altseason, the dominance of bitcoin drops and it will be really interesting to see how the altcoins will surpass their ATH

This is only the very beginning of the altseason, funds from bitcoin and ethereum are just beginning to flow into altcoins.

Top altcoins have more potential than other cryptocurrencies for the alt season. That is why when BTC starts getting up, most top altcoins follow this movement and start increasing. You can see the price of ETH and if you analyze you can see since BTC price getting up ETH was getting up also. ETH price is around 2k and already reached this price. l think ETH will keep the price increasing. If we collect some ETH till the right day, we can make a good profit from this investment.

Altcoins were a good choice when the altseason started, and investing in bitcoin didn't have much profit, because when the altcoin season started, only altcoin prices increased, and bitcoin would sideways.
The price of ETH has risen too high, it is not very profitable, if it increases during the altseason, it will not be able to give more than 10 times the profit of today's price. It's better to look for coins that haven't risen too high like BCH, ONT, NEO, ATOM, etc.

A lot of people (especially the new and inexperienced users) tend to believe in these videos which claim to promise 50x or 100x returns in a year's time. The shitcoin scammers just make use of the ignorance and greed from the investors. 100x returns may be theoretically possible. But investor needs to remind that such returns may only happen in one or two projects out of 100. IMO, rather than taking this risk, they can make the investment with some of the established coins (either Bitcoin, or ETH/ADA/BNB/LTC).

greed will cause losses, and that will really happen if we are controlled by the desire to get rich in a fast way, investing in established coins such as ETH / ADA / BNB / LTC is indeed the right choice, at least it can reduce this risk.

It should be the altcoin that is not yet pumped to surpass ATH.

I can't give you the name of altcoin but you can try to take a look at the top 100 coins and you will be seeing it which altcoins that is not yet pumping. I think that can be searched easily when you wanna spend your effort to find that on CMC.

I don't think so because i think BTC will rise tomorrow and break ATH.

The reason why i said that because of coinbase IPO, when BTC rise i believe another alts will be bleeding because most of us turn it he's alts into BTC.

From my experience here, I would say that this is the wrong strategy. If a particular altcoin is not going up when the others are getting pumped, in all probability that may be due to the fact that it's development is stagnant. So there is a very good chance that you will lose your capital in case you make an investment with such coins. So unless you have a solid reason to make an investment with such altcoins, please stay away from them.

Yes, and some of the popular Altcoins have proven themselves in reaching their ATH this month, such as BNB, ETH, LTC, ADA, XRP, TRX and BCD, so obviously this is the Altcoin season that everyone in the crypto space is looking forward to.

This time there were a lot of spikes in several alcoins, and it was almost evenly distributed as there was no barrier between the developments of each coin, BNB had a massive spike, even ETH which had problems with transaction costs continued to increase, this is indeed the time where the expectations of the the investor was granted and maybe this will last quite a while.

Yes, ETH and BNB are undoubtedly in terms of price increases at the moment, because they are both strong and competing fairly in terms of network development so they both have a good effect on prices in the market.

IMO, these two coins (Ethereum and Binance Coin) looks very overpriced. During the past few weeks, they have gone up (both against BTC and USD) by several times. A major driver has been the upcoming listing of Coinbase in the NASDAQ exchange. There is a lot of hype surrounding that and it has helped altcoins to move upwards. Now this dependency worries me. If something goes wrong with the listing, then we can expect a major crash.

I'm not sure how long it is, but as what I'm seeing now, the market is looking good for altcoins and bitcoin. Last time there was an altcoin season, bitcoin dominance was like 40% and even below, right now, bitcoin dominance is sitll at 53% which means altcoins can grow further while bitcoin will have an stable growth.

What's important is BTC going up while most altcoins are also going up.

This is another aspect to this time of altcoins bull speculation. Bitcoin is still on the rise and that keeps bringing doubt if we are in the alt bull because while bitcoin dropped in 2018 some altcoins grew faster. I'm expecting bull for the shit coins to know the altcoin has taken over.

As long as Bitcoin continues to surge, it's an indication that the alts season is not yet come. For alts season to begin, Bitcoin has to slow down. But this isn't so yet. However, from the technical perspective Bitcoin seems to be losing ground as its dominance in the market cap against other cryptos is dropping. This is where it gets complicated because one would expect that since dominance is dropping, the price should also drop. My eyes are on the dominance as well as the price of Bitcoin to ascertain when its bull run is ending. It's only when Bitcoin rally ends will alts rally begin. And for now, that's not clear.

Actually the altcoin season has started since January this year but the movement of atlcoin at that time is still slow so many people do not care, because at that time the value of ethreum is still at the lowest, and now the value of ethreum has reached a new ATH so that other potential altcoins also reach the highest price this month, if this year the price of bitcoin continues to increase then altcoins will definitely follow suit.

If based on the annual history of the cryptocurrency chart, Q2 has always been a good month for altcoins to go to the moon, usually this sign can be seen on the bitcoin dominance chart, bitcoin dominance chart can be a sign that if the altcoin season has started, the characteristics of bitcoin dominance are down below 50,, and the altcoin season will peak if bitcoin dominance is below 40.

Do not trust the media, they will weave colorful pictures to find the benefit behind.  You should learn and research carefully and carefully if you do not want to make mistakes.  The altcoin season is only required, but it is clear that Fomo is being overblown.  It is no different from inflation!

We are now in the mid of April and many alt coins are pumping in terms of bitcoin evaluation. However, we cannot say that we are in an alt-coin season. Bitcoin dominance needs to be between 35-40 % and then we will see a massive altcoin season, just like we saw in early 2018.

These youtubers and other social media influencers will only show you the gains which you can make in an altseason but they won't tell you when to exit. The altseason does not last for long and as per my experience, many people get stuck in the altcoins because they do not take exit in the alts and keep on holding them in greed for more profits.
