My bet will be on Paddy the baddy! It is very headshaking on why there are many fans of this sport who very much hate Paddy. I speculate that because of this hate, the odds for him are an underestimation, I reckon.

I will certainly not be very shocked if Paddy the baddy will have the victory on iron Michael Chandler through a submission on round 1 or round 2 very much similar to the underestimation that much of the fans had on him against King Green heheheheh.

Guess the UFC is hyped for this card as their fans are usually this is done later in the morning and even 10 minutes ahead of the top of the hour.

The press conference was a great one if you happen to miss it last night.
Yair and Lopes got into an argument on stage after Rodriguez said something to him in Spanish a few times that really set him off. Not sure what he said but there was talk afterwards that their camps had a beef for years to do with Beltran.

Also something everybody noticed was Nikita Krylov was representing Russia while he was Ukrainian in his previous fights. He had a Russian flag besides his name during this press conference so many are asking why. And it was revealed later the reason why because he is from the Donbas region which has been taken over by Russia.

He was also wearing some were saying a Newcastle United jersey but to me it looked more like one from Juventus when he first came out:


It says UFC on the front so it was a customized shirt for him.

Was watching a bunch of old fights of their opponents over the last couple of days and can see Paddy submitting Chandler too @rohang

This event is shaping up to be the most anticipated one of the year thus far because the press conference for 316 they pre-emptively showed last night for an event in June was not good at all. Suga Show said nothing and all we got was Pena swearing at Kayla for no reason except to try and make hype over their fight. I think Suga Sean already knows he will lose against Merab yet again so it is the most pointless fight to have made from the match makers so far this year.

This should be very interesting event to watch, whole main card is full of top fighters, and I want to see if Volkanovski can come back after losing last two fights.
Diego Lopes only lost one fight in UFC, but he showed weakness in previous fights and this fight can go either way.
I was very surprised to see so high odds on Bryce Mitchell to win against Jean Silva, so I placed small bet on him.

It was an incredible fight. But Diego Lopes was unable to impose his game. Volka more than deserved it, he was as tough as Diego. However, Diego was more passive and thought he could finish Volka. I think that is impossible, especially in the first rounds. Congratulations to Volka and I hope Diego takes this as a lesson, because he has potential.

But Lopes' effort to beat him was not successful. But Lopes can still get more fights as he is younger than Volka by 6 years. So yes, Lopes for sure will ask for more fights in this sports. Upset may not happen on this match but I believe, Lopes learned his lessons on this fight and use it for his next game.
I would say, Volka gained his confidence again after his loss to Tuporia. Now, his asking price is much better for the next opponents that he will face with because of this win.

Actually the entire card was fire and some very good matchups were done for this fight event.
Old man Volk did what many were unsure if he could do it at his age: Reclaim the featherweight title again.
Indeed, Lopes still has lots to learn and it was a great lesson from one of the best in the fight game for sure.

Brother, it won't be versus Topuria as that is who vacanted the title to allow Volkanovski to regain it once more in the first place.
Ilia moved to a different weightclass so he won't be fighting Alexander unless he decides to move up to Topuria.

As for which bets I won last night. Had Paddy winning so got that one correct. But didn't get the rest right such as Bryce Mitchell and Sean Woodson.
Dominick Reyes fight was a first round knockout in McGregor fashion with a step back and I wish I took him instead.

Diego will really learn from this fight. I didn't see what his face looked like, but Volka's looks show that it was a very close fight. I didn't expect him to look like that, I thought his face would be cleaner in terms of injuries, because Lopes' fighting game wasn't that good in my opinion.

This fight will be interesting, because it is not just a fight between two highly rated fighters. It ends up becoming a fight between two organizations of fighters. Garry is with Chute Box and I can't remember Prates at the moment. But he is with another organization. And it ends up making the rivalry even more intense.

Brother, it won't be versus Topuria as that is who vacanted the title to allow Volkanovski to regain it once more in the first place.

I think Volkanovski changed his weight category before and I want to see what would happen in their second match, first time he lost.
That would be interesting for UFC and Dana White, and I am sure they are going to try and make this fight happen in any category.

If I'm not mistaken, they've already fought twice and Volka lost both times. I think he now needs to keep the belt for at least three defenses before he can think about something outside this category.

Its fair for Volk to fight Movsar Evloev. that's the only one that makes sense for now until then, no one else. Moving up to fight Tuporia could be an option but that's something to maintain again for he will be facing hard punchers in the heavier division.

Carlos Prates is from the Fighting Nerds organization/fight institute. I remember how he was in his last bout and it was a great fight so this one with Machado won't disappoint. Jean Silva who just fought is in the club aswell.

Have seen the JRE podcast with ilia and it is a good one. Thanks for bringing it up!
He mentions how McGregor would be a good fight for Pimblett as there was mention of him during the post fight press conference after he beat the guy who he was scheduled to fight for his comeback bout.
