If you are going to ask me then of course what I want is e-sports to be the best betting game of the 21st century. The traditional sports would still be a staple of the older generations, but the new generations definitely needs something new and something that would be exciting at the same time challenging when it comes to the betting scene. I think there is a big sense of unpredictability in e-sports, that is why this is being preferred by the younger betting population.

it's just based on your experience, it's normal that we have some bad day in gambling, regardless of what sports we are betting, as a gambler, I also experience that and it sometimes made me mad and it resulted in bigger losses as I lost control since I tried to chase my loses so I could win it all back, but just like what they said, when you lose control, you are likely to lose.

IMO, it's only worst if you yourself gamble in a gamble that you don't really understand.

Physical confrontations do not occur, of course, no. But what you see quite often is that in LoL, for example, players are attacked preferentially who also have a bad image in real life. The better the team and the higher the league, the rarer this happens, and personal sensitivities simply have to take a back seat.

However, this behavior can very well be equated with physical attacks, such as in ice hockey.

I also think that betting on chess has some really interesting aspects. In my opinion it has to be consideres as sports, but maybe it is not the best spports to bet on. But at least you have to focus on the players and their last matches. Definitely worth to take a look at.

Yes, it is. I am sure that the chess game has its own fan and they willing to watch or bet on sports. They will always watch their favorite player playing and supporting them, even if their opponents have more skills than their favorite player. But I never met that other gambler who wanted to do that and waited for such a long time to see the result.

By the way, this is a rather controversial statement. From the point of view of mathematics, with the same money management, a player who understands some kind of sport will lose at the same speed as an absolute beginner who will bet at random. This is a big illusion that understanding the sport gives you some advantage (in relation to other players or the bookmaker).

It is very individual. The best sport to bet is the one which you are watching all the time and know more about it then the bookies. Biggest value can be found in fringe sports like cycling, table tennis or lower football leagues. That is simply because the bookies have problem posting the right odds and we can exploit that.

Next year I will be betting for full 20 years. There has not been a single day when I have not placed a bet. I have best results on Champions League football and tennis handicaps. Tennis in general is very good sport for me and probably the most profitable in the long run while I have hot/cold streaks in football. For instance I was very good in Premier League a couple of seasons ago while I am terrible this season. Last 2 seasons I earned a shitload of money betting on BTTS in Seria A while I had poor results in Italia before that. Since covid I started also following eSports and it seems to me there is a lot of value here but I don't have enough historic data to judge properly.

My first rule is to bet only on sports/matches I am watching. I will never put a high stakes bet on something I don't follow regularly.

The best sport to bet on is one you know well.
I like football, I watch Brazilian games daily and also European ones, that's where I bet the most.

I don't know if it's the one that gives the most profit, but it's the only one that I feel safe to bet on, because I know the teams and their potentials, I know the players and I'm always up to date on their performances, if they are injured or technically prevented from playing. All of this improves my chances of making good bets and making more profit.

Due to this particularity, I think that you will not find a consensus here.

for now, esports not as popular as you might say, their growth will only be large in the next few years.  There are still many young people who have not switched to e-sports betting, there are still many who are betting on traditional sports.

We do not know how people can think that the chess game is interesting because we are not familiar or do not like to play chess. But I guess people will want to find out how the player makes a strategy against the other player to win the game and that is not easy to create a strategy to win. I think chess games teach us about patience, calm down, and beat the other player with our strategy.

But we think that the other sports will be enjoyable to follow as we want to search for the challenge from that sports.

Unfortunately while esports may have seemed as a good candidate to play during the pandemic as the players do not really need to be on the same room, the fact that long distances, the Internet connection delays and cheating affect esports it means this was not possible, but as people are getting vaccinated then more esports events are making a comeback and this is important as I believe at some point in the future esports may become even more popular than the traditional sports.

You are correct, but it works in some special cases. For example, knowing the insider, I can better than the bookmaker understand the possible chances of teams in a particular match. But this does not matter at all at the distance, since the advantage that the bookmaker has at the distance turns into a 100% win for him.
