I also have Spence or Crawford in my mind as Pacquiao's next possible opponent. But If these both figthers would not come to an agreement against Pacquiao, Mikey is one of the best option. He isn't a bad fighter though.

It'll be hard for any fight to be locked for Pacquiao during these times, not unless the opponent would be Mayweather (which we know will never happen), then the money will talk for itself and Dubai would surely agree.

The fight against Mikey Garcia is not really something that's gonna get a lot of views even though Pacquiao is in the ring. It's just like a filler arc in a movie/tv series that happens but isn't really significant at all. No disrespect to Mikey Garcia but he just doesn't have the appeal to be matched against Pacquiao and generate those PPV sales.

Team Pacquiao might not want their fighter to fight Spence. The Crawford deal is considered dead right now. I don't know if that news is true but it seems so. So there is no other option left for now but Mikey Garcia. Or if this will not bring any final deal then the team won't have other choice but to look for another potential opponent.

Pacquiao has proven us a lot and we already know how dedicated he is when he fights. I don't think Garcia is too ready to beat him. However, I don't also think that Manny would prioritize having matches during this kind of situation. it seems that Pacquiao will fight Mikey Garcia in July or August. a recent article (posted four hours ago) stated that Arnold Vegafria(Pacquiao's business manager) and Jayke Joson(close Associate) confirmed that many Pacquiao will be returning for the first time after his fight with Kieth Thurman.
