people will cut when they think how much profit can be take in that time, different with panic sell. the first will calculate every move of bitcoin, they sell to take small or big profit than to gain it back. panic sell, just sell coin when they afraid to loss or cant get profit. they just lack of knowledge or newcomer that never see this situation before.

People will panic sell if Bitcoin moves suddenly down, because they think the price will continue to fall and their capital will run out. Even though what
we are worried about does not necessarily come true, most of it is just our own feelings of fear. Those who panic sell are indeed people who lack
knowledge and can also be beginners who really still don't understand the crypto world at all. So it is better before deciding to enter the market,
we must study all things related to the crypto world. So we will become more aware of how to invest well and can avoid losses, don't think that
making a profit from crypto investments is easy.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

In my opinion, panic selling is now no longer a habit for cryptocurrency holders, because they know that price fluctuations will occur. Usually, panic sells are carried out by new investors and are not familiar with the ups and downs of cryptocurrencies.

Panic sell is commonly happen because people already saw a lot of cryptocurrency crash for like 80%-90% in a short time even the cryptocurrency with many holders and good content provided.
So this is normal when people already invest much on a token and then the token experienced a big drop in a short time, the investors afraid to see their investment loss more than 50% because to recover it back it will need a very long time or even not recovering anymore due to a lot of new projects incoming and people are starting to invest to new proect and leave the old ones.

This only happens to newbies who are inexperienced with the volatility of the crypto market. On September 7th as an example, the bitcoin price crash over 10k USD in less than an hour. For newbies, it's terrible when they see their money lost and they don't know how to react at that moment. Perhaps choosing to sell is the last thought they have.

If someone gets a panic sell, I think they are psychologically depressed because of many factors why they panic. a logical option because it uses money all out so it makes someone not concerned to following the crypto cycle "bearish-sideways-bullish"

We saw the past from $10 to 60k is going up and up. So it sure it will reach $500k next destination.
But why the hell people panic sell now after it reach this high amount?
Do people really still think it goes to 0?

There soulnd't be any sale presure given the history that we see Bitcoin only going up in value
Some bad news about the price of bitcoin can create the situation. Besides, some people have no strong believe in bitcoin. In this purpose, influencer can play vital role.
If someone is in market then surely he is not going to be afraid of these things because after staying here he is understanding all fundamentals and realize it's usual business prices are going to down and up.

Sometime few newbies start selling blindly because they are not able to handle situation and want some quick profit which hurt market and panic selling start due to rumors. Many times we have some good rise in any coin is also problem for many because they feel now it's ATH, and they start selling which also bring dumb, and they feel after dumb they will enter again in market.

First of all, the experience level of an investor is really important. If one is an inexperienced investor and didn't do a detailed research about the coin they invested, then there is a high possibility that this person can panic sell also. These people like to FOMO also. When prices start going higher and they see many people buying, they start feeling bad about not buying for themselves. And they also start buying right after that. But they don't have a roadmap about what to do. I mean when to stop being greedy and sell.

But why the hell people panic sell now after it reach this high amount?
sometimes someone buys bitcoin using important money such, as money for daily needs or money used for other things. so that when they see the price of bitcoin go down a little they will panic and sell it immediately, it can be said that they are afraid of losing too much

Do people really still think it goes to 0?
as i said above, it all starts with panic and they think negatively about the bitcoin price.
but i think that's the thought of a newbie who just joined the crypto world

We all know that the market is volatile and any chance, it could pump or dump depends on the trader, investors such as the whales. Some people panic about selling unexpectedly because they want to prevent getting too many losses instead of gaining profit. In some cases, it's good to know when is the part to hold or not. Newbie in market technical analysis and indicators for sure gets a panic sell when the price drops, to those who are knowledgeable keep holding because they know its normal. Fear is one of the most common factor to lose their assets and of course no one wants that.

Those who panic are usually afraid of running out of their capital and it could be that the capital they use is not cold capital. If it is capital for the long term and is only used to focus on investing, I think they will be patient when the coin is experiencing a correction. Whereas with them selling it at a cheap price is a folly.

This is a normal situation. When people hear negative news about Bitcoin, they will choose to sell. They are newbies to cryptocurrency and they are afraid of failure. This is also the reason why most newcomers fail to invest. This will also be the experience accumulated for their future investment, and the wasted opportunity can only be missed. The potential of Bitcoin in the future is still worth long-term investment.

Yeah right , a normal situation for all of us not just beginners in my opinion . But this factor is mostly caused because their capital money is not cold money but hot money. So when trading in the market he is less calm and when he gets negative information and the price drops he immediately decides to make a loss.

Most of them are still newbies, when I was a newbie and entered trading, I panicked too easily when I saw prices drop or increase by more than 5%, at first I was trading in forex but the daily increase was never even more than 3%, after getting more and more familiar with crypto now the price goes up or down by 50% in a day it's a natural thing and don't panic anymore.

There are a lot of factors on why People are do panic selling. Let's name some of it;

1. Newbie trader - Slight adjustment seems pretty big to them.

2. FUD - Fake news is one of the most common, since a lot of us are into soc med there are people tend to manipulate the market by spreading false information about the certain thing.

3. Hype - As newbie trader, probably they'll invest at most to the known player in the market. But when something came up and see some are generating revenue while their own investment is not. It will drive them to withdraw and reinvest to another even at lost.

..and many more. The about this panic selling is that, is wrong but felt right at the same time for new traders. They tend to use emotions rather than the data/information available.

we all managed to experience this specially in our first years here in crypto market, but of course eventually learning to prevent this attitude in time.

this is similar to the mentioned above because FUD will only take effect if the involved is affected by small movements.

it was a stupid move. I'm sure it only happens to some people. because at least everyone is new to the crypto market. they come with an interest or an offer from someone else. at least new people will look for information in advance about what they are going to buy. no fool would want to waste their money on something unknown.

Looking for the right information about Cryptocurrency is important. Doing some research, to enable you know and understand what you are getting in. But, some people don't do that. Many just gets into Crypto world, and buy coins at higher prices, and when the price dropped. They panic and sell. This results to them losing instead of making profits. Which is indeed a stupid move. They end up saying Bitcoin is scam. Without knowing they were at fault.

People panic sell based on what they see or hear and how they interpret it. Sometimes the sell is not because they think it will drop to 0 but because they don’t want to incur significant loss. Of course with time they’ll realize they should have just held their coins.

for me this called Stupidity , why joining investment that you don't totally understand?
it was a stupid move. I'm sure it only happens to some people. because at least everyone is new to the crypto market. they come with an interest or an offer from someone else. at least new people will look for information in advance about what they are going to buy. no fool would want to waste their money on something unknown.
but this incident was widely experienced in 2018, where for the first time bitcoin set an amazing record so many of them thought that bitcoin would continue to rise and invest, but in the end there was a dump, so many people panicked to sell at that time with various stories of suffering , but for now I think new investors are smarter
