This is why his trust rating declines and disapproval rating goes up because people no longer believe his statement that he dedicates his fight for his country but the truth is, he is fighting for his self-interest.

Hehe I reckon you should consider the source of that article. .gov.ph is a government website, of course it will say his trust ratings is high.

In any case, we are being offtopic. Watch this video comparing Pacman and Spence training on the boxing pads. The difference in speed is very clear, but Spence has some power however slow. I reckon first 6 rounds will be for Manny the other 6 will depend on his conditioning which does not improve with age.

I am not quite certain on the state of politics in the Philippines, however, I am very certain that governments of 3rd world countries are very widespread in corruption from the bottom to the top. It might not be provable but this does not suggest that it is not there.

In any case, if Pacman’s trust rating is declining then this victory versus Spence on August 21 is very much needed for him. The purse might also be needed to fund his campaign hehehehe.

I am not sure whether Pacquiao would spend any of his personal wealth on the presidential campaign. Campaign funds are usually sourced from the public and the corporates. There have been exceptions, and one example is during the 2016 US presidential election when Donald Trump spent a lot of his own personal wealth on the campaign. Also, I don't think that the outcome of his fight against Errol Spence Jr will have any impact on the presidential race. He is already a well known figure in the Philippines and he don't need any such boost.

After hearing that Spence is going to retire Pacquiao, it seems though that he mellow his statements against the Manny specially after they have a photo shoot and some sort of media interview. I've read a lot of Spence interviews and it seems that he really respect Pacquiao. And se said that it will be like passing of the torch if he beats the legends.
