Are we entering bear market? How low will btc go in the coming year?

Looking to purchase some btc in the coming year and looking for the best time.
Sold all alts a few weeks back and will switch back into btc when the price is right.

Ideal would be around 12k, within a year from now. Do you think its possible or am i setting the bar too low to fast?
Is this just a half time dip in the cycle and we'll see another ath this year?


I'm bearish by nature and I have patience so I'm not rushing to buy right now, but I'm interested in what your views are.

I don't know where you get that prediction but for me it is completely wrong.Everyone is predicting the 100k bull run starting in Autumn this year but also this remains just a prediction.No one knows how the price will go but the recent history has shown us that Bitcoin has great potential and we are yet far from seeing it unlocked completely.My view is that the lowest it can go is 20k before bouncing back really strong so that 20k should be your buying point,again this is just my view and in crypto we all know how high the volatility is.

Now is the perfect moment to buy and fill your bag with Altcoins and Bitcoin. Almost all existing assets have experienced a very drastic decline against the USD, this allows everyone to have to buy more Bitcoin and altcoins to make a profit.

China is back in action again, and the impact is not much different from a few years ago after the halving. If you have assets in the form of cryptocurrency, don't sell now and wait about 3 years to enjoy very satisfying results.

I don't think that the price will go down to 10k or so. It seems like we will continue to see the price between 30k and 40k for some time more. To me, it won't go under 30k and it will start recovering again.

We yet don't know where exactly will the price dip to its bottom, the weekly chart hasn't yet show that it's been oversold which means it could still dip below $30k. Although this is being predicted already by some, there is also the possibility of a rise because of adoption.

If it can't hold on to its current range and the support on $29K breaks, its definitely unstoppable and we are in the bear market. $12k is possible and if FOMO doesn't come to you when it bounces back before it touches $12k then lucky you.

12k ? are you Insane ? Imagine that bitcoin had already reached 64,000$ and you are looking for 12k?

this will never come unless another Covid19 pandemic will happen and the whole world will be shaken.

I don't think that the price will go down to 10k or so. It seems like we will continue to see the price between 30k and 40k for some time more. To me, it won't go under 30k and it will start recovering again.

We did say that bitcoin will not go down below 50k but it did so I think that there is still a possibility that bitcoin will go down below 10k or so. And if that were to happen, we might expect a really pump than the last time.

Hehe yeah I wish for it. But an -80% from high to low isn't really that crazy looking historically, both 2015 and 2018 bull runs ended with -80% correction.
Now everyone will say its different this time, institutions, tesla etc etc yeah i don't really think so. People still have their greedy pants on right now that's why it seems unlikely but in 6-12 months of red candles things might change.

But what do I know, looking back in 6 months when btc is 200k I might laugh at myself for not buying at 30k, or if in 9 months when btc is 12k I think im a genius.

Hmm yes my initial plan was 20k but then I got a bit greedy. Perhaps you're right, perhaps I should put a buy order of 75% on 20k and 25% at the hope price of 12k.

I don't understand why you must be so rude? And fud? Im talking about buying btc...It's not my first bitcoin purchase, that is why I have patience and don't fomo in at any price. -80% has been seen many times before. Btc was 10k in September so it's not exactly a mad idea...

Thats very far from it, the market only tlmakes a few adjustments to ensure stability as a way of sustainability for the value attached to a commodity.

Yes off course it will increase in the upcoming days. You need to stay waiting and then it will rise again after some time then it should give you a benefit indeed and If you are not holding it yet then its up to you.

I agree with you on the $25k lowest price I believe Bitcoin will go even if it will still go down further. I understand we want to believe that the institutional investors might be able to do something about the market but do you really think they could? cos with them buying even much higher than this, the market still plunged this low so can they really influence it not to fall to $12k even though I don't think it will.

I try to play the long cycles, sell alt gains before hysteric peak, sit on cash for a couple of months and buy more btc when the price is right. I never sell btc.

It's just that it dipped approx 80% after the last bull runs so figured it would be a good entry in 6-12 months. I do believe btc will go to $1million within 20 years, so why you nagging about +-15k then? you may ask? The difference would be I would add twice as many btcs to my wallet if i get it for 15k instead of 30k.

Lowest is really that hard to predict , because if does then all of us will sell our coins and wait for that moment but sad is that we cannot make this righht.

Best to just try buying at 20k level, then at least 17k and if 12k downfall happened then its your lucky day.

but for now be observant and be ready, because any moment market will chance , either uptrend or downtrend no one really knows.
