Major League Soccer (MLS) is professional football league for 27 teams from United States and Canada who are divided in two groups Eastern and Western Conference.
Winner of this league will qualify for CONCACAF Champions League, but total of 14 top clubs will go in qualification Playoffs.
Season 2021 has started on April 16 and regular part will last until November 7, and play offs are finished on December 11.
Champion for last year was Columbus Crew, and Philadelphia Union won EasternConference, Sporting Kansas City won Western Conference.
Seattle Sounders started this season very good, they have best attack and no defeats so far, but currently best striker is Chicharito from Los Angeles Galaxy.

For me this league isnt that intresting even if Messi was there because there league is like the NBA only without the best players in the world. They got Messi but still its just a money league,you cannot get relegated or anything and most of the teams go into the playoffs so even if you are the best team in the league all regular season dosent mean you will win the title.

For the record though, Messi's contract with Inter Miami is a huge one. He will earn $60million a year and he also has a stake in Inter Miami. That's a very big deal.
Inter Miami are also making big moves aside securing Messi's signature. They have signed Barca legend Sergio Busquets and the trying to sign another Barca legend, Jordi Alba.
They have also hired Tata Motino as their new coach after sacking the disasters Neville who took them to the bottom of the table.
Next season looks promising for Inter Miami. lets see what they can achieve

Messi is an amazing player no doubt but the league is already playing hard and he isnt playing at all for Inter Miami. Inter is also terrible so far and are on the last place and i dont know how even Messi can help them. Messi is an utility player that will always shine if he just has one or two support. He showed this kind of talent at the last world cup by taking challenges to his soldier as they defeated France at the end. This time around, the fortunate thing is that he is not coming to Inter Miami alone, he is coming with a former team mate in Barcelona (Sagio Busquets) and also a former coach of Barcelona, Tata Martino who is already used to Messi both in Barcelona and Argentina. I do not agree that Mess would be forgotten since he has moved to the MLS. Maybe that's what he wants, but I doubt he's going to get it. So many people idolize Messi and he will never be forgotten even if he stops playing football today. Messi joining the MLS may not open doors to other players from Europe as it is in the Arabian league, but that is because the MLS doesn't have the kind of money the Arab league has to spend on players.

The quality of football in the MLS is definitely better than the quality of football in Saudi. It's not debatable.
The MLS has been mainstream for a while. The money might make the Saudi league popular but it won't necessarily increase the quality of football there, The South American leagues have a very high ceiling when it involves the quality of football but they don't have that much money.

Messi being MLS player has less with football and more with afterlife, he wants to settle down in Miami, and part of the contract is possibility for him to take down MLS license (to own a club in the league)
personally, I think that it is better decision that going to Saudi league to play just for money, but every player has his right to chose whatever he wants, both leagues will not bring competitive football after all

can't wait to see his start in Miami, they are lowest ranked team in the league after all, but eyeing several Barca players at the moment
