We are on Bearish market without a sign of reversal. So it's normal that price will go sideways to the known support and resistance which is the 30k and 40k respectively. There is no major news neither good nor bad that's why the price can't reach the confirmation point for the trend. It's better to scalp or short trade right now since the ATR is quite stable per day though.

I also wish for a bullrun market, but the market doesn't run as our wishes. I think you can easily predict the next bear market. The next bear market time will be shorter than running time. The same situation will happen during the bullrun. The next Bullrun market will be longer than the last bullrun market.

What point you buy your current holdings? Holding is good when you buy within the current range since you can still have a profit with minimal chance of last whichever direction price go. Just keep an eye on the support and resistance and make sure you will set stop loss if ever the price breaks the support since it will create a far longer bearish market. I'm still positive on Bitcoin but I already convert 70% of my asset to fiat and waiting for uptrend confirmation before I enter again.

Try margin trading if some your asset is in loss. You can use your losing asset to margin trade and you might recover it once the price moves up even without reaching your original buying price. Goodluck and trade safe.

^ Selling your coin under the price from where you purchase is an idiot move, nothing will lose if you still hold your coin. If you will own 1 BTC that will always 1 BTC. We don't know when the price will go up and begin a bull market, now considering a bear market was right but it does not mean you will sell it. Not all the time crypto market shows green in color, this was expected by the whales to have a red mark in the market because they are manipulating on it and making money, soon it will come back once they will be tired of manipulating about it.

Two big issues that caused the market to turn red again. Yeah... China has a very high volume in trading cryptocurrencies. Since China banned crypto it really affected the newly launch projects and some other big project in the market and some very bad tweets from elon musk about bitcoin. But elon musk not accepting it as Tesla means of payment is not among the issues that lead to the bearish market. And I don't even understand what happened today ethereum just dumped to 2.2k USD.

I think the announcement of China regarding its move against cryptocurrency has a huge effect on the current situation of cryptocurrency.  Aside from that those who wanted to accumulate at a low price see this opportunity to FUD the market and with their huge stash, they are able to crash the cryptocurrency market specifically the Bitcoin market.

Yes, Bulls cannot handle the momentum yet. I think they still want to get lower and have some sort of corrections so that we can prepare, all can prepare for the next stage of bullrun. I don't believe that its already finished. We need this correction to surpass the current all time high. Hold and add some good tokens in our bags is the best thing to do right now.

correction is always part of a healthy market. and so it is not surprising that we are experiencing now with the correction. though there are some negative news like the ones coming from china. but i guess, we are already used to this.
but don't forget some good developments like biden included in their 2022 budget the new crypto reporting proposals , which i believe, is a good one, because it means, they are now recognizing crypto as part of companies' or individuals' assets. so they are just providing some regulations on how to handle this matter.
and more companies are coming out to hold btc in their balance sheet, like Globant , but i guess there's more of them. this means, these companies are believing the potential of btc as part of their assets.
