El Salvador today is known as a Bitcoin City in the world due to the fact that El Salvador issued a legal notice on the acceptance of Bitcoin two years ago today, and on September 7th, 2021, it issued a policy on the acceptance of Bitcoin.

I think time has gone so fast. And it doesn't feel like it's been 2 years since El Salvador started using Bitcoin in their country as legal tender. And currently in Salvador it seems to be getting better. El Salvadorans' awareness of bitcoin has increased rapidly. Because there are lots of schools created there to teach about Bitcoin. But recently I haven't followed Nayib Bukele's movements regarding bitcoin accumulation. Has he adding again his bitcoin investment this year? Anyone knows?

El Salvador must be congratulated for such a day because they took such a great initiative on this very day. Accepting bitcoin as a legal document in his country was a difficult challenge for the country's president. If for some reason his action was wrong or people did not like his action then it would be very difficult for him to survive as president. Seeing him take such a challenging decision is what made Bitcoin so popular in El Salvador today. With Bitcoin, the people of El Salvador are now doing their daily tasks very easily. We don't live in Salvador so it's hard to know how things have changed since they accepted bitcoin as legal tender. But so far, there hasn't been a single negative news even as they and we go through this harsh bear season cycle. I was surfing Twitter to read the news and the interesting thing I just found is that they are still actively educating people about bitcoin, especially students in their country. That suggests things are going much better than we expected.

I'm not from Salvador so I don't know what they're saying, I hope someone here can tell us what they are talking about.

I think this is a good way of preaching the word of bitcoin. If more schools around the world, not only El Salvador tries this approach then we will see a huge change in no time. On the other hand, what has some couple of school kids got to offer? They still can't invest their their spare money now on Bitcoin. All they can do is to listen and gain knowledge about Bitcoin for the time being. Maybe pass these knowledge to older ones, who might be willing to use Bitcoin but don't knows how. When they are old enough then using Bitcoin would be a very simple task to them. Nice one El Salvador.

Sure, I wish there was a real person from there who explained how things really were. Maybe it will be more real. Because now with a period of 2 years I have read several digital media reporting that they have improved the economic situation. They have paid the debt. I thought that part of our criticisms and concerns about El Salvador is that it is not really clear how they are holding their bitcoin and/or how many they have exactly.. even though Bukele has made various tweets on the topic of various buys and including in around mid-November of last year Bukele announced that he (or El Salvador) is buying 1 BTC per day.

It is just more important for children who are still in school to listen and know about Bitcoin because they also don't have enough money to advance into the realm of buying Bitcoin. Meanwhile, for the parents of these children, I think it would be better if they were given socialization or understanding about Bitcoin so that this can run smoothly in every family. And in El Salvador I am sure this will continue to be done because the government's own concept is to channel knowledge about Bitcoin to all its citizens.

I just saw on social media today that El Salvador kids are being taught Bitcoin. Because a different thing about Bitcoin for children from a young age started in elementary education in El Salvador. This education from an early age will bring the best success for the child later in life as the child grows up. I also have a non-formal school which is currently still managed together with the Lhok Kaju English Center (LEC) community. Although I have not specifically included learning about bitcoin for them because the age of the students we have makes us reluctant to do so now.

I see that what El Salvador is doing can actually increase the interest of the younger generation in investing when they have entered adulthood and can be responsible for the decisions they make.

This is what makes me want to teach bitcoin education to the younger generation who join LEC, but unfortunately we can't do this yet because there will be many challenges if forced. If one day bitcoin reaches widespread adoption in my area then we have high hopes that we can make it happen.
