During bear market (before sideways market starts) you are best to hold only stable coins like USDT and wait for the bear market to end. When a sidewards market begins you can start to buy back your coins and tokens fast at a low price.

There's no altcoin that consistently stable/rise during dump season since the reason why some altcoin pump during bear market was major announcement or events of the project. Even BNB, FTT and KCS is not exempted to dump. But as you stated this kind utility token is very good to accumulate since its price depends on the exchange performance which is stable whether bear or bull market because everyone is still trading.

For me Bitcoin is the best coin to accumulate during the bear market since its the trend starter then convert to top 10 coin once Bitcoin already reach stable price.

During bear market everything will dump 80-100% and if we entered bear market ... it is a beginning of it and it will last few years. No matter how good the coin is. It is not true that utility tokens (influcind exchange tokens) will not dump since its utility based price is far lower than current pumped to the moon price.

Exchanges also suffers during bear market. Prices dumps, price action goes down, so volume do, so exchanges profits and tokens untility.

yes but it's still not enough to face the bear market. let's look back when bnb faced a bear market. at that time bnb fell from 35$ to 5$ during the 2018 crash market. although bnb had real uses, it was still not strong enough to withstand the pressures of a bear market.

If that is BNB, I would agree to hold during a bear market because that coin can increase back in the next bull run. Besides BNB, I will consider holding Ethereum as this coin is at the number two position and can grow. But BNB can be the choice to hold as the price is not too high compared to Ethereum, so we can still get many BNB for the investment. So two altcoin, Ethereum and BNB, will be my choice to hold during the bear market, and that coin is worth buying.

It's hard to determine which Altcoins are really worth paying attention to during a bear market. we are not sure to determine one factor before we see bitcoin-influenced price stability.

all will be careful to decide to hold altcoins. bear market will have a bad impact if you enter when the price is sharp downwards..

During bear market usualy no altcoin can  hold the bear. And thanks to crypto community they already have USDT and other stable coin. So in my opinion the best altcoin is stable coin during bear market. Or if you still want to get momentum to profit in sats you can buy some new legit ICO. So when the bear is out of market you can get optimal gain from bitcoin.

BNB is the best among all. Then you can go with CAKE, HT (Huobi Token), KCS (kucoin shares), OKT (okex). Not sure about FTT, but i'm not too interested to buy that token. if I personally will definitely choose to invest in bitcoin, because the price of bitcoin will definitely increase and of course investing in bitcoin is safer than investing in altcoin, so of course you will definitely get profit by investing in bitcoin and now is the right time to invest in bitcoin before the price of bitcoin increase very high again (create a new ATH price).

I guess you did not think about the other side? Although exchanges make our job easier, they are one of the most dangerous places as you know. MAybe in the coming hours, someone will attack Binance, and this will cause destruction of the exchange and definitely its coin, and most importantly this is a possible possibility, and there is little chance of such hacking in projects that are not based on online platforms. That is why I suggest you do not choose based on today's price(I guess you are fascinated by recent price increases).

It's always prefer to hold bitcoin all the time bear or bullish.

Since you asking about altcoins. I will suggest the first option of holding in bear market is USDT or other stable coins. And second choice could be ETHEREUM. But in this case you must have the intention of holding it for atleast some years. And don't sell it in lose.

It must be a good hold token like this ETH. However this could not be a bear market yet because if it is, the price of BTC could have plummeted below $25,000 already.
