Money is not the root of all evil if you will just treat money as to take its real purpose and usage of why it was created. The problem is that money got involved into those people who was possessed by greed making them to think and to act like evil doers that will do anything for the sake of obtaining money. Greed infused with power and influence by a certain person or a group of people wanting to gain more money creates more evil for the range of possible things they can do for money. It is the people's greed that makes evil in the society and not money alone.

Money was introduced to make life easier for men as for exchange purposes but then, the way people hoard it, especially the government and high status people in our society has made it a weapon for which the poor wishes to escape using any means available. The evil is the man not the money. Money did no wrong but the wicked heart of man is where the evil is cultivated. The creation of scarcity and the conditions for which money could be acquired is where the sides to the story becomes dirty and ugly.
There would always be evil in our world and money isn't what is going to bring it, it might propel it but, its not the origin of it. Men are!

It is often said that the biggest difference between the rich and the poor has it origin from the mindset.
One major question that always borders me is "are we created with different mindset at birth and what role does environmental factors have to place on mindset of an individual".

When we do talk about religion it has a long way of debating to choose what or who is right because it differs from everyone's beliefs. I think it depends on who you would ask for this question because I think it depends on who the person you are talking. Let's say you ask a priest of course, you'll expect the answer would be carried out from the bible but if you ask a businessman like Steve Jobs or Bill Gates, I don't think they will refer to the bible since they were atheist. So expect that they give you a reasonable explanation on to why money is important and why do you think or ask money is the root of all evil.

I know what is the problem with the poor people. I am by no means rich (instead I would classify myself as middleclass), but I would speak against romanticizing the so called "poor". From my conversations with this group of people, I could find that they are mostly driven by jealousy and hatred towards the successful people. They want the government to confiscate the wealth of the rich by increasing the taxes to 80% or 90%, and then distribute this money as handouts to the "poor". In an utopian world, that would be the ultimate solution to keep everyone happy, but in real life if the government do that, then it will just destroy the economy and in the end the poor people will be in an even worse position.

i am poor and i dont think money is a root of evil ,for me money is an ambition , to get anything i want , and mostly i am happy after get what i want and sometimes i feel greedy . to get your ambition , u must think how to get it without bothering others.

People who sell "drugs" are two different groups, one is selling drugs that are legal in some nations and illegal in some, for example weed is allowed in certain nations and it is totally fine, but if you sell it in an illegal nation then you are a criminal, that makes no sense at all, why is it a crime in some nations? Purely politician by politicians who got paid by people to make it illegal.

Secondly do you really think that people would turn to crime if they were paid decently? All the criminals in the world do it because they lack funds, if you give people basic income so that they do not starve or become homeless, they will not turn to crime and you will drop the crime rate. Plus all the criminals in the world could combine their whole wealth together (from huge mafia boss' to small scammers) and it wouldn't even get close to what Banks steal from public every day.

We always have a choice, either you have a money or none at all if you're a bad person you are still a bad person but if you appreciate every little things in your life, work for your own sake and the people around you, then you'll see money on a different way. You have to understand why you are working to earn money, that should be the first thing you remember every time you make money so that you wont waste it. Sometimes contentment and being happy on what we have and how we see things reflects who we are. Its been a old saying but we really need to have money but not to make sin but to live. Money is not the root of all evil, it's the mindset of the people that makes it bad. Even those millionares since birth still opted to do evilness becaus of their own greed. So greed and jealousy is the main root of all evilness.

In fact, we should be more grateful if we are blessed with a vast amount of money so we should never use it to do bad things or make it as a motivation to end up doing bad things to others. It's definitely a good feeling living your life financially free.

Many people just change their reputation and even destroy it because of money. It is a sort of greediness that lives inside and controls their minds. This has been often seeing nowadays. Corruption and market manipulations are two examples of how people had changed due to hungry for money. They wanted it all and they wanted to take control of other's wealth.

I have to believe that rich people become richer as they have the capabilities to make evil things. And these corrupt leaders could be easier to feed of money just to hide the wrongdoings of the rich people.
