This is generally a misconception. But, well, it depends on how you interpret it. Basically, it presupposes that people are doing everything for money itself. I mean, they are willing to cheat for money, step on someone's toes for money, even kill for money. That's what we see everyday. Wealthy people are shirking tax responsibilities. Government officials, although already rich, are into corruption and plundering the nation's wealth. Law enforcers are accepting bribes. Companies are not paying staff and worker well. On the ground, ordinary people are also doing their own stealing and cheating for money.

But I personally don't think this is all about money itself. It is more about people than money. I mean, yeah, money could make you do whatever you want, but it's one thing to have lots of it and feel empty and another to have just enough and feel genuinely satisfied.

If you think realistically, in most countries the times people get everything provided for (essentially "free") is healthcare, the military and prisons.

A prisoner gets around £40+k spent on them a year, comparing that to a common working class person making £26k, it seems kinda strange. The prisoner might get all their meals, a sognle parent potentially won't.
The military is also seen as a socialist backup plan to give people jobs who might be out of work (afaik the lower ranks are treated like scum by officers who rank above them in most places).
The healthcare part seems self explanatory too from the above two points...

I don't care about the idea for things like a universal basic income because it will probably go to waste, universal basic food - however - is something I see as probably easy to implement that'd cost around £1200 at most per person too unless the means of production was done by the government. Housing people at £6000/$9000 per unit and £1000/$1300 annually for bills seems like it'd be a reasonable ask for people to get if they're unemployed or on a low wage.

The assumptions have been that people wouldn't strive for better after getting these sorts of benefits but 1) if a country can sustain itself on its own then that doesn't really matter and 2) do you expect people to not have more children under such a system if they knew they'd always have money and shelter 3) why are people booking holidays and making other large spends generally? If the only reason people work is to survive/accumulate wealth, are they not also after a life experience they'd get from working and having a disposable income they can spend on other things?

It's not the root of evil. Bible tends to exaggerate things when Jesus himself isn't poor. Didn't Joseph pay taxes that's why they end up in Jerusalem and Carpenter during that time is equivalent to the engineers of today? There are also good people who use the money to help. I hear this saying most of the time and i think it's wrong to assume that money is the root of all evil. First of all, money is a thing that has no free will and cannot act upon itself. It's such a shame if we'll put the blame all on money when in fact, people are the ones acting on their emotions and needs.

People having a bussiness goal are those who usually have more profit and tend to become wealthier than those people that tend to spend much often. However, we can't also assume that those people that spend for vacation are lesser because I think it's also wise to spend on your mental health.

But if people will just keep on putting all their hopes to their God without acting on it, it will all just be worthless. Prayer without action has no use. You have to pour your effort, time, and sacrifice some things in order to achieve your goals. Faith and hope will surely keep you on track, but always have a plan and execute it as well. You can't be spoonfed everytime.

Yes it is. People still think that there is this "motivation" aspect but the reality is that motivation should not come at the expense of ruthlessness. Look at amazon for example, worlds 4th biggest company as far as I know. Well I am not against that, however what about workers who have to take a toilet break into bottles or stuff? I care to disagree, the mindset largely depends on the person, their ambition, and creativity, not only the origin. Moreover, sometimes the effect is quite the opposite of what you've described.

The poor people often want to get out of their current state and, thus, they have a much stronger ambition and motivation to learn, to work hard, and to become successful.

Finally, that's really the biggest difference but do you know the root of that difference? When kid borns in a poor family and the education level of that family is low, the kid becomes similar of them and shares the same vision as them. Poor people usually have the wrong vision and very low level of education because it's easier to manipulate with uneducated and poor people, so, the government prefers people to be poor. The kid that is raised in such family, usually ends up being similar of them and that cycle goes on and on. Plus add the fact that poor people are more religious and believe that if they are poor in this world, will live better in the afterlife.

Also, there is another fact: In a world of capitalism, how can the poor escape from poverty? It's very hard and only very hardworking ones escape.

When we do talk about religion it has a long way of debating to choose what or who is right because it differs from everyone's beliefs. I think it depends on who you would ask for this question because I think it depends on who the person you are talking. I know what is the problem with the poor people. I am by no means rich (instead I would classify myself as middleclass), but I would speak against romanticizing the so called "poor". From my conversations with this group of people, I could find that they are mostly driven by jealousy and hatred towards the successful people. They want the government to confiscate the wealth of the rich by increasing the taxes to 80% or 90%, and then distribute this money as handouts to the "poor". In an utopian world, that would be the ultimate solution to keep everyone happy, but in real life if the government do that, then it will just destroy the economy and in the end the poor people will be in an even worse position.

This phrase is actually extremely old and cane from the feudalism when the peasants were convinced about negative effect of the money in order not to think about it and keep on working the land for the feudal free of charge. I really could do that, at the school I studied there were teachings of how to spot a ponzi scheme (or many other schemes) and not fall for it, however that also allows people to learn about what people look for when spotting it and covering those bases as well so you learn to be a scammer technically, or how scammers get caught to be more precise. Loving money for me isn't really evil and I would have to agree with you on that. Everyone would love to be able to put food on the plate without having to worry the next day, everyone would love to be enabled. It's how you use that money that makes you evil or not. It just depends on everyone who uses it. when people treat money as a tool for evil yes it will be like that but when people hurt it as commonplace as is often the case, i think money is evil.
what makes money evil is that some people use the money for crime and fraud.

According to what I have experienced  and seen is people being careless with life, such as some one buying a fast car and they push to the limit and it ends up taking their life, and the conclusion to this sad ending is somone having money. Indeed. It was really the mentality of a person and it's nature because what they have seen by other's, they might do it also or copy it. Today's society is governed by money and through money people become rich and poor and as we can observe, in every activity there is a corruption through money. Money is not the root of all evils because there are lot of poor people that even they don't have a lot of money but they are happy with the presence of their family. It is often said that the biggest difference between the rich and the poor has it origin from the mindset.
One major question that always borders me is "are we created with different mindset at birth and what role does environmental factors have to place on mindset of an individual".

I agree with what you said about the difference between rich and poor is about mindset. If a person set a positive mindset everything can fall into place. Most poor are stuck on poverty because of their negative mindset and because of that they limit themselves in anything that they can do. yes it is true because basically it is as a means of transaction in life, only that nothing more.
What makes money very important in life is of course human intervention and consciously or unconsciously, humans as facilitators make money depend on their desires and one of them is money as a crime itself.

Money can't be the root of evil but the love of it. Once you get entangled with making money at all cost you begin to nurse diverse ideas in your mind and since there is this desperation in your heart you wouldn't mind what it will cost you to make the money even if a life has to go in for it you no longer care because all you can picture is you having the money in your possession. Yup, Money is just a tool of transaction which is legal to be a medium of payment and exchange.  I dont agree if a tool is blamed as the root of problem.  For example, when the motorcycle and car was invented then the amount of accident is large, whather the car or the motorcycle is the root of problems?  is it true?  I don't think so
