Only to those who haven't get their wishes in life despite on having lots of money are those having those kind of lines where money cant buy happiness but I agree that almost everything can be bought by money because people are naturally materialistic which most of the time where we do aim for material things in life which
do mainly make us happy and other will really be just next in line.It is really hard to believe on that money isn't the root of everything but of course you would really be
wise on handling it because there would be always pro's and con's on handling out your funds so better be careful and wont really be making yourself dragged off too much.

We all have known that money is power but it never can buy happiness. Though money can't buy happiness but without money you can't be die snugly because the all stages of life money plays a vital role so don't waste your time for money but must try to make money whatever you need.

It kind of depends on the person doesn't it? I have a friend who doesn't make even remotely close to what I do, he is working for minimum wage, and he is actually saving money aside and bought his first car during pandemic. How? Well dude is single and I am married, dude lives in a crappy studio apartment which he renovated and looks better now but it is still in a shitty place in a shitty apartment, and he pays very little rent, he doesn't go out to do anything and he loves gaming (well I do too but I go out too) and basically all he does is go to work, come home, play pc games, eat and sleep that's it.

This guy is happy without money, but I would be killing myself if that is the limits of my life, I would need to do something eventually, I love that he just plays games because he loves and he should do that, but just because he can, doesn't mean I should too. Hence "happiness" is not something set, everyone finds it somewhere else.

There is a popular opinion in the locale that "A man who has money doesn't easily get angry or offended, lol". This statement goes the other way as well, that "A man who doesn't have money is easily offended by everything and everyone".

I have put this statement on analysis a lot in mind, trying to watch my mood and correlate my happiness with the amount of money I have each time. Everytime it seems like i have overspent and almost becoming broke, there is a feeling of irritation and sadness that comes with it. Also when i get some credit alerts, there is an associated joy.

I know it is not proper to tie your happiness to finance, but i did some research into the subject and found a study that was conducted with the result that happiness increases with the amount of money one makes up until a point  where there is no greater degree of happiness from making money, but unhappiness if ones income drops beneath that range.

What is your opinion on the subject of "money & happiness"?

I think a very good example is to think about the super rich people. Let's take Bill Gates.

If he goes down in wealth from $130 billion to $65 billion, cutting his wealth in half hitting the lowest point of the market and the economy, you won't see Bill Gates drop a single tear or even have a sad face. Because it doesn't matter.
It simply doesn't matter for him.

Same for Elon Musk when the newspapers say he gained or lost $20 billion in a week. He doesn't care, it doesn't matter whether he loses 10 or 20% in a week, even 70% wouldn't matter.

For everyone else in normal and lower income classes, I am sure you would see a lot of sad faces and tears, maybe even suicides if it's of existential relevance when you lose 50% of your income out of a sudden. There is a point where money is about pleasure only, and not of existential relevance anymore. It's kind of comparable to Maslow's hierarchy of needs, you can check that out on Wikipedia.

The other way around, money has nothing to do with happiness if you have the will to remain and feel satisfied no matter what happens. It's the person with responsibilities who would be worried about money to give a good lifestyle to his/her family but if someone's alone and don't get money (kind of pocket money) even from home (a student maybe) but he's satisfied with everything and can adjust according to times, then he can manage everything and his mood won't be affected by this.

Good topic that I have discussed multiple times in my mind.

First of all, happiness is a very individual task, there are things that make some people happy and the opposite. But you have to understand how our brain works. If you or anyone in this world is happy that's because of the hormones that are in our branes like: Dopamine, Serotonin, Oxytocin (love), Endorphins. Certain actions make us to release certain hormones and the happy feeling is different from them but the feel is actually happiness.
Dopamine is associated with euphoria, stimulus, memory, learning, focus, attention, confidence, etc. Overall, it's what motivates us, what makes us confident, charismatic, active... It's my favorite hormone!
Serotonin is associated with happiness, well-being. Believe it or not, serotonin mostly is in our gut. Btw I still prefer Dopamine!
Oxytocin is associated with love, pure love, this is how love feels and this is love itself. When you hug someone, when you see loved ones, when you kiss, your brain releases Oxytocin and that feels good too. It's also trust hormone, you trust those who you love, right?
Endorphins - I guess almost everyone knows Endorphins, it's often said that you release them during sex. Endorphins make us happy and kill the pain but at the same time, that's more likely because they bind to receptors of the central nervous system and release the Dopamine.

So, I would say that money can buy you happiness because you can buy the substances that directly work on these hormones and can make you happy like never before but at the same time that's not real happiness, that's manually caused, i.e. fake happiness that lasts for some hours with the crash.

We all know the happiness that money can bring to your life and that's why many are working for it at first and later on, they let their own money work for them. Money can do everything and it can help a lot of people especially on a time like this where we are on a pandemic. Happiness is something that you can have even if you have no money, we all have this when we are a child but when the responsibilities comes in, we have to start working now for the money.

It sounds a bit odd to me if you say that happiness is the result of will power or a question of your own will. Maybe conviction, but will or will power I don't know. Satisfaction is a question of education, understanding what's good and what's bad and also to appreciate what you have instead of permanently missing what you don't have. That's a process.

I agree with you, the meaning in life is how we are grateful for what we have. If the measure is how much money to control one's emotions, of course this is difficult to measure. This all goes back to each individual, but what needs to be underlined is Gratitude.

Money is like fuel that can power an engine that can help fulfill your desires and ultimately bring you happiness. But the concept of happiness is quite ephemeral and does not lend itself to strict accounting or measurement and is strictly individual for each person. History knows many cases when people gave up their jobs and careers or got rid of wealth and money because it did not bring them moral satisfaction and a sense of happiness. Happiness can bring a lot of things and the absolute majority of them are not directly related to money, so do not substitute the concepts of money and happiness.

Happiness comes in different forms and sizes and the ones who can achieve happiness are not the ones who seek for it, but the ones who want it and will do anything for it. Its just a matter of contentment. Even if you're somehow poor you can still be happy as long as theres air in your lungs,your family is complete, you still have food in your table then theres still reasons for you to be happy. What is your opinion on the subject of "money & happiness"?

 For me in my own word about on the subject Money is practically we need to be happy ,money is everything that every body blind on this, but beside that money can create crimes due that some criminal abuse it on stealing money. It was meaningful the word of happiness in money but in the back of that people ruined it. Therefore the happiness are different from money happiness, cause the real happiness are can not buy any treasures or value even we can not spend expensive money but we can spent our love in our love ones to make a real happiness that we always wanted.

everyone has a different opinion about happiness, some are happy even though they don't have a lot of money there are also those who are happy just having a lot of money.
for me, if we have money we will be able to get that happiness because by having money we can buy what we want so that we can make ourselves happy. without a lot of money maybe we can be happy but it will be even happier if we have a lot of money.
