In my personal opinion and the happiness that I actually feel is when we are with the people we love under any circumstances, and money is only a complement because it can buy or make what we want with the people we love will be happier.
so both are very important and complementary, and but if we don't have much money and we are with our loved ones it can still make us feel happy because we are with happy people. And if we have a lot of money and we are not with the people we love, it will do us no good and we become lonely. that's how i feel.

It seems you can't read and interpret well what I mean, I mean money can't buy happiness because we can get happiness in any way including with the people we love.

I am quite happy with the proverb you say and I myself agree with it.
for now, i really don't believe there are people who are really happy even though they don't have money and their finances are not enough for their daily needs.

The whole definition of the analogy of money and happiness is subjective to each person. From my point of view, I'll have to disagree with the previous poster, money doesn't solely provide you with pure happiness in life. You will eventually feel lonely, most connections will be influenced from money and won't actually be meaningful.

We need a little bit of both, you need money to live comfortably, but you need other ideals to lead you to a happy life, money itself won't do it.

honestly not happy ,what if there is a situation of starvation because there is no money in a family ? Happiness is money ! we are required to have a "money" I'm surrounded by close friends because my money is always borrowed without being returned ,but I'm glad it doesn't matter because I'm the luckiest part of the my circle so I can also help a little from their economy ! as a result they (my friends) are happy to get money ,I'm also happy to be able to help so clearly money is happiness ,without money it's just a dream ^{I won't be angry ,just different opinions ,sorry I can't read I only read based on the gist}

Only the most basic needs are required, and the rest are merely for our satisfaction, which may or may not bring us happiness. Consider those who are wealthy but do not have children. There is a popular opinion in the locale that "A man who has money doesn't easily get angry or offended, lol". This statement goes the other way as well, that "A man who doesn't have money is easily offended by everything and everyone".

I have put this statement on analysis a lot in mind, trying to watch my mood and correlate my happiness with the amount of money I have each time. Everytime it seems like i have overspent and almost becoming broke, there is a feeling of irritation and sadness that comes with it. Also when i get some credit alerts, there is an associated joy.

I know it is not proper to tie your happiness to finance, but i did some research into the subject and found a study that was conducted with the result that happiness increases with the amount of money one makes up until a point  where there is no greater degree of happiness from making money, but unhappiness if ones income drops beneath that range.

A lot of my friends said that you can't be happy just because of money.

They are somewhat correct. But the same realization as you, I felt that money is needed for us to become happy.
I also get easily irritated if I felt that my cash flow is

Almost all people say that money can not buy happiness, but it depends. For example, if someone leaves you without any reason, you can not get them back to your life with the money.

In contrast, even having a lot of money doesn't mean you are rich. If you do not have satisfaction, or people to share the good times with, money and all the wealth loses their value. Being rich a lot of people will stick with you but the majority of these people are only with you for the good times and not through the bad times. In this state, I can only say you are poor.

Permit me to totally disagree with you, money is not happiness, money is money and happiness is happiness, but people often make the mistake of thinking its money that buys happiness, without money, who ever choose to be happy can still be happy, and even with alot of money, alot of people are still living their lives in misery.

If we could turn back the hands of time, I did tell you to go back in time and search our fore fathers, they were poor, lived what we see today as a wretched and misery life, a life of lack and want, but surprisingly, they lived there lives happier than we live ours today, even with all the money, our forefathers live longer than we live today even though they lacked social amenities and live in poor environments.

really strong words which really have a point on which not all the time if you have money then you'll guarantee to be happy since most of i known is they are rich but a lot of problems within their family. i think every wealth leads to other things. Actually money and happiness are related. If you argue between those who say money is not happiness and vice versa, I don't think you will find common ground.
