I have the same idea with you. I think that this is not the right time to even think about selling our coins if we invested into Bitcoin especially not much time ago. We should be patient considering the long term also. Maybe even in less than one year, we will see Bitcoin price going over $100k level. It is expected at the end of the year in the worst case actually but we will see. If we don't see an early bull run, it can be impossible.

I read on Twitter yesterday that the last Bitcoin will take the entire planet 40 years to mine. One would be wise to keep that in mind when spending theirs. For some reason that really made me think. I admired your dedication but if i did followed you , Sure that i will never make my funds almost double just like now.

i have sold my coins at 53,000 level in which i almost regretted because the price went up to 64k , but i managed to keep it waiting until the dumping ends at 28,000 in which i bought at 30k .
so now that Bitcoin back at 50k more so i am more than 70% gain and still climbing .

I am agree with what OP's opinion, as per today Bitcoin has reached $51k wich is good sign to continue bullrun, the main target $100k is more closer now with good  news along with it.
I still think positively about the target, china and america fud is no longer have bad affect since they are too often lying about that. People now smarter than before, and the whales couldnt do that trick anymore to buy the dip, cheers for our courage!

very true now continue to be patient do not be tempted by the current price or profit because one day the price will be even higher. to control emotions that want to get as much profit and as quickly as possible is very difficult but at that time it must be done for the sake of much greater profits in the future.

Trading is not a bad thing and nobody says you should not do it. However the difference is that price could have been 70k instead of just 64k, it could have been 100k, it could have never crash below 53k and you would be in a big loss right now. You were a good trader and got lucky a bit as well and thanks to that you have made a great profit, but not all of us can make the same thing. You have to realize that there are many people who do not know when to buy and when to sell, it is just how we are and we can't make that kind of money like you can.

It means that there is only one option left for us, we could just simply buy and hold and eventually we will make a profit, just because it was recent doesn't mean that 64k or so is not the only point people bought, I have bought a lot more and I made nearly 9x profit since I bought so it is really not a bad return neither.

Considering how we went from 10k to 64k just a year ago to last April/May, that means we could always go higher and higher, that was a huge increase and x6 increase as well. The bottom this year was 30k and the x6 higher of it is 180k. I am not saying we will reach that price, but 100k is the magical number that everyone is waiting for, when it reaches there I am 90% sure that the price will crash as well because people are waiting for that and want to sell at that price, not everyone but certainly more people want to than any other price.

We are certainly at grabbing reach for it, just another 2x and we will be there, considering we did x6 in a similar time period, then I am sure we could do that as well. It is definitely something we can achieve only if there is a bull run, the reach is there, we just need to believe in ourselves to do that.

I would not say 180k, I said "even 180k is possible but 100k is more probable" basically. We had a 3x from September of last year to January of this year, meaning by the time we reach to January of 2022 then we could probably reach to 100k as well, would be a lot simpler.

Bull runs in crypto is something marvelous, it is something that people are shocked each time it happens, we can't really just let it be because it will definitely be difficult to just watch it, so everyone gets in as well. At the end of the day, bitcoin is doing fine, even if not at 180k, we could be doing fine and that is the important part, as long as we are going up I do not care where we are going up, it could be a very small and slow increase over time and I would still be very happy about it.

If you look at the bitcoin price that is blushing today, holding is the right attitude for us to do, but not all traders dare to take that risk, but for sure we all have our own management in controlling our asset portfolio in the market, but for those of us who believe that if Bitcoin is strong fundamental, then choosing to hold could be the best way and this attitude is based on the volatile nature of Bitcoin and often experiences price fluctuations.

I believe that people who do not hold and end up selling during this period will be losers and will be crying when they see bitcoin at 50k+ again in a week or at most two weeks. We had these type of drops twice already and this is the third time, which is why I do not believe that it is something extraordinary that we didn't see coming. I could see these drops coming from a mile away, do not know the timing of it because if I did then I would be rich, but I knew that it would happen.

The only reason to sell would be to sell before the drop, since the drop already happened then there is no point in selling right now. I personally believe that we should totally keep this going as long as possible without selling. Let others sell and you will be doing better. I personally feel fine right now, this drop is definitely not close to being big enough to make me sell.

today bitcoin managed to break the resistance line that is $50k. i hope the price will continue to increase and break the ATH which is $64k. if bitcoin is able to cross that line I'm pretty sure $100k is very easy to achieve. but I'm still quite worried about the current price because a few times bitcoin was able to break $50k and it didn't last long.

Btc has being volatile and 50k is the resistance which it keeps breaking it. But every fall is an opportunity to keep buying it and make some profits in short term and speculators. May be some time before it takes a big leap and rebounces back to 60k range.

For a long term investment, i advice you to buy at this price or even if it gets higher because bitcoin will rise more sooner or later. And this is why the bear market is the opportunity for whales to own more and more bitcoins.
From another side, i think the dump is about to continue and may resist above 30,000$ for a long period (maybe won't rise until the end of the year) so for short term investments, i think it's so risky to get benefits in a short period. Even if the dump period might continue to unknown limits, i still advice holders not to sell because they will surely regret it like it happened several times [See the two ATH from 2013 and 2017 and check the charts to conclude how much people lost when sell it at the ATH prices leading just by fear that it will decrease] .

Thing I would draw from most whales or large buyers is they are likely leveraged and sellers during pullbacks, if you allow them to buy back the BTC cheap they will benefit from every down trend.   Gradually a leveraged buyer with infinite fiat currency via central banking will take over every industry for sale because money is so cheap & unfairly distributed to the largest dealers of debt it allows them to buy everything else more cheaply then it appears.
  Its part of what keeps the working man with skills and hard work a poor person and the richest paying the least tax because they are closest to the printing presses.  It does seem best to always stay net long; be careful with trading and selling out during what is a bullish period over years.

In the short time I have been here, I have learned one thing: No matter how much you plan and analyze, you will rarely predict the right moment to sell and you will almost never buy at the bottom of a dip. The price of Bitcoin, which had risen to $52K a few days ago, now has to go down and play in the $45K range and of course, with this decline make bitcoin holders who bought at high prices were confused, whether to sell or keep holding and of course that's all depending on the choice of each person, But I personally believe that bitcoin will soon experience a price increase and of course I will prefer to hold it rather than sell it at a low price condition now.
