Spirit needs a massive overhauld of this roster honestly. Not gonna shit on Batyuk since he's just standing in, but man, if Spirit has any aspirations of winning something relevant this season, panto needs to go. The ammount of missplays, misspositionings, spell choking is unreal. Mistake after mistake. Panto is singlehandedly holding Spirit  back.

Don't mean to brag but... i was right. It was obvious. panto massively underperformed.

He's gone. I was not expecting rue to move to pos5 and get not me as 4. Not me is a good player, but i don't know how he will do against tier 1 teams yet. Seems like a permanent move, not just standing in. Promising player with alot to prove.

It also seems Wisper left ex-Heroic. Kinda expected, as the only thing holding him on that team was the contract. He was the only one voting against Scofield's kick, and he was really upset with his kick. Not surprising he left the team. Batyuk will be standing in for Dreamleague. Won't be surprised if Frank gets kicked from PlayTime, so Wisper can join.

Give 100%. 110% is impossible. Only idiots recommend that.

The grand final for the Essence tournament is now live, and will be backing Parivision to sweep since the odds are too juiced for the moneyline and -1.5 map handicap. If only PlayTime hadn't underperformed earlier in the lower bracket final, then the odds might've been closer.

Oh wow. I haven't even noticed that lol. But let's be honest. 40k for the first place is almost irrelevant. Imagine a Chinese, SEA or South American team wins the tournament(very unlikely). Does 40k even cover the costs of a 1month bootcamp in europe? Because Dreamleagues are the longest tournaments of the year in Dota.
I've got no clue how much the bootcamps cost for teams, but if the teams can qualify through all their events, then it's probably enough, because ESL hosts DreamLeague tournaments a bunch of times, plus an ESL One tournament before they wrap the whole thing with the Esports World Cup.
So how did this bet for Parivision and the -2.5 handicap pan out?
Thought you would of taken the -1.5 maps instead for a less risky bet. Undecided

Surprised to see two series being played like this but it is in the final stages for the PGL Astana tournament where the Mongolz will be playing against Aurora.

For the IEM Atlanta tournament FUT just keep on rolling on with their win against NRG in yesterday's matches.
Today we will see the following being played:
BC.Game vs B8
Faze vs NRG
Betboom vs Vitality
Navi vs GamerLegion
Legacy vs Astralis
FUT vs paiN
Liquid vs M80
Passion UA vs SiNNERS

For the major tournaments, there's also the org prizes but they're not that much but still a good motivation that aside from the portion from the total prize earning of the team, a certain prize goes to the orgs depending on their ending place.  Like this upcoming Dreamleague.

But I agree that it's going to keep the orgs alive if they end up with the same prize amount for all teams, ending last and first.

Oh wow. I haven't even noticed that lol. But let's be honest. 40k for the first place is almost irrelevant. Imagine a Chinese, SEA or South American team wins the tournament(very unlikely). I am very curious to see Team Spirit roster announced for Dreamleague. Strong rumours going around saying Panto was kicked. aik or rein to be the replacement. If it is aik, it will be the old Yellow submarine roster support duo. aik and rue.
It's now an issue for these orgs if they can keep up their rosters because of how unprofitable most of them are and how expensive it is they pay their players. There has to be a revamp on the salaries so that the orgs can keep their roster and won't leave the dota 2 pro scene. It's quite late for me to reply on this but I guess you've seen already the changes on Team Spirit's roster and there's no more panto. As we start on the day 1 for the group stage, here are the participating teams.

Surprised with that result. Whenever I bet on dota2 matches they always endup with the other side getting atleast a map and the match usually ends in a draw. Grin
Good to hear it was a clear and cut victory for Parivision with ralle14's bet where they mentioned before the match began he was going to be smashing them.

Talking about smashing one's opponent, did anyone see Betboom up end Vitality in the IEM?
I only witnessed the final map where they were 11-8 and only 2 rounds to go for that major upset to happen.
Now they are on their way to the playoffs.

That grand final matchup was like tier 2 vs tier 1, so I didn't hesitate to pull the trigger on the sweep.  Cheesy

As for the upset from BB, I missed that one since I was mostly focused on PGL Astana. Still, this is the Vitality that hasn't done much preparation after their run at Blast Fort Worth, so it's not that crazy to see them struggle this badly on the T side.

FaZe is fucked in the lower bracket, but we could see an early playoff rematch between NaVi and Vitality, assuming NaVi takes the top seed in Group B.

The first match which was set to play at the map of  Rondo. And 4thrives(Pakistan) found the chicken dinner here, got  the number 1 rank. They had some early fights, played aggresively as after the game the hero came in the stage ioQ and he said our plan was simple to play aggressive.

Falak killed early  but later he got eliminated and after some time T24 sit on the car to escape but it was ran out of the petrol results the opponent killed him. At the end when the game was so intense between Pakistan 2 players and Nepal 2 players,  use of grande was massive by Huzaifa.

Today is that day for the rematch and according to the odds makers they are siding with Team Vitality.
They did get stomped and it was no contest but maybe that fall to Betboom earlier might have soften them up for this matchup against Navi. We will need to wait after paiN gaming and GamerLegion finish there match up first in Atlanta.

This is for DreamLeague season 29? Only watched a few minutes of a match just too see some action from this tournament.

We have 16 teams from three different nations, and if we talk about the roadmap for the big PGMO that is going to be held from the 2nd of June in Indonesia, where many teams will participate, from these three teams out of 16 will go for that big event.

On the other hand, the point system is simple as that, one kill = one point. While if we talk about the placement in the matches, the team that dominates the match will get 10 points, the second one will have 6 points, the third one will have 5, and below is respectively. The team who comes below number 8 will have no points.

An update after the day 2 of Dream League for dota 2. I wasn't expecting Aurora to be struggling like this. In the past tournaments, they're one of the best runners every group stage. Maybe the patch did the thing? and as for Team Falcons, I've watched their games and they're giving absolute beautiful dota. I advice you guys to watch their upcoming games because even if a game comes to them to lose, they're giving a hard time to their opponents.

Maybe the patch did the thing? and as for Team Falcons, I've watched their games and they're giving absolute beautiful dota. I advice you guys to watch their upcoming games because even if a game comes to them to lose, they're giving a hard time to their opponents.

Aurora faced strong teams on day one and day two so if they keep losing on day three, then maybe what you said is true, the patch probably nerf them or they’re just exhausted. Today Aurora is going to face ex-Heroic and GL, if they keep their spirit and their focus, I believe they can turn things from 0-3 to 4-3.

Btw, it’s hard to watch all the matches one by one. I’ll probably just watch my favorite team for now because once the games start since it’s impossible to watch all 4 streams at the same time  Tongue.

Dear Gamerlegion, fuck you. .l.

I was already oiling my schlong, in celebration of the big win. I put 610 bucks on 4.3 odds on Gamerlegion.
I was already making reservations for tonight's big feast at my local restaurant. It was gonna be caviar day.
This garabage team decides to throw a 40k gold lead.
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Ouch @T1HGO !  Angry

That seems like alot to put on a single Esports match. But I know the loss too. Put nearly $1250 on a CS2 match earlier in the year and it was at very low odds for a major favorite to win who were up by 8 rounds.

Talking about CounterStrike, just watching this 9z Globant vs Magic match for the Astana tournament.
Never heard of this Magic team before but they are causing 9z troubles on ancient right now who are in the lead 12-11.
So overtime is secured for this new team against 9z who beat some tier 1 teams in this tournament already.

Today I think it was the day for the Nepali teams, they way they dominated from the start and especially Horaa E sports and T2K players were so amazing, they made huge comeback and at the same time, they tried their best in the first day too but due to some mistakes, they faced trouble.

While we talk about the first position holder of day 1 and maybe day 2 too, remember the name of 4thrives. Today they reached up to 100 points, but in the last game, they were eliminated without having any points, not a big deal at all.

Dear REKONIX. Dear Nigma Galaxy. Today, you have proven yourselves as the greatest Dota 2 teams to ever play the game.

I watched this earlier today and yeah totally no surprise for me on Nigma because the game could go either way on 1 blunder but heck yeah Tundra lost 0-2 was kinda unexpected. They are kinda bad this time but they are not bad enough to lose 0-2 against Tier 2 teams

I dont know what sorcery you pulled here but well done on betting the underdogs. How often do you bet on underdogs? You got Rekonix, Nigma and even GamerLegion today. Thats 3 underdogs just on dota2 games

I don't bet on underdogs. I bet on drafts. It just so happened that the underdogs had better drafts on this occasion (in my opinion).
