Just began watching the internationals 2025 which only started with Heroic playing against Parivision.

Here is the opening stages of this huge tournament for DOTA2 if you haven't been part of it before:

Who does everyone winning in this first match?

Watched the first two bracket games today: Xtreme Gaming vs. Tundra Esports and Heroic vs. Parivision. I placed a +1.5 handicap both on Tundra and Heroic, but ended up losing since Xtreme Gaming and Parivision both manage to won 2-0. I actually thought those matches wouldn’t be easy since it’s already the playoffs, but it turned out to be an easy win for Pari and Xtreme.

For the next two brackets Falcons vs. Tidebound and BetBoom vs. Nigma I think this should be crucial. I placed again +1.5 handicap on both Tidebound and Nigma. Hopefully this time my picks will win.

Got some parlay for the playoff, lets see how these goes

Lost straight from the first game. Well I thought I was getting a good odds on Tundra +1.5. Yeah chinese teams are pretty good but normally on playoff, its pretty easy to expect the game would likely go to over 2.5 maps hence I picked Tundra +1.5

Falcons are going to win most likely, they won the 1st map and currently dominating the 2nd map. Atleast Im getting this one correctly, I thought leaning against chinese teams would burn me twice today

It was a controlled series for Parivision, a very well-controlled 2-0, in my opinion. At times, Heroic was even good, generating some good plays, but Parivision simply outperformed them today. And I had high expectations for Heroic due to their reputation in other games.

Looking at all the responses to this first day of the playoffs shows alot of interested in this tournament.
Some wins, some losses. So there are no real heavy favorites to say they will win it all so early into it.

Heroic is a good one, I used to bet for them. But with these opponents that they have on this playoffs, I would think again before betting for them.

Thanks, I'll try to minimize my losses this playoffs but I can't be sure with that. But the only way is to also minimize how many bets I can do, like yesterday I only did two.

As for the day one standings on the main stage, we're done with the day one and later for the day two, we'll have eliminated teams.

I know, right? That Falcons vs. Tidebound match was rough to watch. Felt like Falcons had their playbook downloaded before the game even started. Total outdraft and outplay.

And man, the Nigma reverse sweep... that one hurt. GPK's Puck was an absolute menace. How do you not ban that after game two? Classic Dota pain right there.

Two chinese teams seems to be losing their grip today. 1 got knocked out while another one dropped to lower bracket. Anyway, instead of betting like when you are expecting them to win 2-0, shouldnt you just go with -1.5 instead?

I didnt watch the draft but they probably didnt expect BB to pick it, Sumail is one of the top prominent puck player as well though so they probably thought of picking it

I'm glad I didn't get a chance to catch this series, as I was also planning to pull the trigger for XG, but I couldn't because my bet was still pending for Nigma, and I had to run some errands after game two.

I guess Nigma is totally back. I've lost my bet and prediction with Xtreme Gaming today and with Tundra. While XG isn't eliminated yet, they'll have to survive to the lower bracket. Games have ended today and the last match has been won by Team Falcons.

They are now assured with 5th-6th place. To be honest, I thought that Tundra would dominate the lower bracket and 33 has that chance of being the goat of having 3 TI titles but no. The change of meta is really giving a lot of changes to game. I agree 33 is good in microing more units.

This image looks really good. But based on Heroic's performance in the last game, I believe Tundra will prevail and remain in the lower lane. Regarding the other matchup, I believe Nigma will be able to strategize well throughout the games and also prevail.

Well, it went well for Heroic and they've beaten Tundra. I've predicted Tundra to go to the grand finals in the lower bracket but Heroic ended their journey and so my prediction as well. I don't think that I'll get anything from this prediction.

Regarding the other matchup, I believe Nigma will be able to strategize well throughout the games and also prevail.

Nigma did well against Tidebound yesterday. While the Tidebound boys are likeable and they're as been good as the others but the stronger team always remain. The current match now that's about to start is with XG and Nigma, both king (Sumail) and uncrowned (Ame). Good luck all!

Welp, it was good while it lasted for the Nigma boys. I knew Xtreme would win, but man, that was a quick series from them, and Nigma looked so lost after that first game.

While I was waiting for the next series, I also witnessed one of the craziest upsets in League of Legends (LCK) as KT Rolster took out the best team in the league, Gen.G. Before this match, they had a near perfect record 27-1 with their only loss coming from T1, and somehow they fumbled the most important series to give KT Rolster a ticket to Worlds.

HUGE upset today in LCK playoffs are KT ROLSTER beat GENG 3-2 to make it to worlds 2025 main stage

Absolutely great performance by all players on KT, especially BDD on zoe pick in map 4. He looked so so good just giving no chance to geng to even come close for team fights


AFter they won map 5, fans were seen crying in arena as after years KT finally made it to worlds!

Heroic prolonged the series against BetBoom Team. And it seems that they are outdrafted for the third map.

If they survive and win this last game against BetBoom, they'll be the first SA team to reach this 3rd-4th placing on The International.

I don't like the pick that they did as enigma support when there are so many disables on BetBoom's side. Maybe they were about to pick enigma as an offlane but have to do an alternative so they transitioned it to a support.
