OG had their chance to close it out in overtime, but Spirit held on to close things out in OT2. With Hally back in the coaching role, others are starting to think Spirit could be back to their shitty form.

Don't know how Falcons could make such a slip like that against 100T who lost their match today in another tournament.
I already expected them to regress after that major win, but exiting this early in the qualifier isn't normal. Maybe it's the top teams still trying to shake it off after the break, but at the same time, it's always going to be tough coming back when the tier 2 teams are always in shape by playing smaller tournaments.

There are still some series left in the EPL masters, and these are the teams that might be the next tier 1's.

I used to see L1ga on these tournaments and fortunately, they're now participating the international 2026 as huligani. Well, for some reasons it's because of Valve's ban to gambling related sponsorship on the team names so they have to change like 1win too as 1w.

I really don't want to be that guy, but i really don't believe any of these teams/players are gonna be the next tier1's. With the exception of Spirit Academy, i've known all these players for 5 years or more. Some are infamous matchfixers, like mister Nande, Parker(un-retired a month after announcing retirement), mellojul and Mikey. The rest are straight up trash. I like nesfeer, shigetsu, Rain amd Batyuk tho. I think that Yellow Submarine team has alot of potential. It's the only team i have high hopes for. Maybe they can become tier1 players.

On another news, new PlayTime players were announced.
Abed and Jabz will be replacing Darkmago and Frank on the team.

Wits
Abed
Jabz
Scofield
Elmisho

Terrible choices to be honest. Jabz is so washed up it's embarassing. He was incredibly bad at EWC. Abed is almost as washed as Jabz. One of the biggest chokers this game's ever seen.

With Abed joining PlayTime, what happened to Virtus Pro? Disbanding or just replacing Abed? Guess we have to wait.

Give 100%. 110% is impossible. Only idiots recommend that.

There goes yuragi as well but they're about to get eliminated by tomorrow I think against Team Spirit Academy.

I was about to post this but you're first.  Cheesy
I think that there's a better offer for Abed and it's a fresh set of teammates. VP was trash to be honest and bulba keeps on picking the same heroes for abed, maybe that's one reason for him to leave or his contract has expired already and that's why he's free to play for another team since TI qualifier is done.

The upsets keep on rolling, as yesterday Vitality got 2-0'd by a refreshed Liquid squad.  Shocked That'll put Spirit as the new tournament favorites now that both Falcons and Vitality are out.

It could also just be them standing-in for the event since there's a small note under PlayTime for the Games of the Future tournament page. The org probably doesn't want to miss out on that bag, since it's one of the rare $1m events that's mostly filled with tier two teams.

FURIA lost to DENDELE and became yet another favorite team to be eliminated from the BLAST Bounty tournament. Both teams won their respective picks 13-6, forcing the match into a decider map. Although the decider map was Cache—which had just been added to the pool—the match was incredibly close. In overtime, DENDELE managed to defeat their opponent and knock them out of the tournament. We can say that maxxkor put on a clearly outstanding performance for DENDELE. On FURIA’s side, despite FalleN racking up as many kills as KSCERATO, he was unable to secure the win despite being the IGL.

I have missed that note. But I think that there's a chance that after this games of the future and if they will have a good run. There's a big chance that this two will fill the slots. No more darkmago and frank. Man, I like frank and he's very versatile and strong offlane. Why did they fall for the 322. There's more to earn from their current status now in the global setting as they keep on qualifying to the good tournaments.

FURIA lost to DENDELE and became yet another favorite team to be eliminated from the BLAST Bounty tournament.
And then DENDELE lost to FaZe earlier, making them the first team to qualify for the LAN finals.

Unreal to see this many tier one teams eliminated from the qualifier, and it's not even a bo1 format.  Grin

I hope not because there aren't many top teams there to really test the potential of their squad. If their contract has expired, then maybe it's not bad to try something new, but I just think they'll hit the same ceiling with this team or maybe worse if they run into synergy problems.

You're right, they are just standing in apparently. Makes sense, since i talked earlier about strong rumours of TaiLung and Wisper joining PlayTime after TI.

Frank did not 322, he was just kicked. Playtime didn't handle it correctly with Frank, kicking him alongside the matchfixers. It's easy to give the impression that he did it too. He will probably join an international team, since South American scene is completely cooked. Everyone knows it. Any player who wants to take this game seriously needs to leave that region, if they can't be on the best 2 teams.
