Ame and XinQ for obvious reasons, Sneyking is chinese and is fluent in chinese, Ws is also fluent in chinese and played for Vici before going to Aurora, and i'm pretty sure Topson speaks at least the basics since his wife also speaks chinese apparently.

I didn't know that topson's wife speaks chinese. I thought that she's an Indonesian but after checking, she's a malaysian. And so that's why she speaks chinese since it's indo-china countries. Waiting for more roster rumors and official transfers, this is the next exciting thing after ti.

I wish FUT were able to surprise us but unfortunately... It's the 2nd time that a Turkish organization qualifies for an EWC finale but fails. The previous one was by Aurora against TheMongolZ.

I thought FUT would be better than that on Ancient. It's been their best map and they've played it many more times than Spirit in the recent months. We could have seen the 5th map at least then.

Anyway, great work by Spirit as they won big tournaments in CS2 and DOTA 2 both recently.

They certainly have put together some great teams to cover both esport genres.
Hadn't known that they beat FUT to take the Esports World Cup trophy over the weekend until just yesterday.
Looks like life is getting me further and further away from covering these tournaments but I will let the thread go on its own.

So, as we can see, these rumours are still all over the place, with some contradicting rosters on falcons and liquid cases. But i believe Pure is out of 1w and Ace ouf of Liquid. I have no idea what will happen with what remains of Falcons. If they stay and rebuild or simply join another team and Falcons becomes an entire new roster. It's very hard for me to see a world where Satanic would accept to play with Fly lol. But it's possible Satanic joins Falcons. After all, Falcons have the money, and Satanic is still binded to Spirit by contract. It will be, whoever bids higher, takes him.

An addition is that Aurora's roster might also get reshuffled. Ws going back to either SEA or China. VP's roster has been disbanded.

The good thing about CS is that there's a tournament practically every week. Tomorrow we have the start of the BLAST Open Porto 2026.

My prediction is Furia 2-1 against Pain. Pain's recent history is very good and they are capable of winning a map but not the match, despite their recent matches being against mid-table teams. Meanwhile, Furia took fourth place in a "major" and played on equal terms against top-ranked teams. And I'm betting on the exact score precisely because all the other markets are quite low.

Tomorrow we have the start of the BLAST Open Porto 2026.

My early prediction for the first day of Blast is to see a close series between G2 and Aurora. This is the only series expected to be close, but the over is more preferable because even with G2's map pool looking a bit weird, they showed Anubis can be winnable for them.



It's hard not to see a three map series given both teams lost to FURIA 1-2, and even though Aurora has the better map pool, the bookies know not to underestimate G2, unlike before.

The odds for Spirit are so low that I'm tempted to just lay them on the exchange.
I would need only map win from DENDELE to trade out.

Definitely not, both now and when you posted this. Spirit is winning 1-0 and the second map is Dendele's pick. But Spirit is the favorite and will almost certainly win, even if they lose this second map, the third map is Anubis. Spirit is better than them on that map. Ideally, for me, I would bet on the score: 2-1 or 2-0 for Spirit.

Its too bad that Aurora got sweeped 2 maps in a row by G2. Was G2 the favourites on the previous game?

I thought you will be betting on Team Spirit -1.5 or something considering that you always seems to have a soft spot for them every time they play.

I didn't expect that result, and M80 proved to be much better, sending Natus to the lower bracket. I still believe Furia should win and Pain should return from the lower bracket.

I wouldn't mind jumping on Spirit, but the odds even on the handicap were too low (around 1.40).

I also had a separate ticket on NaVi and I can't believe they lost outright against M80. The loss from EWC might've broken them and I think their drop is inevitable if they can't get their form back.

I didn't expect that result, and M80 proved to be much better, sending Natus to the lower bracket. I still believe Furia should win and Pain should return from the lower bracket.

Unfortunately I was too fixated on Spirit and ignored other matches.

I'm personally looking for good trading opportunities where the short fav struggles, so this match would have been perfect.
What I also like is that in CS (could be wrong since I'm new to CS) the live odds don't price in momentum and economy shifts for the underdog when the fav is leading.

Oh they lost? I didnt even realize this. I watched the 2nd map and I was like yep I lost this ticket so no point for me to keep watching lol.

I've got the same bet for the FURIA game, and adding Spirit's moneyline is a decent play given these two teams have the best form in their group.

As I said, Vitality finally won. Now they just need more consistency to win a championship. And about Legacy and Falcons, each lost the map they chose. Now it's 1-1 and they're going to the decider on Dust2. Even if Legacy loses this third map, they've already shown they can compete on equal terms with Falcons, and that, to me, is a great step forward for them.

We won this then. Its kinda scary actually, M80 actually knows what they are doing and Furia was lucky to win the 1st map

I wont be backing Navi this time, for some reason they are just weird so G2 would be my selection tomorrow then Im gonna pair it up with Aurora as well as Vitality for the extra odds



I think G2 might ruin this. I might get another ticket consisting Vitality -1.5 and Aurora to win, I guess this would be a safer option

The International was so awesome that I still have a couple of Spirit team games set aside that I didn’t get to watch, and even though they won in one way or another and their opponents didn’t put up much of a fight, I’ll definitely watch those games later because I want to bring back that festive feeling that was at this International. And I want to say that after watching the games between Ito and Collapse, I’m really inspired by Dota, and now I want to increase my rating by a few thousand.
At the same time, as far as I’ve found out from my friends, many people experience the same feeling.
