No need for mentoring on how to avoid plagiarism, i can help you in three simple sentences:
Do not copy somebody's work and present it as if it were your own. This is illegal in most countries, and on most discussion forums. It is also illegal on bitcointalk.

IRL, plagiarism will get you expelled, fired or you can even land in jail... On bitcointalk, the admin is more lenient and just gives you a lifelong ban instead of banning you AND reporting you to the authorities for an in real life punishment.

It is as simple as that, do not spam, do not plagiarize, any link you copied from must be included on your post, read more than you write, study more about this forum, do not be in haste because it can lead to copy and paste and plagiarism. If you do not use any link, no need for any link to be included in your post, but if you use any link, include it.

All the information you need about how the forum works is right here in B&H board. If only you just sacrifice a little of your time each day to read what has been discussed you will be a better poster. I don't know what newbies want or expect from higher ranking members. No one is going to hold you by the hand and teach you abc. You need to want it so bad that you put in the much needed effort. Don't just create threads like this just because you are bored, I particularly hate it when answers are given and there is no change from Op. They just move on to the next topic asking almost the same thing

You always do research to post quality. It is better to keep looking at the profiles of some big members. Take a good look at their posts. You can follow them and post one day you will also be able to post good quality.

There’s no need (nor will) to mentor people. This is meant to be a discussion forum, and as such, you ask question, reply to questions, or provide information and opinions. Those are better nourished obviously the more one reads on a given topic, but mentoring, interpreted as the figure of a mentor, is perhaps too far stretched to use as a term or concept here. Simply changing "be mentored well" for "invest some hours into reading" seems more like it to me.

I figure "quality" is a concept often related to merits, thus the ask to show examples. Bear in mind that the real concept is interest (as in interesting to the readers). Examples are trivial to find, simply by looking at the top merited topics and replies in a given timeframe (take away a few here and there):

First, go to your local board and inspect the best posts out there, spend some time reading every necessary post to level up your experiences such as tips about avoiding scams and other things which will help your fellow countrymen to understand something which they don't know. Then after that, you will always find that there is some necessary information that should be added after reading most of the posts. That will be your first quest to find it and try to bring them the best simplest post, I'm sure people will appreciate it especially when you take your time to do all those things first.

Newbies in the forum can be compared to an infant wherein curiosity is all over his head and as you feed them with proper and legitimate information, they start growing and starts becoming useful. In terms of mentoring, you don't really need a certain individual alone, you can receive all the kinds of help you need in the forum from different people. If a question comes in mind, do not hesitate to ask, it would be better to try than to gain nothing because you let your shyness take over you. Just be careful with the knowledge you are in taking cause not all can be trusted so choose wisely whom you'll listen to.

Asking for mentorship from people or users you do not actually know personally can be counterproductive, about a week ago or so, another user make a post of this same nature, asking for a mentor/teacher, I can state categorically that you do not need an outright mentor, and when you ask for one, you run the risk of scammers sending you PM'S that they are qualified teachers that can mentor you, when you get close to them, they take your funds, mind you that your private information is yours only, no mentor, teacher, friend or anyone should be privy to them, such info include your private keys, seed phrase, details of your accounts/wallets etc.

Having said that, you don't need to draw the attention of users that are more knowledgeable than you in order for them to tutor you, the forum has made it easy for you, you can always access their posts and when you're curious on any particular issue, the forum search button is one tap away, it'll make it easier for you and channel your answers to you through different topics made previously on your inquiry.

Finally, as for plagiarism or HQ posts, tbh, it's basically up to you, once you know the meaning of plagiarism, avoiding it is then out of your own will, making good posts is as well up to you, that's if you're ready to sufficiently improve on your Bitcoin knowledge, there's no other way around it.

About your question, I'm not sure what can be unclear about plagiarism.
if you have nothing to say, don't write a post just for a count.
If you have nothing to say, don't copy text from somewhere and paste it here. that's not your opinion and we don’t need fake writers.
Plus chances are good that the text you copied was written by someone from this forum. I guess you can't argue with someone using their own words.
Also, it's not possible to post in each section of the forum. You can't be competent for all discussions. stick to where your interests are.

My guess why you know the forum rules is by searching then you have to do it again. You have to be knowledgeable to avoid doing things that is not frowned on this forum. I was once a newbie but never once I imagined that a senior member here should be responsible in teaching me on how to get by this forum. I simply read the rules, understood it and uphold by it. plagiarism isn't the only thing you should avoid. posting malicious links would also lead you to get instantly permabanned, continuously spamming, and getting your post deleted would lead to a temporary ban as a warning. if you plan on staying here in the forum for a long time(or even if you're only staying for a short while) I suggest visiting the links(especially the forum rules) provided by the members above, It'll help you in the long run.

There are lot of veterans in this forum but you can't expect everyone is an expert in the cryptocurrency market, by the way you no need to be an expert to understand all these things and the only rule is don't copy and paste anything from the google as a reply or thread here because surely such kind of plagiarism will be punished in no time.

I understand the mentorship word very differently from yours, no one can mentor you on avoiding plagiarism, infact you would be committing deeper plagiarism if you want mentorship on avoiding plagiarism, when you can just avoid it, in between you can have mentorship on topics, and you have many of those topics to choose from and cross matching any one that excites you with a reliable and competent member, and as a -Newbies- don't soak your self into an ocean of entitlement, you can find a mentor without even the person knowing, don't wait on an available and dependent mentor to come to you.
