Darmstadt has dropped six points in the last five games alone. I would like to see them in the first league as that is ages ago, but they should urgently start to take home three points again. The advantage they have over the fourth place right now is deceptive, things can change quickly and they do lack momentum at the time. Every time one top team drops points it also motivates all the other ones. Not only do you give up part of your hope, but evoke hope in the other teams and Nürnberg, Hamburg and Schalke take a deep breath when Darmstadt fails. Going to be a close race till the end.

It remains to be seen whether the other teams can gain any advantage over Darmstadt's draw yesterday. Bremen has a fairly difficult game in Heidenheim and St.Pauli might also be faced with a hard time in Dresden. Maybe it's the chance for Nürnberg and Schalke to close the gap again. Unfortunately we'll have to wait longer for Hamburg as their game has been cancelled.

The game today could be a massive big points for Werder Bremen with both St. Pauli and Darmstadt only taking home one point each. This is really something like a decisive game for Werder I would say. After this game day we will know how Schalke and Hamburg have done and I'd say only if both win, they will still have a realistic chance to compete for the ranks 1st to 3rd. If they fail once more they really don't deserve it anymore. Hamburg lost 8 points out of 9 in the last 3 games. That is worthy of being promoted to the 1. Bundesliga...

I hope Werder Bremen doesn't do the same as Darmstadt and St. Pauli, they will win the game against Heidenhem today.

Half-time and I really like what I see 
Heidenheim leads and what a great goal in the 38 Minute. One shot from 25 meters. There were many chances on both sides and it looks like there will be more goals in the second half. In the 17 minute Bremen almost scored a goal, but Bittencourt to the post!

Darmstadt back on place 1 and only Bremen can change that today. So I'm hoping for a Heidenheim win. In the first half Darmstadt plays good in the game against Sandhausen, and they score 1:0. It should have been higher, they missed the chance and unfortunately did not play well in the second half, or simply did too little for the win. Final result 1:1

Not only were Darmstadt unable to take their chances in today's game, even St. Pauli who has the same points as them also couldn't take very good chances, they only played against Dynamo Dresden who have been in very poor form lately.

Werder Bremen lost against Heidenheim 2-1 and now the battle for promotion got even more intrested. Excellent match with so many chances on both end and Werder Bremen had a chance in the last minute to get a much needed win but missed a header. All favorites mosty dropped their points in this round.

a small favorite has not yet played . the hsv game against aue is canceled today .the other teams have really played almost all for hamburg so far .
if the hsv should then win the game against aue they are again on top !
i think the rest of the season will be extremely exciting. i'm really curious to see who will move up to the 1. bundesliga.

unfortunately, one has also the missing of the captain Ömer Toprak in the defense very noticed, who has contracted a muscle injury in the final training. hopefully it is nothing serious - next saturday it comes to the showdown in bremen where werder meets darmstadt.

True, that is a 6 points game between Bremen and Schalke. I would agree with you that that game is probably going to be a decider. If Bremen takes that one home, the game might be pretty much over for Schalke. Anyway, for now both Nürnberg and Schalke brought themselves into position to still make it. Hamburg has a last chance I would say with the game to come. I guess they are going to win that one against Aue as it is also a home game. If they lose that one I don't see how they could still make it to rank 3 at least.

I wish we saw a similar title race in the Bundesliga also.    Anyway, the teams I mentioned are Darmstadt, St. Pauli and Werder Bremen. And among them, I see Werder Bremen as a little ahead of the other two. I think they will make it to the title at the end of the season. But it is all about a feeling. Normally, they are the worst in terms of statistics among them actually.

Bundesliga is the home of Bayern Munich. They are the best team in Bundesliga and that is quite evident if we look at the title winners in the recent past. The teams in Bundesliga are not at the same level as Bayern Munich. But that is not the case in the Second Bundesliga. The Second Bundesliga is really competitive and fun to watch.

But, I think surely that is going to change in the future because I really see Werder Bremen playing consistently. So, in the future, if I am not wrong they will do better. But it's obviously hard to predict anything because you know, there is no difference in points at all between the top three teams.

I would say they have the toughest remaining program of all of the teams competing for the top. If they are promoted to the 1. Bundesliga in the end, they definitely deserved it well. Some good games for the fans to come over the next couple of weeks!

From what I can see is that Hamburg has (on paper) the "easiest" games left. However, they are quite a bit behind and would need a win streak to catch up to the top. Bremen and Darmstadt have 3 "easy" games at the end of the season, but a quite difficult program until then. If they are in the top3 after week 31 then they will probably make it.

St.Pauli, Nuremberg and Schalke have games against each other in the very last weeks of the season and will "steal" each others points then. If Nuremberg and Schalke can't close the point gap in the next weeks it will be very hard for them to do it later.

Yes, Hamburg has the easiest games on paper. And the advantage is that many of the higher-ranked teams will play with each other and take points away from each other. But for that, they also have to win themselves.

Schalke will surely drop some points in these upcoming matches because their opponents are really strong. If they want to be at the top of the table they will have to win these matches.  It's really going to be really hard work for them. I really don't believe that they will be able to win all these matches in the upcoming weeks.

But obviously, as you said if they want to get promoted in the Bundesliga they will have to prove that they are worth it. Though It does seem highly unlikely, it's not impossible.

The match between Hamburger SV and Aue was cancelled on Saturday because Hamburg could not play. They had too many positive corona cases. Today the date for that game was announced. It will take place on 5th of April. That is after the 28th matchday. Hopefully Hamburg will still be playing for promotion.

St. Pauli played a drew in their last match. They won the one before that.

One hero is Torsten Lieberknecht, he is coach of SV Darmstadt 98 and he has taken refugees from Ukraine in his house. Two weeks ago he said it at a conference and now it's happened. A woman and her son are now staying at his home. This will almost be remembered by the team and i am sure it will motivate the team.
