It seems that people who have been in crypto for a long time know this, how easy it is for people to create tokens and claim they have a big project with the aim of getting money instantly. sometimes people only look at the price that is pumped, not about the coin or just trust what any pepple said . that  makes someone fail to survive in the crypto market. i've experienced something like this and it feels like being fooled.

Related to this topic i have been looking at the different yfi tokens and spin ofs. I bought some yfi wich i invested in the vault as a experiment. But looking at YFII i see the token price at 2000 $. If you look at the project it appears to be completely dead with about 3.000.000 in the vaults. So i amwondering who want to buy those tokens at such a high price? There is no revenue are nearly no revenue. Is it only the scarcity of the token? But if you want to go for value only why not buy bitcoin instead?

Many people like you are victims because they trust meme coins too much,  eventually having to suffer losses because the coins they bought
the price continued to fall. That's why I've often said in this forum, don't invest because of other people's opinions, but always do our own research
and analysis. In order to be able to make the right decisions and not choose the wrong coins to buy, because now there are so many new coins
that are popping up. But mostly only shitcoins are used for pump and dump.

This is very right. The memes trend was started by Elon. These has no use case, no vision, no planning, no value. Complete waste of investment. Experienced trades will not fall in this trap. But the problem is with newbies. They join crypto, see such such profit in this coin. Put their money in it and loss it.

The problem with buying low on any coin is when do you know when to buy the cheapest price on your selected altcoin.  The answer is; there is no time when the altcoin you are following will be cheaper or pricier,  you just have to buy the low price when you see one.  If the low prices continue, you just have to keep buying the lower low until there is a change in trend. During the last Bull run i mainly invested into pre-sales of new projects via launchpads and temporarily my Portfolio had a really high value, but now since the last 3 months my portfolio value dropped more than 90% and i fear that it will never reach it's ATH value again, even if we have another bull run with new ATH's for Bitcoin and Ethereum. Thanks for your honest words and I believe a lot of people here on this forum can relate to your story. It was exactly the same during the ICO bull run in 2017. Many millionaires on paper, but nobody was millionaire in his bank account The best you can do if you get in cheap is to get out quickly at a decent profit. Your point of view is reasonable, during bullish market we can't expect growth in all altcoins nevertheless those altcoins which are strong in both technical and fundamental basis have higher probability to grow in the bullish market but these days it's really disappointing to see that mostly people are crazy about meme tokens which are not technically capable to survive last long in the market.

This bearish season gives us good opportunity to buy more and create profits in the future. But this won't happen when you chose to invest in such wrong coins. So we need to be more careful in buying those cheap coins in the market because some of them may not recover and eventually dies after few months. Better to DYOR those coins who hold no guarantees that they will grow more in the future. If not, we might regret in the end because we just wasted time and money just for those worthless projects.
