I'm not sure about this news, it's just an speculation on Bernard Hopkins side.

The eye injury needs to be taken care of (if true) and it was reported that he had a surgery right away. Maybe they deem that it was not necessary to provide the X-ray result. I am not putting any blame on Manny. I'm trying to find a legitimate reason why he still had to pursue this fight and I can only think of money. He can still pull out of the original deal and wait for Spence to recover like what freedomgo said right?
