Yes there is money involve on both occassion but there is a huge difference between an exhibition and a professional match when it comes to preparation. Guys like Floyd and Manny will probably just need to stay in shape with regular or normal exercises to fight in an exhibition. There is nothing much to lose but there is a lot of money to gain unlike in a pro boxing where there's more at stake.

Looks like Pacquiao's still the favor for this match, well, he was prepared when it was with Spence and now he's with (unprepared?) Ugas.

Ugas title of SuperWelterweigth was earned because it was granted by WBA as the previous holder Pacquiao is inactive. He didn't earn it thru a match so this is the best time he can show the world that he deserves the title.

But I'm still rooting Pacquiao can pull this off even if he's aged to Ugas and might be back again to the former holder of the belt. Who knows? Time will tell in the coming days.

for Pacquiao age is not a serious issue at the moment, considering he still looks almost the same age when compared to Yordenis's face, and we are certainly waiting for how Pacquiao shows his aggressiveness in the ring, because I haven't watched Pacquiao fight for a long time, only occasionally hearing information. Yordenis Ugas is a great boxer, and has good techniques that he can use to pit against top-caliber fighters. The Cuban fighter is also getting old, so I guess this match-up can also be good show of how age doesn't slow down fighters that are exceptionally great on their own. Anyhow, Pacquiao should have just taken his time to look for an opponent that's on his tier or at least close to him and not accept a bout that will not really be satisfying for a lot of people. On stake.com the odds are very clear 1.27 for Manny Pacquiao and 3.65 for Yordenis Ugas, This is the first time Yordenis is going to fight a Filipino boxer, and right now there will be only 1 week for Yordenis Ugas to prepare for the fight and I have seen that Pacquiao even though the fight between Errol Spence Jr. is canceled, Manny Pacquiao is still excited because he can get his old title belt the WBA (super) welterweight, Clearly, I may be biased with Manny Pacquiao because I am supporting him, but Yordenis Ugas has a decent record that Pacquiao should not be underestimated.

Pacquiao was set to fight Spence late this month but because of a retinal tear he had in one of his eyes the fight could not go on which was unavoidable. But Pacquiao got someone else to fight in the form of Yordenis Ugas which could be his last has you all might know that Manny is now into politics and presidential elections are closing in and should he win them this might be the last time we seeing the Philippine.

There is still time for Manny if he is still in the boxing ring, although in 2022 he already has plans to run for president of course he should retire early and focus on building his current squad. I am not sure but I think Mayweather was talking about the tax claims against Pacquiao in the Philippines and in the US(article below) and by seeing the amount I guess Mayweather thought that was the reason why Pacquiao still have to fight despite his age.

He have high chance to get it back since if we look at the stats pacquaio have more wins as well as power to knock Ugas off the ring but for his opponent its questionable if he can able to defeat the legendary fighter. We know Ugas is the currently holding the belt but for experience for sure Pacquaio will prevail unto this fight. To be fair with WBA, it's not the only corrupt organization in boxing, I think WBC is, beginning from the old president Sulaiman and now his son is running it, with many belts just being handled or being created for the purpose of any said fight under its banner.

Yeah, this could be motivation for Pacquiao and go for a killer KO to proved to WBA and get his belt back again.

The WBA just follow their official rules why they strip the belt on Pacquiao:

Rule C.14 - Champion and their teams are required to know the WBA rules and regulations.
Rule C.22-24 Champion is unable to defend the belt for medical, legal or other reasons beyond his control, he may be named champion in recess,

Since Ugas got it by default, he just needs to prove that the decision of WBA granting him the belt is reasonable.

and also his dedication now to win this fight a part of the advance political campaign as he will be running in a higher position next year.
