I'm currently browsing on the odds and I find the "Pacquiao , Manny by KO 2.90" (from sportsbet) interesting, I know Ugas is strong but he is not fast so most probably Manny will always find an opening to hit him clean and hard and Ugas will not survive the 12 rounds.

Majority of us thinks that Manny will win, it's just the manner how he will end this fight.

That will be the worst thing a boxer would do, because that will be over training. And in boxing, in doesn't mean that you will double train you will beat your opponent, it's detriment to say the least.

There are reports that Ugas has been sparring with lefties already, not sure if he is aware that Spence will have a eye injury and will pull out of the fight or Maidana is a south paw. In any case I have Manny by a big and wide margin by decision this Sunday.

I was looking forward to the Spence - Manny Pacquiao fight it is a shame it was cancelled. I think the odds were better for gamblers because Pacuiao will beat Yordenis Ugas easily. I know a lot of you are predicting a decision win but I think Pacuiao can knock him out even if he is getting old Pacquiao is one of the best boxers of our time. Manny Pacquiao hasn't change a bit, still very respectful of his opponent, same with Ugas. Yordenis though a bit taller than Manny but i don't see any problem with that. He has face many tall opponents throughout his legendary career. In 2 days we will see the weigh-in, and it's interesting to look Manny body as it developed throughout in his 40's.

Pacquiao by Decision @2.21 is very attractive AFAIC because Pacman hasn't knockout his last three opponents and considering that he is a little bit older i think Ugas can withstand those power punches of Manny.



On that conspiracy involving eye injury, i think there might be some truth to it  . Though Manny is not in his prime anymore but he is above Danny Garcia talent-wise and Spence should come to the fight very well prepared and if the news is true that he don't have a good training camp then we should doubth his reason for pulling out of the fight against Pacman.

Manny is good in close fight, so we might see a Running Ugas since this has been the weakness of Manny and if there's a chance to take the punches, for sure Ugas can handle that though we should not underestimate Manny, he also trained a lot to get his composure back. Yes, there will be more surprises this coming weekend and that's a good thing for the fans I'm not sure though with the bettors, quiet more risky.

Yeah, it wasn't a huge feat for him, he even defeated Margarito that is much taller than Ugas but it was a different era because at that time it was his prime, this time it's different. Manny was still good right here, the difference would be on the quickness as always if we are about to see Manny's fight, the only one that can match it was Marquez, just my two cents.

I think it's better to watch via streaming on the internet if you don't have pay TV, but usually the link will only be there a few hours before the fight starts, so for now it looks like it will be very difficult to find a streaming link for the fight, even if there is of course we will can't be sure if the link will broadcast properly or not. in my country only watch football which does require pay tv, while for boxing fights it is very easy to enjoy because usually there will be local tv that broadcasts it for free.

And thats were Manny is dangerous, when he is the smaller of the two because he can really used his speed to counter that height advantage. And since Ugas is not that fast but a big bigger, maybe we can see Manny's blistering hand speed again and cut angles and never give Ugas a fighting chance here.

I think Manny's is really built to be a 147 lbs or even 140 lbs the most, so I'm expecting it to be the same body that we have seen seeing him, hard, 6 packs, veins popping out.

Let's accept that the Spence vs Pacquiao will not happen anymore, we have Ugas who is also a champion and if Pacquiao wins, he will get back his belt again that was taken from him due to inactivity for 2 years. And to add to that, quick and volume punches that hard to evade the whole fight. And that angles that only Manny Pacquiao can find, really hard to counter that at least.

I read that it will be like Joshua Clottey, maybe so it will be Pacquiao firing at all directions and showing that he might have slow down a bit, but he still has the power to make someone turtle and shell themselves from the punch.

Yes that's real time and better check them 1 by 1 if which of them is best for you since personally we do have different takes upon selecting the best among that selections. That's what I don't like about boxing today. Everything is obviously scripted. Luckily, we have an exciting fighters like Manny and Inoue in this generation.

It turns out that if we place a bet on each of these outcomes, we will get an average odds of 1.5, which is clearly more than the odds offered for the simple outcome "Pacquiao win". I feel like I'm wrong somewhere, I hope someone can tell me where exactly.

Average odd (2.9 + 2.1)/2 = 2.5
And if we bet on both outcome 2.5/2=1.25 Which corresponds to the odds for Pacquiao's simple win.
