You've said it yourself. Bitcoin doesn't need the government to succeed. It can live on its own and thrive thanks to the way it was designed. One thing for sure is that Bitcoin will be more effective in the future. That's because developers are working day and night to make Bitcoin the best sound money in the world. One thing that is good for the government of most countries in the world today is starting to open the door to legalizing bitcoin as a regulated asset.
