Adoption is on the move and  recognition is  getting more bigger as the years passing but it wont be an assurance that there would be a total overall scale of acceptance.Government does have different takings about bitcoins

It's quite the opposite. Governments ban bitcoin because they know exactly its value and importance. Bitcoin is out of their control and everything the government can't control must be banned or destroyed. That is the mindset of people running the governments, because that is actually how they reached at their currently status position: destroying and isolating their adversaries in politics.

Bitcoin can be more effective in future or not. We must observe the imposed regulations and how they will work in practice to conclude if they are making bitcoin stronger or weaker. Let's see if other countries have started adopting? some countries are still in the selfishness of banning, limiting blocking restrictions. While the opposition certainly hopes that the government should give a little more room and try to implement a simple adoption system first before evaluating what is the difference between Bitcoin and fiat money when a country is hit by inflation.

Remember what governments always say to Bitcoin about its threat to financial finance? that's all they do because they can't have control, I'm sure if they can control Bitcoin and the system is not decentralized it will be easier to accept. This has been effective, not just talks about the future but it's present outbreak that attracts more investors. Those who had doubts in bitcoin, now started to develop their positive possessions in holding btc as their future asset. Bitcoin is designed for long time using , and this is the answer to the economic failure of many countries , and also the answer against corruption but of course government will not support that idea as they are preventing this to be accepted.

I think you will be amazed if you knew how many government employees might be invested in Crypto currencies. It is not to say, if the ruling party or the government appose Crypto currencies.. that a government employee in his private capacity are not invested as an individual. IMO, it is not because the Government that is banning Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in their country don't understand what Bitcoin is and how it works or know the value of it, it is because they do and they understand that this is financial freedom for the people and that they can no longer have that full control of their financial system if the freely allow cryptocurrencies to flourish the way it is going, that is why some of them are having this ban on crypto.

It's the fear of losing out on the control of it's Citizens financial transactions as well as the fear of increase in cyber crime due to the anonymous nature of bitcoin. It will surely be effective, even now I guess most of young generations prefer cashless transaction using e-money or digital wallet, at least in my country, that's the case. Especially there are a lot of e-money giving lots of promotion and such in my country, so people rarely use cash since they want discount and such. I don't think so. in my country many young government officials still reject bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. It's not about age. It is about the mindset and ego of leaders. Indeed, I admit that in other countries the governments that lead the country/region are the older generation. But in my country, many young people have served in government. Even our mayor is around 35-37 years old. They still reject crypto and bitcoin.

In my personal opinion, they reject bitcoin because they are afraid that crypto users will not pay taxes.

What the government wants is control over all of the transactions happening in their respective countries. If there is something that is beyond their control or reach, they would classify it as a potential risk to their power of control. I am not Indian nor living in India but I think India is quite neutral to this, technically, rolling out crypto advertisements is already a form of legality, so technically speaking, Bitcoin is indeed legal there, CoinSwitch operates as a digital exchange used by a lot of Indian citizens, if digital exchanges there can operate freely, then the government is indeed allowing crypto activities but never supports them.

The scenario within India is different. Myself too see the emergence of more number of exchanges for cryptocurrencies. In reality majority of the exchanges were registered on foreign countries and is functional on India. The government have revealed a statement that cryptocurrency is an unregulated digital asset and not a legal tender.
