Scammers are at it again sending out bulk mails disguised to be from pancakeswap congratulating you on winning some free ethereum or other coin. The link below is attached to it disguise to be wallet connect link which will require your confirmation on your wallet to claim the free coin. https://walletsconts.com/claim_token.htm.

If you receive such mail, make sure you don't follow the link on your wallet or give any permission in order to stay safe from their scam.

Unknown emails must be ignored and deleted. Do not use your seed phrase or private keys to any website that you're not using and not official. These scammers will try to trick your emotion, two types of emotion, happiness, and sadness. Happy in a manner that you'll receive an email from them like what OP has said. And sadness, through playing with it telling that you've been literally hacked by someone and does the same trick of putting another link to stop the hacking. That's why we should always be calm and verify the domain of the email that has sent the message.

These scammers will be sending more scam email to the email address list that owned by the scammers but i do feel curious about where from the scammers were getting our email?
I rarely exposing my email to the public and the scammers were also able to get the email.

These days there's no safe place. So many scammers.

Please put a code on your thread just like what I quoted in here from your post. Well, it's just to avoid risk by clicking directly it on that link, I hope you understand what I mean.

To be honest, scams aren't old even in the ancient times there are recorded history of it. The only thing that change scammers is the way they adopt to a new tactic. I wouldn't buy a random email that says you win, it's to good to be true and if you get one consider it as a red flag.

Thanks for sharing this here. But It would be nice for all of us If you Edit your post. Remove the link and Just take a screenshot and add
the screenshot in your post.

Personally, I don't click any link like this. Most of the time I avoided my spam folder, If there is any spam mail I just ignore it. I also like to clean my spam folder. So why regularly delete all spam mail. A few years ago I tried to join some airdrop using my Email address. Only for this reason still get a lot of spam mail like you. I think I need to change my Email address only for this reason.

Scammers are born to scam others,it's the reason they won't get tied at any circumference. They keep on create many websites by showing free bitcoin, ethereum.Last day offer to get your free coin. They keep do this with a certain period and even create a telegram group to scam people and get some money by saying need to send some dollars as fees.

The OP puts a code mark on the phishing site it will not be easy to click, someone doesn't need to visit it because they already know this is a phishing site that wants to get your private key.

So indeed this has become widely distributed everywhere a group of scamers to spread it, therefore it must be considered again overall in terms of the script and the domain.

You can find other phishing findings here.

Scams are every where nowadays and mostly in crypto, and the sad thing is that this scam plot are all being targeted at newbies and they are the ones who fall mostly for this kind of scams, this is why newbies need to be very cautious of the kind of links they click when promised any free stuff or when they trying to enter an airdrop.

I have some of this scam tokens in my wallet currently, how this operates is that they send the free tokens to random active wallet, liquidity is already added for the token on PancakeSwap, and this fake tokens are worth several bnb, a newbie who's not familiar with this plot will try to sell the tokens on PancakeSwap and once he or she approves the transaction, all the money in his or her wallet will be automatically withdrawn by the scammer.
This is sure a high level kind of scam and everyone is adviced to be very vigilant with the happening around them, don't ever try to sell an airdrop tokens which you find in your wallet and you are sure you didnt apply for the airdrop, it's likely a scam.

It's basic information that crypto is full of scams, in fact, the majority of the projects are scams so we should know how to detect the signs of scams. If you receive an unsolicited email, then you should not open those emails and it might only be a phishing attempt that would steal your information. As an investor, you know what you are investing and you know what emails are legit or not.

I have to say it is really a hard thing to never get scammed, I lived in the crypto world for 8 years without ever getting scammed, and finally last may I got scammed BIG time, nearly every single dollar I had on a project I was working on for marketing purposes, dude basically offered bunch of stuff and said that it will get published and got the payment and then just spammed it everywhere and said that is better than what he offered, which we all know it wasn't because why would spamming it everywhere that is already free to post be any better than actually posting it on serious places with legit visitor numbers?

So at the end of the day, dude took 3k of our money from the project without ever helping us and he is a prick but I finally got scammed for the first time after 8 years of being clean from scammers. Not much I can do about it, but they are definitely growing in numbers.

They will never get tired because they know there are still a lot of uneducated investors in the market. It will always depend on us, if we will educate ourselves before investing, then eventually these scammers will get out because they know they cannot scam people since we already know how to spot the difference between a scam and legit.

I'm not saying I'm good but I learn from my experience as I have been scammed in the past.

True. Scammers will always find ways to steal money from innocent people because that's their job and that will make them satisfied leaving their victims empty pocket.

I think it's really a must once we are into investing, then we should always  be careful and cautious in every actions we take so as not to leave suspicious motives to the scammers. I believe scamming will only be stop or even minimized once we get educated about investments.

that's the way to summarize things, don't trust websites and emails that you don't know, you have to atleast search about them, and if you receive and email from someone claiming to be for example Pancakeswap, check who sent you that email and see if it's legit from them, we should not blindly trust anyone on the internet, even in real life to be honest.

Im aware about that dude. I never try to open spam email that sends by unknown address. Sometimes scammers were creating such site to just only for a few days or weeks and then scammers will go away to leave such domain to find a new domain again. I have been seeing this thing so many times. The scammers were sending it to the thousands of emails or even more.

This is an old trick will never work again for anyone. that's way scammers were evolving its trick by getting involved directly in the creation of scam token to be used as a way to lure the LP providers and then rugpulling it.

Scammers will always find new ways on how they can trick people. Most of us should be aware of it already. They tend to analyze what we currently now and strategize new ways wherein they think they can deceive us through that once again. There are still many people who falls into scams, may it be newbies or those who have been here for a long time already. They usually have few knowledge about crypto and its frauds that's why they still end up losing money. If you wouldn't study or learn how they scam people, you wouldn't be able to evade them so it's best that you are always up to date with their schemes so that you can avoid and prevent yourself from losing money.

Yes this topic is very representative of us who are deceived by scamers, I am very tired of the behavior of scamers, I also began to despair about the state of bounty projects, airdrops or investment offers via email which I think is something of a systematic scam. Everything still continue if there is no safe regulation of cryptocurrencies. Because a lot of time and money from crypto lovers is stolen because of scamers. Obviously, never open any email that we feel we not subscribe.

scammers never run out of ideas to steal our money so don't believe anything that doesn't make sense....i heard many experienced the theft of their tokens when linking their wallets with the smart contracts of a bsc token.  even my trustwallet is often sent fake tokens by scammers for free, not easily tempted is the key not to be deceived.

Yes, i already seen many peoples claim that their wallet send out the coins itself because trapped by some link sent by someone in telegram.
I think its kind of Smart-Contract execution that makes the scammer possible to move out the funds out of someone wallets, we should aware from this kind of scam since we will lost the access to our wallet.
And another way to avoid this is to not directly click on every link shared by others via telegram, because other people will never share useful links to everyone if they don't have malicious intentions, because it is in his interest in deceiving many people.

Old tricks to attack newcomers to the field, and of course things like this I only see as the first step towards getting into the field. And of course it's not us who lose money because this shitcoin in the wallet doesn't mean much if we realize it's a scam. This time only believes in the clear transparency of the market, and says no to HYPE.

Often I also receive links to my emails, and I don't trust them, because if we act rashly by clicking on those links, then things will happen that are not desirable.
It could be a link to drain our wallets. And this happens almost every day I receive email submissions from senders who are not clear, even from someone unknown. Even the links from exchanges that in fact, they are fake. Whenever and wherever the scammers will always stalk us.

There are many people who have just started to take an interest in cryptocurrencies. Likewise, scammers are finding new methods every day. It's a little easier to scam new investors, especially if you tell them you're going to give away something for free
We should always be careful and not click on links we do not know. Nothing will ever be free Smiley

Unknown emails must be ignored and deleted.
not only deleted and Ignored instead we must report the sender also to be banned , because Unsolicited emails are not ethical way .

Do not use your seed phrase or private keys to any website that you're not using and not official.
Why not say " Never enter sites that you need nothing . never click any of them unless you have business to do.

These scammers will try to trick your emotion, two types of emotion, happiness, and sadness. Happy in a manner that you'll receive an email from them like what OP has said. And sadness, through playing with it telling that you've been literally hacked by someone and does the same trick of putting another link to stop the hacking. That's why we should always be calm and verify the domain of the email that has sent the message.
one thing is sure , These scammers wanted to take your money thats all.

actually most are not just to scam but also to hack, sending phishing links .

Scammers will not be getting tired to find a way to scam innocent people. They make this thing for a living but it was very unfortunate they come into evil things to feed their tommies and to their family. if we are not aware of this kind of scam, it surely we got caught with their promising offerings and especially for the newcomers who have greedy souls and wanted instant rich.
The only thing we can avoid from them is to be getting aware of what we are doing and never have the chance to let them get in touch with you by not talking with them.

Yea I've seen them also, I'm just curious how many email address was exposed this is why I'm suspecting bounty managers that always leave email address on spreadsheet, fake mails only come through email in use for bounties and airdrops 🤔

When someone giving away tokens for free or there is investing opportunity with a very attractive interest rate, we must always be very careful. It is greed that most often leads people into the hands of scammers and turns them into victims.

Thanks for warning about this scam.

Exactly, scammer will always try to find a ways to fool and scam people. Their victims are always those people who are not aware and newbie. Being vigilant and always stay away from too good to be true antics and youll be fine.

First, we should be aware that scammers are everywhere, and 2nd, we should know what are scams in crypto so we will not fall for their scams. Being knowledgeable on the scam techniques will make us successful someday, we are here in a risky market, if we are not careful we would lose everything.

There are different kinds of scams, there are those who look legit but is a scam in reality, and there are those who are obviously a scam but some people still fall for it.

If you receive such mail, make sure you don't follow the link on your wallet or give any permission in order to stay safe from their scam.
If you get any notification from unknown sources that you did not participate, just ignore and block them. There are several scammers that are trying to take advantage of anything that is going on and many will fall for these scams. If someone accidentally connect the wallet then their private key is gone. So always make sure about admin impersonators in Telegram and luring people in the pretext of winning a giveaway.

scammers never run out of ideas to steal our money so don't believe anything that doesn't make sense....i heard many experienced the theft of their tokens when linking their wallets with the smart contracts of a bsc token.  even my trustwallet is often sent fake tokens by scammers for free, not easily tempted is the key not to be deceived.
That's the thing about scammers, they do not really come up with "new" ideas, they just change the shape of a few certain scams that everyone still falls for.

You can check the article regarding scams on
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_confidence_tricks this on wikipedia and you will realize that every single scam that you have seen will be one way or another related to these scams in the list.

Obviously they change the design and shape it like a brand new thing so that you do not fall, but they are all the same.

People are falling for ponzi scheme in this day and age, it has been about one century since the first one and people still fall for it, is it because people come and ask you to give them money so they can buy post stams to make a profit?

Obviously not, that is what Charles Ponzi did, and these days people just change the post stamp with something else and make it more official looking and people still fall for it. Hence it is not new, it is just rebranded version of something on that list all the time.

There are many people who have just started to take an interest in cryptocurrencies. Likewise, scammers are finding new methods every day. It's a little easier to scam new investors, especially if you tell them you're going to give away something for free
We should always be careful and not click on links we do not know. Nothing will ever be free Smiley

Another good reason for scammers to attack,

As newcomers don't have any ideas regarding to this kind of scheme since they are new inside they think that crypto is a safe haven for them to earn money.

Scammers let them feel that way and allure them with freebies, and after they take the actions scammers easily execute and emptied their wallets.

It's just a repeated way but putting some twist to allure people who easily attached with freebies, make sure to avoid this kind of offers, more safe to work with your assets without looking for an easy way to pocket some dust profits.

It's just an email, come on it won't bite you and as long you have a proper understood of what kind of link you should click or not to click. Those puny scam emails should not make you shy away from reading unknown mails from unknown senders. I'm more worried about the breach of your email where some scammers know your email address and attempt to scam you. Anyone should has at least a number of emails from level 1-3: for work and personal contact, for entertainment purposes like gaming or forums site (bitcointalk), and last for sites that you don't trust but still have to register.

I also experience this I recieve different email from unknown sources. But I egnore them all, because I understand that this email is maybe a scam. I only reply or open an email when I know the sources. Sometimes we need to be vigilant and extra careful because scammers are very smart they always looking for an open opportunity to scam people without any doubt or hesitation.

If you receive such mail, make sure you don't follow the link on your wallet or give any permission in order to stay safe from their scam.
they're following what's trending and making phishing link just to caught some victims around the internet, so you should be aware and visit the real website if its legit or not,  however if it's from unknown sender then stay away in it wherein never ever visit the link because mostly got hack through that way.. So be careful and never trust such information or messages that poping up to your email.. Scammer will always makes a way just to scam people around the internet remember that mate to protect your personal information and etc.
The most horrible thing is that google works with reporting and if you report something then they usually take it down and ban them to ever work with the same google account as well. However until you report them, there are so many phishing attempts done on specific websites, when Binance first started it was very popular, there were many many websites like blnance and so forth that ended up making people lose so much money, and that caused people to actually end up reporting and taking that down and another came up with binence or whatever.

So, it continues until it is taken down and that is the biggest problem google has right now, there is no prevention, just redemption and that helps the scammers do phishing so easily, and this is google that we are talking about, if they do it this easily on google, think how easy it is for them everywhere else.

Well, about making a big loss as you mention with those. There's no capital that you're investing into both of those but what's worse is that you're wasting your time.

Scammers will continue to commit fraud over and over again in the same way as long as there are still victims to deceive. Because today there are
still many people who are deceived by joining bounties and airdrops that promise big profits. Even though the reality is that the bounties and airdrops
are fake, in the end we just wasted our time being bounty hunters for a few weeks. Therefore, there is no other way, we really have to be careful
in choosing the bounty or airdrop that we will participate in, always research in depth. What hurts more is that we as bounty hunters help promote
a project that turns out to be a scam. In the end, many investors became victims, by investing in the scam project.

Not only wasting your time actually but you are also part of the scam as these scammers will victimized investors with lack of knowledge and they will just leave after the crowd sale, in the end, you'll get nothing from your contribution but investors are scammed because of the promotions of the bounty hunters with lack of knowledge.

If we will not support a suspicious project, it will not gain awareness to the community and investors will be safe from scams, that's the logic.

We should get rid from this tricky tricks of scammers, and guess their desperately undertaking several traps to mislead people and become as preys of their darker intentions.
This shouldn't be kept happening, and in order to stop it we should always bare in mind that these suspected links must not be trusted particularly when the sender wasn't in your safe lists.
Cryptocurrency involves huge amount of money, so becoming vigilant is our important strategy regarding a serious matter like this.

It takes knowledge to be able to know, if the link we receive is really official or from a fraud. and basically if I get a link to claim free coins, I won't do it. because not necessarily the coins we claim can be traded
What if the coins promised is a legit coin like Bitcoin or ranking coins? then you will get interested lol !!  the thing here is never become greedy and also never become Noob . in the status of crypto now , only Stupid account will believe that there will be a freebies because the value of crypto is really increasing .
and the main reason why there are emailing happening is that scammers and hackers are going to way in the popularity of crypto so they knew that noob and greed is the best and easy target.

As long as there are people who can be easily deceive and become a victim then expect these scammers to exist forever.

Its their way to get an easy money without exerting too much effort. They're everywhere not only in crypto world thus be extra careful and dont believe easily with the links sent to you by email or any sorts.

Always verify because thats how you can protect yourself for getting victimized by scam.

This is what we must be aware of because scamers are many ways to deceive us so we must be careful not to be easily attracted by the free offers they give, and never give our private keys when doing the steps they apply and for now there are very many victims who feel uneasy with the scamer because they are always targeting prey, Then in the future there must be a special way to eradicate scamers.

if we wanted to be safe in crypto , then never let our personal details be broadcasted in what way? prevent joining bounties that requires Emails or other personal details .

Thanks a lot for warning, as I can be inattentive sometimes or too naive, but of course when I receive letters that say that I won flat or phone, I just ignore, but in case with crypto, I participate in many airdrops, so it will not be weird for me to receive a letter that I won some coins. We should be very careful when confirming something in our wallets on strange web-sites.

Never follow anything in email if not notification or maybe code from login (but if we try to login) check the IPs and anything like that. Or maybe click on suspicious promo, although legit maybe i will missed it because always ignore what come to my email except login notification in email or maybe get a code for login and withdrawal, and one important thing is although it is airdrop and look promising, don't ever give our private key or connect our wallet into any site which we don't know exactly if it is legit or maybe prepare wallet that only be used to airdrops to prevent our main wallet connected with scam sites.

It was okay to receive emails confirming your participation to airdrops and asking your wallet address but that becomes strange when they ask your keys too. Even the links send through emails from a person who hasn't expected to send you that it was also weird scenarios coz if that contains malware, it could lead them to make an entry once you have clicked. It was best not to do anything and much better to delete emails from unknown person for a better security.

Scammers were using airdrop as a way to lure the airdrop hunters to get into the trap. I have been seeing that so many times the hunters were getting stolen by the scammers. All of the assets got drained by the scammers.
There are a bunch of scammers in the market. I have also got various pms from the scammers on my telegram group, email, and other social media.

A trick that has already explained by the thread starter can be categorized as an old trick. some scammers were also trying to use the new trick to lure people into the trao just like pump their own scam coin to the moon to attract the LP providers.
Some scammers even spamming the smartcontract.

We must always be careful with a thing that too good to be true

Thanks a lot for warning, as I can be inattentive sometimes or too naive, but of course when I receive letters that say that I won flat or phone, I just ignore, but in case with crypto, I participate in many airdrops, so it will not be weird for me to receive a letter that I won some coins. We should be very careful when confirming something in our wallets on strange web-sites.
this is also a lesson for us, so we can all learn from this.
but, as far as I know, you need to know where the messages in your mail are coming from. Currently, phishing sites are very rampant in the name of a company and even the name of a crypto company. you need to re-check the site and others. You also need an updated antivirus. we don't know what kind of scam he will do to you when sending messages. if you let your guard down and upload a private key, or something of value to you, then you fall into the trap. stay alert with the messages you get, even more so on the scam messages in the mail that you use to join the airdrop.

Unfortunately there are too many places that even get SSL certificate for their phishing website as well, I have seen people build exact copy of binance website just to get your information, that is the most hardcore thing that I have ever seen, it is not easy to mimic such a website and it requires a lot of talent, so if that guy was capable of making one to one copy of binance, that means they could have made a website that is profitable as well, maybe idea part could be the hardest part if they had the talent to build but didn't, but I am sure they can find a million ideas on bitcointalk.

At the end of the day, I believe that we should be capable of understanding from just putting all the important websites into frequently used on our browsers, and save the links, and for all others all we can do is just to make sure we check the names carefully.

Although it is funny to say, but I don't think scammers will ever get tired because human greed also get hold of some people when they see certain offers or certain promotions, and because scammers knows that, many will allow greed get the best of them, they keep Innovating, changing tactics and so on. I believe that, once you come across a promotion in your mail, of which you know you didn't request for it and also the promotion comes with high rewards with little to no task it is better to delete such mail as some might even come with phishing links to steal or hack your wallet. Also, even when it looks too good to be true, nothing stops the person from checking out with the team of the project first to ascertain such claims, until most people starts taking control of their greed level, most will keep falling for all these scammers.
I am always of the opinion, the links you visit frequently like exchanges or web wallet, it is better to bookmark it, and learn the act of only visiting such websites through that bookmark, it saves a lot as well.

Along with the development of cryptocrancy, there are many things that happen in it, one of which is a scammer, where scammers often occur in bonty and airdrob, I think to avoid this it is better to research carefully whether the bonty and airdrob have an official website or address  , if not, don't ever go into it, because it can make you a big loss.
To avoid it, aside from researching carefully is to avoid joining those suspicious bounties and airdrops that might get your attention.
Well, about making a big loss as you mention with those. There's no capital that you're investing into both of those but what's worse is that you're wasting your time.

It is true that they'll get nothing from those scammers and they've promoted them for free. That's why at the beginning, if you know how to spot a scam.
Do not waste your time, avoid it and never join them. You have to look elsewhere if you want to join these airdrops and bounties but to tell you that only really a few of them becomes successful.

Sometimes the need for money and the lack of knowledge about crypto investing could really result to getting scams. We need some basic knowledge before we start investing in crypto, we don't only look at the potential to make money but more so the high risk that is always here because it could easily take our dreams with just one mistake. Some people work hard to grow their investment, and then one simple mistake like what you've mentioned, they lose everything and get discouraged from investing again.

This could be just a simple mistake but it could cost our entire investment.

The users that are new to the market usually fall for these scams as they think it will be some sort of airdrop Grin. Scammers are finding new ways and you need to be aware of everything that is going on in this market and i recently joined a group to ask some questions about their project and i got over ten direct message claiming it to be projects customer service and they usually impersonates the real admin and if you are new, you will fall for these scams.

If I received unsolicited email, I directly put it into trash and delete. But not all people do that as sometimes the subject title is very tempting especially if they see free money. So usually, they will open it up and try to check the link. And checking the link itself sometimes will make your computer vulnerable depending on what coding these scammers made. They will never get tired of trying because that's their way of screwing money from naive users.

It's true that not everyone immediately deletes suspicious or unknown emails, some people are always curious about emails that they don't
know. Moreover, the email has a interesting title, usually without thinking a few people immediately open the email. And usually there is a link
that directs us to a certain website, that's the beginning of some people starting to become victims of scammers. The reason scammers never
tire of committing fraud, sometimes using the same method over and over again, that's because there are always people who can be fooled
and scammers make a lot of money. So be careful with all the tempting offers that come, we should ignore it, because nowadays there is
no free money. To be able to make a lot of money requires hard work and don't dream of getting it instantly.

As long as there are people who can be easily deceive and become a victim then expect these scammers to exist forever.
actually most of the victims are greed people and those new to system , meaning not really into online business in which easily to react once being sent by emails or other scammers strategic ways.
Quote
Its their way to get an easy money without exerting too much effort. They're everywhere not only in crypto world thus be extra careful and dont believe easily with the links sent to you by email or any sorts.
actually they are gifted people , they are talented but using it in wrong way of living .
Quote
Always verify because thats how you can protect yourself for getting victimized by scam.
The best thing? ignore the unexpected emails , by this you will save yourself from being victim.

and also best to try using different emails , never put your personal emails in any transactions in online that is not really important .

Without checking the sources, they tend to fall into this trap because they have little understanding of the community. When scammers constantly receive new targets, why they can stop their mission?

If you receive such mail, make sure you don't follow the link on your wallet or give any permission in order to stay safe from their scam.

scammers will never be satisfied because they will never stop doing it before they get what they get some scammers even always target new people so that everyone can be ensnared by these scammers it makes many people interested in their tricks so that their influence can attract victims who will certainly be interested and click on the fraudulent website.
Scammers never get caught because they are always searching for new ways to catch novices. However, every scamming formula can be effective for new victims. Without checking the sources, they tend to fall into this trap because they have little understanding of the community. When scammers constantly receive new targets, why they can stop their mission?
The anonymity helps them not to get caught, their fake names or project maybe ruin but they can easily create a new one and start scamming people again. Imagine, as the hype continues and people easily get fooled, they are making a lot of money with a little effort, they just use their intelligence abusing the investors who do not do the research before investing.

scammers always use thousands of ways to deceive the victims. I think this should be avoided by always deleting spam in emails so they don't turn into junk. sometimes beginners need to be educated about this problem so they can avoid scammers via email

They are not get tired because they dont have done hard work to earn. They are doing only work to stole any data or public fund so why get tired. Their formula can not be accessible by the public so they do more often to do this. They are enjoying in any field and some scammers has made lots of money.

not only in an e-mail. I also get a lot from the inbox in my telegram account. when we raise a problem or question in the telegram group of a project. suddenly several accounts are almost the same as the admin account trying to help us. but if we look closely, actually they are different from the admin group.
and most importantly, the admin never messages us first.

It is never really easy to not fall for scammers because they always keep improving what they are doing and it becomes a challenge. However the "projects" in the crypto world are the worst, even the most horrible project gets so much money invested into it, people do not even check the open source code when its literally just open, it says right there that they could do something shady and there are still people who invest into it.

Long story short, it is definitely a bad situation we are in right now with scammers, but we should be looking for the guilt at ourselves a bit as well, there are so many people investing thousands of dollars to scam projects with the hopes of making 10x quickly, that is recipe for disaster.

Unfortunately this is their job how do you expect them to get tired of it, if they fail to succeed with one they try another this is their mode of operation and they sees this bad behaviour as way of earning, there are many genuine jobs online they can do to earn money but they will rather stick to the bad one, it is sad, people have to be very careful not to fall as victim.

Of course they don't get tired sending you scam emails. They don't even actually do anything. They just make one email and then they are automatically sent out to thousands of people. Those scammers just sits back and relaxes while dumb people being greedy falls for those scam. They check after a while to see how many idiots fell for it. They send those funds to a secure wallet while laughing at those dumb people and this cycle keeps on going on.

This cycle keeps going on if there are fools who do continue to feed back these shits and this had been a common problem because even how hard we do share up and make out warnings about scam but there are still
people who do really fall for it just because they do really let that greed overcome them which do results into this kind of scenario which people should really avoid because losing money is something not that worth
as always just because you had been just too careless on some situations and yes its true that they never gets tired on making out new moduses and ways for them to scam people.
If one method is busted then they would find for another one.

As long as they are earning money easily, they wont stop scammers are also growing as the market goes by so be careful always and never trust anyone here in cryptomarket that easily, you have to analyze and do some research before investing. Don’t be greedy as well, scammers victim usually those who believe for a bigger reward in just a simple step, that’s not true to me.

actually scamers were smart people , they have skill in technology but unfortunately their laziness make them use bad way to earn money. if they use their skill maybe more money could earned by them, alot team will interested with their skills.

Scammers are at it again sending out bulk mails disguised to be from pancakeswap congratulating you on winning some free ethereum or other coin. Doesnt only stop there but also to think that there are exchange hacks, services or platform exploits and ICO scams everywhere and its true that this is indeed a honeypot
for scammers because this is multi million market and due to anonymity then its no surprise that it would be the best recipe for hackers and scammers
and this is why as a crypto investor or enthusiast then we should know on how things should be done in terms of security or same aspects.

Scammers are always looking for ways to carry out their actions to get money in a fraudulent way, they will keep racking their brains to get people to fall into the traps they set. This method of deception has often been done, cryptocurrency is one of the most powerful media for scammer to launch their action. Although cases of fraud have often occurred, but strangely there are still stupid people who are interested in free coin. Logically in this world no one wants to give free money without any profit sharing, be it by lawful or fraudulent mean.

scammers always use thousands of ways to deceive the victims. I think this should be avoided by always deleting spam in emails so they don't turn into junk. sometimes beginners need to be educated about this problem so they can avoid scammers via email
That's why it's not easy to be completely free from scammers,
they are really smart and with the development of the times also they have all the means,
we have to be really careful and thank you for giving the advice hopefully it can help

Scammers are like mushrooms in the season rain. Growing fast everywhere unseen and consuming hundreds of thousands of market participants. It's hard to detect, sometimes they're good at tricking people. Moreover, today's sophisticated technology is getting scammers looting people's money faster. My message is to be careful, research the project, who is the founder, is there a roadmap or not and what are the benefits. Hope all is well and safe.

Scammers  need to eat , and they  know where the right place to Hunt , knowing that this forum has a plenty of offering then they are continuously growing and growing over the years.
so expect that some of them may tired and take a rest but another one will work and hunt, meaning they will only grow and gain as long as there are a willing victims .
we are the target and if we don't know how to keep or security up then we are going knowhere but to be eaten .

I don't understand why so many people are gullible with such spam notifications. Really, these are just simple tricks, and it's not too hard to understand that they are scams, you also come to the fact that free money is not always valuable so don't let greed be abused  with scammers. I find it hard to laugh when many people believe that it is possible to earn several hundred dollars through such links. If money is so easy, then surely there are rich people here and don't need much advice to make money from this market, always DYOR Smiley .

The first rule in the crypto world is, never click on a link from a stranger, especially when it's an investment message. Currently, there are many cases of losing assets just because they associate their wallets with phishing sites. i don't know how it happened, but when they linked the account, they became paranoid about crypto and accused that all crypto is a scam. this usually happens to people who are new to crypto, especially when they are offered huge profits.
once again, never trust links sent via email, or telegram, even when they are on behalf of a big company.

Most of the stories of victims of scammers that I have read and heard are because of the wrong sites that they have opened or simply the phishing sites. Those phishing sites are too good to deceive people because those sites are more look likely as the original site this is very alarming because most of the time newbies are always the victims. No one knows how to get rid of those scammers because it seems that these people are keep on growing in numbers to victimize people. So better be safe than sorry, always check the site if it is secured and never easily fall on a click bait popped on email or telegram.

All good points being made here.

My 2 cents.
When greed or desperation are high with an individual or group, that's when scams "get" people. Greed traps people because they want to get rich quick or easily. Desperation traps people because they are emotionally susceptible to anything that gives them hope to solve their problems of desperation. So, with either of these two factors people are most vulnerable. Scammers do research and commit time and energy for ROI. They employ skills that otherwise could be used to make contributions to society but instead cause terrible hardships for people. Empathy is dead for the person who intentionally and knowingly harms others. It's all an emotional play. It's not victimless. Sad really.

Is it true if you click on someone's link, it could have malware and your wallet could cleaned out?  Someone posted they have coins in their ledger and metamask... i dont know anything about metamask and that person said it drained their metamask account.  But nothing with ledger since well they can't do that.

Does this mean if you have an iphone and click on those links and have wallets on your iphone, this would happen?  I know android phones are not good security wise but same applies to iphone?

Phishing is something that does get a lot of people, but scammers who actually talk to you and scam you is bigger, because that is a problem that we could fix but it is also dynamic as well. Phishing could be basically fixed by checking the website carefully and you will realize that you are in the wrong website by checking, that's simple, or if there is a project starting up and saying that they are going to be 100x very soon then you will know that they are a horrible one or scamming you because nobody could guarantee something like that.

However, reality is that there are people who talk with us and we do not understand if they are real or not and that is the situation that we get scammed and the hardest to understand. Think about it if someone is talking with you then they can convince you and there is nothing that you can do to make sure that they are serious or not. Fixing that is the hardest thing and I am not sure if that can be ever done.

The hard part is to inject malware or trojan to a personal computer, rest depends on how professional is a hacker. He can do bad things included cleaning all your data and stealing coins.
Just don't forget number 1 rule: Don't click the links sent by random telegram users and shared on Twitter/Reddit platforms. Otherwise, victims will come to cry on various forum threads for recovering coins.
Learn how to use the social media platforms on the personal PC or you will get robbed once more.

This is why never click the link from a suspicious site or download any files they can really get all your datas and you’ll be a victim of those hackers. There’s a lot of scammers locally and abroad, they are adopting every trend of this market so be extra careful on protecting your assets, always deal on a more legit way than to trust anyone.

If there's one thing I've learned about scammers, it is that they will put in 100 hours of work to try and steal $20 from a victim before they would get a job that pays $20 per hour.  These people are the lowest of the low and have no problem putting in 100x the amount of work in order to steal from others just to avoid having to do anything worthwhile themselves.  The sad part is most of these scammers do have knowledge that would be useful to many on the internet, but instead of using their knowledge for good and helping educate others, they try to take advantage.  One of those paths has a future with a legitimate job, the other will waste your time your entire life and keep you from finding true success.

I agree with your opinion, scammers have been around for a few years. Four years ago, I also got scammers.  They use the lure mode of the gift. And they act politely to give a good long-term program. So we have to be more careful about short messages that come in via email or other social media.

Apparently, this has been their source of living. As these people grow and know how to scam, they'll keep scamming. It is a big shame for them but I don't know if they still feel that thing or are paranoid about it.

Scamming is the easiest way to collect money from no-how people, from greedy people. As this strategy still working, we can't stop scamming and scammers will continue their doings until they got caught by the authorities. That is why we should have to protect our wallets and don't let these people will control our keys.

Well, its an easy way for scammers to earn by taking advantage other people's weakness and lack of knowledge.

If only we're careful to not click any link or be easily convince of a too good to be true offer, then becoming a victim can be prevented. Thats why if you're aware how scammers make their move, you wont become a victim.

But until there are people who buy their offer and foolish to think its legit then this strategy of scammers wont stop.

Everyone should use a hardware wallet, ledger, trezor, etc. for coins and tokens. I can't understand how someone could store them on an exchange or phone wallet and expect to be safe. Anyone can be scammed if the conditions are right, that's why your attitude must always be NO.

but unfortunately, not many people are aware of this scamming technique, some are taking the bait because of their too-good-to-be-true offers. but anyway, if you check the link provided by the OP, it is already suspended. maybe a  lot of people reported this as phishing website or scam site.
so yeah, if you encounter a phishing website we can always report it to google right away using this link . and hope that no one will make a mistake of sending their funds or using the site so these scammers can steal your keys.

If you receive such mail, make sure you don't follow the link on your wallet or give any permission in order to stay safe from their scam.

of course they won't get tired if they succeeded in scamming some newbies to crypto, keep sharing and alerting people about scams, you probably saved some of them by sharing a simple post, don't trust any random email or person on the internet, people should know by now that emails are a thing that is used so many times bybscammers.

Another scam and hack has happened not only about the rugpull of Squid coin but also in the discord server of Axie Infinity.

The bot was hacked and it has led to misinforming a lot of members to visit a fake website that has taken a lot of Ethereum to the victims. Everyone has to be careful with official websites and don't be too greedy because it may be the cause of being hacked and scammed.

Most of the time, those people who are too quick to judge and follow this information without extending some time to investigate,

are the one who suffered from scammers and hackers who know the best practice to allure holders and investors.

They've been hacked because of putting their guards down. If they gather information first before doing any task, this kind of hack would be avoided.

Be very vigilant and if possible not to follow anything without dealing with good research about the information that being shared, especially if it's been forwarded inside social media channels and not from the actual main website or legit site from the developing team.

Hardware wallets are only superior in terms of asset storage and are also safer, while for other things I think they still have shortcomings, because for those who store assets in any exchange it is also only temporary for the sake of convenience in trading, while storing assets his investment in the long term, it's obvious the choice is a hardware wallet and nothing else.

Still this means one thing , that storing your funds in exchange is the stupidest thing a investors holders will even had , there are so many cases that funds lost in exchange and also hacking is very a vulnerable thing happening in exchanges .
store funds inside exchange for some time while in trading and take out everytime you are done .
this will keep you from not being a victim of this mistake action.

Thanks for the warning, because I can be inattentive or too naive sometimes, but of course when I receive a letter saying I won flat or phone I just ignore it, but in the case of crypto, I participate in a lot of airdrops, so it's not it would be strange for me to receive a letter that I won some coins. We have to be very careful when confirming something in our wallet on strange websites.

Yeah, those that are too happy to see those rewards and giveaways that they think are legitimate. But the fact that they don't conduct some background checking first before proceeding, that makes them vulnerable from all forms of hacks and scams.

A dev has posted on the official discord server said that they'll be refunding those victims.

What happens is that those kind of people are always looking for the next hot thing to hit the market, and this means that if they spend time to think about whether the offer in front of them is true or not then they think they will lose their chance to make a lot of money relatively quickly, so they do not ask questions and they just accept whatever they are told, scammers love this as they can get away with almost anything and this case proves once again this is true.

Scammers could be always ready for having any opportunity which are available to them for having funds from our wallets to their pockets, but now time for having some better ideas and discipline from us for not going to be victim because recently we have some good number of emails and tweets for different air drops and other big profits which catching some good intention of crypto members and other newbies related to different communities.

Never click any random link or never check any email which is giving you some attractive prizes because mostly this give us some very shock as we have this click we are going out of many simple things which are protecting us.

It's true that scammers will always be around and to be honest I think it's pretty much impossible to get rid of that in the cryptocurrency world,
indeed increasingly here they are committing fraud in various ways and we need to be vigilant and careful,

The link below is attached to it disguise to be wallet connect link which will require your confirmation on your wallet to claim the free coin. https://walletsconts.com/claim_token.htm.

They wanted to short things out and quickly respond as they think that the first one to invest mostly takes the better shares.

I'm sure that those who are lazy in dealing with their research are the one who suffered a lot,
They can't blame anyone. It's their mistake being greedy. The only thing to do know is to move forward
and learn things out from these losses.

Maybe they will find other venue to invest their money but the next time they will act accordingly,
talking about people who wanted to learn about this business the right way Smiley

There are no fixed rules that control cryptocurrency, that's why scammers are very difficult to eradicate. Scammers target potential victims in various ways, scammer methods are very fast developing, thus making crypto users have to check, checks up to three times each incoming Email. Phishing attacks are often used by scammers to find their victims, so be careful not to fall victim to them.

It is true that scammers use a variety of tactics to steal crypto users' wallet information. But sometimes scammers lure crypto users to send funds by showing greed for different types of giveaway. As a result, it is sometimes seen that inexperienced people send funds in the way the scammers say. On the other hand, scammers also come up with various strategies to steal the personal information of crypto users. So you should never trust any kind of unfamiliar email.

Most of the victims of scammers are greedy investors who want to get rich quick because they are tempted by large returns. Scammers will never stop to committing crimes in cryptocurrency because it is considered the easiest to carry out their mission. Scammers especially in cryptocurrencies have become a stain that is difficult to remove, they have made some investors lose by not being able to tell the difference between the real and the fraudulent.

Scamming job is not a risky job in the crypto space as we love to be anonymous. Actually, the majority of the project in the space are scams, look at the list in https://coinmarketcap.com/ and tell me at least 50% of all the lists that are legit, I'm sure no one can tell me that as the reality is that only 10% or lower are the total coins/tokens listed in CMC are legit, and legit doesn't mean they'll succeed too, some legit projects are will also fail in the long run.

So what I'm trying to say is that we should be careful in selecting the coin we are investing in as the number of scam projects is significantly high and scammers are just everywhere.

Yes, because the culprit is anonymous. Criminals in cryptocurrency never publish their real identities, they are always looking for new ways to fill their wallets. Unlike the case in the real world, criminals are easy to identify and as a result can go to jail for a long time.

Don't trust a project that has an anonymous team. Before it's good to have this type of background just as satoshi nakamoto. But this time, the scammers are hiding on anonymity to scam people and that's no good for everyone. That's why for new projects, it's highly important that you get to know who are the developers of the project you're about to invest because if not, you have to make sure that you're good and fine with that project and you do it on your will.

The scammers always have a lot of fake data so they can create many projects with different names and different teams, when in reality that person is the one who created them, so it's clear that no one can be trusted for their actions.

Scammers use that as advantage to hide the real intention behind the project, since crypto is evolving it's better to know who are the developers.

Their reputation is very important, giving investors some breathing avoiding possible scam after the coin was being listed inside the market.

Unless you are willing to let got the amount that you will going to risk, supporting anonymous devs are very risky they can easily runaway

without any trace. Think more deeper before you take your actions.  Wink

Actually, this has been implemented by everyone who likes new projects for a long time, but what I am surprised about is that there are still people who are deceived in the end, because whether or not a project is scammed is not only about the visible team, but also very much related to their care for them project and their performance to build the project.

true, but fraudsters can now more subtle ways of carrying out his scamer's mission. For example, now there are still a lot of coin dusting, everyone already understands how to choose tokens, some are even crueler to buy coins on dex but can't resell them, many people don't know how to research from this point of view. project dex now a lot of new dex hanging around but the original is a scamer. if we ever connect with its web dex and transactions. all will lose the contents of the wallet..?

These tricksters will attempt to deceive your feeling, two sorts of feeling, bliss, and trouble. Cheerful in a way that you'll get an email from them like what OP has said. The trickster won't ever be worn out and criminal was an issue that will remain for eternity. These con artists will send more trick email to the email address list that possessed by the tricksters yet I do have an inquisitive outlook on where from the con artist. The con artists were sending it to the a huge number of messages or considerably more.

Therefore, before you invest anything in a project, you must always check it carefully. If the dev team is anonymous this increases the risk tremendously. It is best to invest only in projects where we can check the developers achievements and experience.

Wink
Very important because if you happen to know a few of them and they're reputable then you'll have confidence that the project is in good hands. But if not, and you're just letting you pass by through your luck despite not knowing the developers, you're putting yourself into an unknown situation because you'll never know when the developers will rug pull or abandon the project. This is very common these days and it makes everyone worry with the projects they're investing.

Projects without a public team are a scam in 99% of cases.Because there are no obligations to anyone.I don't understand how people give their funds to such projects, and since now hype on meme coins without a public team, it's all going on, the world is going crazy)

They are likely a scam and that's why many newbies fall to those projects for having no background. Too bad that they get to be introduced to the market by someone who has shilled a random token and they get to believe them. It's noting that these experiences has to be stopped by someone who just came in because it will make them think that the market is like that and there's no hope just because they've fallen to a wrong project and they've been misguided.

Pointless i could say whenever you do try to warn people about avoiding such project/coin because you've seen those red flags but still they do pursue out to invest and believe that this could really be a gold mine for them until things turns out to be real and they've been scammed on which people do normally learn whenever they do experience these kind of unforunate events.

Does it really need for it to happen first before you do learn? Its not really that necessary because you could eventually able to avoid that when you are
sensible towards your actions.

Dont let yourself fall into those FOMO and suggestions came from other people because this is most likely where mistakes do happen.
Make decision on your own so that you wouldnt really be ending up on regretting.

It's not necessary for you to learn the lesson through your own experience because if others are giving a warning, you should take that tip from them.
But if you insist and you think that you're better than them then that's your own will to experience what it's like to learn being scammed since you're still inexperience.

After a scam had been bust up then a new one will eventually bloom on which even experienced ones would potentially be fall still on this method and this would be a continuous thing.
Whenever we are aware on a scam method then another or new ones will be created which it is true that we should really be having that kind of behavior on where we do
tend to hear out others feedbacks or trying to be observant first before making any steps forward specially on investment. Scammers are everywhere
and just waiting for the right timing.

these guys are always trying to get ahead of themselves by trying to bag themselves free cryptocurrencies which they hadnt worked for, and the fact that they know many fall for these airdrops, click baits and all that surrounds free coins many fall into this trap, but with continued dissemination of such information...everyone gets to be aware of such cheap scams and cyber crimes will be slowing down sooner or later.

Scammers take advantage of the fact that bounty hunters are too lazy to check even basic information about the project. If bounty hunters checked a project before starting making tasks for them, I'm sure most of the scams would not have happened.

Nobody will ever give you anything for free. If an offer looks too nice, 99% of it is a scam.
Scammers also very often try to persuade you by informing that this is an opportunity that you can only take advantage of now. The point is that you do not have time to think about it and consult it with someone who could distract you from taking advantage of it.

If you've seen them emailing you. Do not click the email and delete them quickly. There are those websites where we sign up are selling their databases to these scammers. It's either being sold in the dark web or any other marketplaces for the cheap price and these scammers will burst an email to everyone who's in that list. That's why just ignore them and do not be too curious of falling onto their trap because you'll never like what's going to happen if you do so.

I don't know if they still feel that thing or are paranoid! should protect our wallets & don't let these people control our keys.
Those people don't care about others feelings & hardship! They continue scamming consistently and lost themself from their origin individuality. Yeah we Should try to protect our wallets, no matter even if we need to expense some money to buy those ledger, nano wallets and need to be careful from phishing by rechecking links carefully. Alternative mail can be created for free airdrops

I agree that they have no feelings, because they treat it like collecting points in a computer game and the most important thing for them is only to win with the opponent.
The most important thing is not to be greedy and always do your own good research on what we want to invest in. We must not be guided by emotions but a cold reflection of the facts.
