Along with the development of cryptocrancy, there are many things that happen in it, one of which is a scammer, where scammers often occur in bonty and airdrob, I think to avoid this it is better to research carefully whether the bonty and airdrob have an official website or address , if not, don't ever go into it, because it can make you a big loss.
To avoid it, aside from researching carefully is to avoid joining those suspicious bounties and airdrops that might get your attention. Well, about making a big loss as you mention with those. There's no capital that you're investing into both of those but what's worse is that you're wasting your time. Scammers will continue to commit fraud over and over again in the same way as long as there are still victims to deceive. Because today there are still many people who are deceived by joining bounties and airdrops that promise big profits. Even though the reality is that the bounties and airdrops are fake, in the end we just wasted our time being bounty hunters for a few weeks. Therefore, there is no other way, we really have to be careful in choosing the bounty or airdrop that we will participate in, always research in depth. What hurts more is that we as bounty hunters help promote a project that turns out to be a scam. In the end, many investors became victims, by investing in the scam project.

Scammers are at it again sending out bulk mails disguised to be from pancakeswap congratulating you on winning some free ethereum or other coin. The link below is attached to it disguise to be wallet connect link which will require your confirmation on your wallet to claim the free coin. https://walletsconts.com/claim_token.htm. If you receive such mail, make sure you don't follow the link on your wallet or give any permission in order to stay safe from their scam. We should get rid from this tricky tricks of scammers, and guess their desperately undertaking several traps to mislead people and become as preys of their darker intentions. This shouldn't be kept happening, and in order to stop it we should always bare in mind that these suspected links must not be trusted particularly when the sender wasn't in your safe lists. Cryptocurrency involves huge amount of money, so becoming vigilant is our important strategy regarding a serious matter like this.

It takes knowledge to be able to know, if the link we receive is really official or from a fraud. and basically if I get a link to claim free coins, I won't do it. because not necessarily the coins we claim can be traded
What if the coins promised is a legit coin like Bitcoin or ranking coins? then you will get interested lol !! the thing here is never become greedy and also never become Noob . in the status of crypto now , only Stupid account will believe that there will be a freebies because the value of crypto is really increasing . and the main reason why there are emailing happening is that scammers and hackers are going to way in the popularity of crypto so they knew that noob and greed is the best and easy target.

As long as there are people who can be easily deceive and become a victim then expect these scammers to exist forever.
Its their way to get an easy money without exerting too much effort. They're everywhere not only in crypto world thus be extra careful and dont believe easily with the links sent to you by email or any sorts.
Always verify because thats how you can protect yourself for getting victimized by scam.

This is what we must be aware of because scamers are many ways to deceive us so we must be careful not to be easily attracted by the free offers they give, and never give our private keys when doing the steps they apply and for now there are very many victims who feel uneasy with the scamer because they are always targeting prey, Then in the future there must be a special way to eradicate scamers.

Thanks a lot for warning, as I can be inattentive sometimes or too naive, but of course when I receive letters that say that I won flat or phone, I just ignore, but in case with crypto, I participate in many airdrops, so it will not be weird for me to receive a letter that I won some coins. We should be very careful when confirming something in our wallets on strange web-sites.

Never follow anything in email if not notification or maybe code from login (but if we try to login) check the IPs and anything like that. Or maybe click on suspicious promo, although legit maybe i will missed it because always ignore what come to my email except login notification in email or maybe get a code for login and withdrawal, and one important thing is although it is airdrop and look promising, don't ever give our private key or connect our wallet into any site which we don't know exactly if it is legit or maybe prepare wallet that only be used to airdrops to prevent our main wallet connected with scam sites.

It was okay to receive emails confirming your participation to airdrops and asking your wallet address but that becomes strange when they ask your keys too. Even the links send through emails from a person who hasn't expected to send you that it was also weird scenarios coz if that contains malware, it could lead them to make an entry once you have clicked. It was best not to do anything and much better to delete emails from unknown person for a better security.

Scammers were using airdrop as a way to lure the airdrop hunters to get into the trap. I have been seeing that so many times the hunters were getting stolen by the scammers. All of the assets got drained by the scammers. There are a bunch of scammers in the market. I have also got various pms from the scammers on my telegram group, email, and other social media. A trick that has already explained by the thread starter can be categorized as an old trick. some scammers were also trying to use the new trick to lure people into the trao just like pump their own scam coin to the moon to attract the LP providers. Some scammers even spamming the smartcontract. We must always be careful with a thing that too good to be true

this is also a lesson for us, so we can all learn from this. but, as far as I know, you need to know where the messages in your mail are coming from. Currently, phishing sites are very rampant in the name of a company and even the name of a crypto company. you need to re-check the site and others. You also need an updated antivirus. we don't know what kind of scam he will do to you when sending messages. if you let your guard down and upload a private key, or something of value to you, then you fall into the trap. stay alert with the messages you get, even more so on the scam messages in the mail that you use to join the airdrop.

Unfortunately there are too many places that even get SSL certificate for their phishing website as well, I have seen people build exact copy of binance website just to get your information, that is the most hardcore thing that I have ever seen, it is not easy to mimic such a website and it requires a lot of talent, so if that guy was capable of making one to one copy of binance, that means they could have made a website that is profitable as well, maybe idea part could be the hardest part if they had the talent to build but didn't, but I am sure they can find a million ideas on bitcointalk. At the end of the day, I believe that we should be capable of understanding from just putting all the important websites into frequently used on our browsers, and save the links, and for all others all we can do is just to make sure we check the names carefully.

Although it is funny to say, but I don't think scammers will ever get tired because human greed also get hold of some people when they see certain offers or certain promotions, and because scammers knows that, many will allow greed get the best of them, they keep Innovating, changing tactics and so on. I believe that, once you come across a promotion in your mail, of which you know you didn't request for it and also the promotion comes with high rewards with little to no task it is better to delete such mail as some might even come with phishing links to steal or hack your wallet. Also, even when it looks too good to be true, nothing stops the person from checking out with the team of the project first to ascertain such claims, until most people starts taking control of their greed level, most will keep falling for all these scammers. I am always of the opinion, the links you visit frequently like exchanges or web wallet, it is better to bookmark it, and learn the act of only visiting such websites through that bookmark, it saves a lot as well.

Do not waste your time, avoid it and never join them. You have to look elsewhere if you want to join these airdrops and bounties but to tell you that only really a few of them becomes successful.

Sometimes the need for money and the lack of knowledge about crypto investing could really result to getting scams. We need some basic knowledge before we start investing in crypto, we don't only look at the potential to make money but more so the high risk that is always here because it could easily take our dreams with just one mistake. Some people work hard to grow their investment, and then one simple mistake like what you've mentioned, they lose everything and get discouraged from investing again. This could be just a simple mistake but it could cost our entire investment.

The users that are new to the market usually fall for these scams as they think it will be some sort of airdrop . Scammers are finding new ways and you need to be aware of everything that is going on in this market and i recently joined a group to ask some questions about their project and i got over ten direct message claiming it to be projects customer service and they usually impersonates the real admin and if you are new, you will fall for these scams.

So usually, they will open it up and try to check the link. And checking the link itself sometimes will make your computer vulnerable depending on what coding these scammers made. They will never get tired of trying because that's their way of screwing money from naive users.

It's true that not everyone immediately deletes suspicious or unknown emails, some people are always curious about emails that they don't know. Moreover, the email has a interesting title, usually without thinking a few people immediately open the email. And usually there is a link that directs us to a certain website, that's the beginning of some people starting to become victims of scammers. The reason scammers never tire of committing fraud, sometimes using the same method over and over again, that's because there are always people who can be fooled and scammers make a lot of money. So be careful with all the tempting offers that come, we should ignore it, because nowadays there is no free money. To be able to make a lot of money requires hard work and don't dream of getting it instantly.
