Apart from the above mentioned most popular cryptocurrencies this year I picked BNB and SOL as another pair that trended well this year, SOL priced around $1.03 in January however pumped to an ATH to $259 this November that is remarkable growth courtesy of it developers fortunately it investors are in massive profits now, likewise BNB also had tremendous growth based on the growing popularity of BSC and it adoption by some developers while burning some of it tokens by binance also pump it price.

I have to say there will be coins that we all know that will go up, like BTC, ETH, BNB, LTC, ADA and so forth, many of the ones we know. There will be some unknown small that will go up a bit then fall. However what we need to be careful about is the ones that will look like they are going up, but will end up going down. Those are the really risky ones that we should be staying away from as much as we can. Obviously we will fail a bit, as long as it is not all of our money, then trying to risk a small amount would be fine.

I have lost 100 dollars to scam in 2021 for example, not a big amount, still not a tiny amount neither for me, but I was fine with it, risking that much to see if you could earn a decent pay out could be done. But do not do it with too much of your money, the important thing is not to lose money, otherwise you will end up earning with the known ones anyway.

True, SHIB and Doge became amazing coins and be very popular this year. It became a trending topic in some social media, even people who didn't join crypto investment were talking about them as well. Anyway, your friends are lucky can earn from SHIB and Doge. They may buy these coins before they became popular. You don't need to be disappointed because not all people can earn like your friends. If you bought them in the wrong time, you even can lose your money.

Since it is the altcoin section everyone first thinks about an altcoin to name, and that is why they end up saying altcoin stuff and they are sort of right, some did make some leeway and increased a lot. Even though I dislike it a lot, I can't deny that Shiba made a lot of profit for a lot of people during this period. This means that we are talking about something that is dangerously risky but also profitable.

However you are right, even though we are in altcoin section, we could easily say that bitcoin is the most popular, it always has been and it will always stay to be like that forever, it had a huge crash in early 2020 because of pandemic, then before summer it had another huge crash and none of those huge crashes stopped it. I mean 50%+ drops, nothing small, huge BIG crashes that should have hurt it, but it recovered and broke ATH after each of them. So BTC is definitely the right call.
