But Thurman seems to be enjoying his life outside the ring, but who knows, he may want to fight again if he sees himself to be fit again. He is a very good contender to fight with Crawford or Spence and he's only in his early 30's. So the possibility of going back is still high. But talking about Spence Jr, we don't know when will he be allowed to fight again. By the way, he missed his golden opportunity over Pacquiao.
But with this upcoming Crawford-Porter fight, I am placing my bet in the Over/Under line.

And this is so true of Porter, he will really do anything in his power to make the fight ugly and make Crawford uncomfortable here. But it seems the Crawford is prepared on what Porter are going to throw on his way. Not really sure though if he can get a sparring partner with Porter's style, but for sure this is going to be a war.

More likely both of them will exchange powerful punches in the early rounds which will lead to the end fight earlier than expected. Yes, Porter style is like in the 50's or 60's black and white video we've seen. He is not running away from any of his fight and that's what make a Porter fight very exciting to watch.

And even if he is the underdog, he can still pull that surprises, like in the Ugas fight or even in the Danny Garcia fight. Both fights he won by his sheer aggressiveness and pushing it to those guys even if he is being hit.

Though I didn't also looking down to the capability of Porter because his record is also good, maybe he has a loss records but it doesn't mean that he could not give a difficult fight on Crawford however the odds gap favor on Terrence is high. The lower the PPV price the more people can afford to buy, hopefully, they'll be able to sell a good number of PPV so they'll be profitable in this fight. Porter vs Crawford is such a great fight, it will never be boring so it's good if we book a subscription and watch it together with our friends and family.

I'm maybe wrong but Terrence Crawford is not yet a big star in boxing these days that may be the reason why Top Rank decided to make the PPV price a little bit cheaper to attract hardcore boxing fans to buy. The target market for this PPV will be the US and I don't it will reach 500K buys as Crawford is not yet a draw, hope Bob will realize that and let Terrence fight whom he feels could bring him to stardom.

You want stardom for Terence Crawford, however, you want him to fight only against Keith Thurman after building his name from a victory versus Porter hehehe. The next fight should certainly be versus Errol Spence. Crawford and Spence are the kings of boxing’s welterweight division.

Perhaps we should take out Spence out of the equation for now. He is recovering from the eye operation, so for now the best welterweight could be Thurman, although he is not that active and it could back fire on him.

So if Terence Crawford wins here, he can't just call out Spence, and I'm definitely sure he will mention Thurman's name because in his previous interviews, he always believed that Keith is the best welterweight.

Just think about this, doctors are not going to clear Spence to fight if his eye is not fully healed 100%.

They won't simply allow him to box, simply as that. But if the healing process is so fast and that the doctors say no problem whatsoever they he is clear to fight, Crawford or Thurman.

But first we have to see what will be the result of this fight first. There's too much at stake for Crawford here, if he losses then all of his plan as put to drain.

Agreed. A convincing victory with a knockout for Terence Crawford might force Bob Arum to agree for a superfight versus Spence. However, I reckon an unspectacular win with a decision versus Shawn Porter should be adequate to give Crawford the attention and the contract for a superfight.

Based on Crawford's camp statement even before, it's more likely that they will not extend the contract under Bob Arum's Top Rank Promotion. Since then, Crawford didn't have a chance to fight a top boxer and that's their request for a long time. Shawn Porter might be considered as one of the popular names but that's not enough to consider as "top" by Crawford camp "based on my own view".

Surely, we can expect an update about that after their bout - if Crawford wins.
