They even have a replacement in Joseph Agbeko which Butler did not approved though.
I understand the decision, Butler won't be wasting his time and effort to fight a fighter that does not hold the belt, Casimero is his target as he wants to be a champion, so a replacement is bad for him as he also cannot guarantee himself that he can beat Agbeko. As both are patient for this fight to happen, we just have to be patiently waiting as well. Perhaps it was a way to salvage the fight though, I mean Butler has been training for months in preparation for the Casimero fight and when John Riel is not available, they scramble to find a replacement in Agbeko. But it was a good decision on the side of Butler not to take him, now the fight is still on and he has a chance to pull an upset against Casimero, but the chance is slim though.

Agree with you, at least Donaire is a real champion who is not afraid of losing, unlike other fighters who are just making sure they will not lose and because of that they will just choose to fight a fighter that they are certain they can dominate. I know some but I won't mentioned the name as I don't want to hurt the fans feelings, lol.
I will call them the smart champions, preserving their reputations, belt titles and money. While real champions are those you mentioned. Not everyone who is undefeated makes good money in boxing, for example, Crawford, it was reported that his fights are not making money as expected, and that is because of a bad matchup. Mayweather is a good example of a boxer who knows how to market his fight, he is not humble but he is really good, even Pacman did not beat him, in fact, both of them really made a lot of money when they fought, I think that was the biggest fight in boxing who made a lot of money. Mayweather is one of the prime example of who knows how to market the fight well, he even make his own promotions called TMT or The Money Team to make more money out of the fight. And yes, Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather fight was dubbed as the "Fight of the Century" that happened last 2015. That fight alone made a revenue of about $400+ Million, a good money indeed.

Wise decision, instead of rushing for the fight, much better to challenge a title holder and have that chance to hype his name. Who knows if he can easily be beaten? Maybe he got something that will disappoint Casimero we can't judge or conclude it right away. Until the fight happened, doubts for Butler to win against Casimero are really circulating, but everything will be settled after..

It's possible that Casimero will lose, but based on the betting odds, he will likely win this fight as he is a heavy favorite. Butler considers this fight as a big fight that he has to win, so both fighters really want to win as this is their ticket to fight Inoue who is probably waiting for a unification fight.
Yes, he's the favorite of the crowd and that's why odds are obvious on him. But true to that, that, it's still possible for him to lose. It's still unknown whether Casimero wins, Inoue is going to say yes and his team for the match that was once delayed and should be for the both of them. There's no answer yet if he's still interested in fighting him. I would doubt Inoue's team will really say yes, I still have doubts until now because prior to this fight Casimero was already challenging Inoue but they didn't make a final decision, he was just responding but no signing of contract, that's why I have doubt man. you can't blame me. If they will push this through, I still see Casimero to win the fight and that could be a great way for him to challenge Inoue, though for some medical reason this match was postponed right? Hoping that they can finally settle this since Casimero is slowly losing his fans because of the current situation. If its just a pure trash talk, I don’t think Casimero vs Inoue will push through as well, better to sign the contract now. There's no health issue happened and the cancellation of the fight is due to Casimero didn't catch the required weight to make the fight happen so I guess Casimero failed to do his part to make this fight happen that's why maybe its almost impossible for this to be done by them. But if their management will try to fix this then provably they could find ways to continue this match up and if Casimero win then this is his great ticket to challenge Inoue. Casimero was admitted at the American Hospital Dubai because of viral gastritis in just a day before the weigh-in was scheduled. Read here: https://sports.inquirer.net/444309/wbo-issues-show-cause-to-john-riel-casimero-after-weigh-in-no-showThere are some many allegations and speculations appeared like he was faking the hospital issue just to cover that Casimero turned out to be overweight and heavy than the desired weight, and later on will be stripped on his title like what happened to him way back 2014. Either way, yes Casimero failed to do his part and either this fight will happen or not, Casimero should make a statement to clarify the issue to avoid misunderstanding.

It's been cleared already, the fact that the WBO did not strip his title, that clearly tells that his excuse is valid to postpone the fight and give him another opportunity to defend his title. So sad that some people are still speculating despite the fact that the issue are alraedy cleared.

Yeah, we should stop speculating as this fight will happen, it's not canceled but only postponed. Casimero is still the favorite and I think he will still win this fight and the bookies won't be wrong of making him the high favorite to win the fight. It's the first time I saw some people's reaction about doubting Casimero, but I'm sure he will prove that he deserved to be a champion and to have a chance to challenge Inoue in a unification fight.

He still the favorite because he’s a good one but if he fails to have fight Butler again, it can really affect his reputation. A champion never quit, Casimero should come back stronger and be more healthy.

He understands that this kind of opportunity does not happen twice in a row, it's either he will make it to the fight or wait for the WBO to finally strip him of the belt. Butler should not be a threat to him, but it's a mandatory fight for him so he has to take care of it before aiming for a bigger business with a probable unification fight.

If it will happen twice then probably Casimero has to not just give the belt but also retire in boxing as he is not fit anymore. Of course, the WBO will give him ample time to recover, and if within that period he still cannot recover, they'll not wait for a longer period of time and award the belt to the new champion.

It's just sad that he has to suffer some condition that affected the first fight. But he is cleared already so his reputation is not affected by it. But if he wanted to really become the best, he should win and then fight Inoue because he has been chasing him for the longest time.

I hope that this is just for fun to him to be able to enjoy while there's no word yet from Probellum. Casimero, i think needs to have a PR manager to represent him and screen out the words that needs to be released to the press, not raw where there are some misunderstandings that causes chaos and could damage his boxing career.

I haven't follow his vlog though, but I have seen a couple of videos of him but not sure if he is focusing on it or just for fun. Or maybe he is earning good enough money in his youtube vlog. He should follow Pacquiao, Manny has some sort of guys to handle his social media accounts so that it can be filtered out because you know, things might get lost in translation.

I agreed with that, after all, they are professional boxers who are known to be the best in the ring not for some trash talks. If they wanted to change their career, they can always consider going auditioning for a rap battle. Of course, a drama before the fight is somewhat likable by the audiences nowadays but doing it overboard will lost their morality at some point. Maybe they can just try to unleash whatever opinion they have on each other when they finalize their fight.

I find his words funny though, he was trying to speak English but he is not fluent enough, so it can mislead the viewers. But that's him, I think it's effective for him but if he will hire a PR, that would be better as it will improve his communication skills and could convey what he really wants to say.

Is he focused in vlogging right now? Maybe he can manage his time well and he's got schedules to follow. There's no actual schedule yet for his match, right? And as well as he's still in recovery that's why he's just doing what he can do. On his case, since vlogging doesn't really require physical contact, he's good to do it at any time that he wishes.

Though he is a trash-talking champion he still has plenty of followers and being a vlogger, he was able to give an update about himself.

I watched this video and I'm looking for an article if this is true: "Casimero: DUROG yang Butler kahit wala ako ensayo!" translated to " Casimero: Butler is nothing and I dont' even have to train"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=meusBDhO5uYI don't think is something related to marketing the fight but that's how Casimero looks at his mandatory challenger, Butler. Seems he really underestimating the number 1 challenger and 100% confident that he will win without any seriousness lol.

Can't believe it as by now, he should just be taking a rest. There's no news yet stating Casimero is now 100% recovered. Or maybe he doesn't want to undergo a pure focus on training since he doesn't consider Butler a serious threat. Quadro Alas should think of creating a better picture.

Even he has the freedom to do anything on his own blog, he holds a WBO Title and he should act professionally all the time. Let the opponent do the trash talks instead. Butler is so humble and not that arrogant to claim he can beat Casimero. Maybe it's just a dream now to see Casimero will be humble haha.

No worthy milestone if Butler will choose a different boxer as a replacement for Casimero. Casimero is a champion here and the opportunity for Butler to get his title will take longer if he will fight another boxer. As usual, the span of a boxer to do his next fight is around 3 to 4 months. It's a good decision not to go against a replacement boxer but wait for Casimero to fully be ready.
