No doubt that if the fight will happen between Inoue and Casimero, it would be in the 4th Quarter of this year.

But before that, Casimero should win first against Paul Butler. The result of Inoue vs Donaire also might change Casimero's next match if ever he won because the scenario will be, if Donaire will able to upset Inoue, there will be a sure rematch and that will be prioritized first compare facing Casimero.

Definitely, it's a one done deal for Casimero and his camp, if he didn't show up again, he will be strip and lose his chances of a bigger payday against Inoue or any champion in the division. And I would say that he is lucky to be given the second chance, so he shouldn't have any excuses and be professional against Butler.

But usually these injuries and health issues are just labeled as minor problems because their body are built different and often times these issues won't be long. I think you have to watch the recent fights of Nonito Donaire. Maybe you can start from their first match with Naoya Inoue. Or start from the tournament before facing Inoue in the Finals. Watch how he climbed the ladder at that veteran age until beating the prime and young Reymart Gaballo.

John Riel Casimero will get to hold on to the WBO bantamweight title through the holidays.

In a five-page decision, the Puerto Rico-based sanctioning body ruled Thursday that Casimero will not be stripped of his belt after failing to show up for the weigh-in for his mandatory challenge against Paul Butler, which was scheduled for December 11 in Dubai.

Casimero (31-4, 21 knockouts) of Ormoc City, Leyte, Philippines had been hospitalized on December 9, the day before the weigh-in, due to gastritis, with symptoms including vomiting, stomach pain and dehydration.

Casimero’s team, represented by his attorney Steve Pacitti, provided medical documents corroborating their version of events, leading the WBO to grant their request that Casimero not be stripped of the belt he won with a third round knockout of Zolani Tete in November of 2019.

Likely there should be another plan if Casimero failed again to show up. Paul Butler will have an easy path to the championship title and he will ask to defend it right away. Just imagine, Paul Butler will now become one of the options to fight Naoya Inoue or Nonito Donaire. Not unless Naoya will move up weights and that will remain him and Donaire who has the title.

Casimero can join again the party if he will be cleared healthy.

^^ Very very important for Casimero to not have any issues with this fight. And I agree that he has sort it out with hiring a nutritionist that will overlook everything he eat and should be making good meals for him.

So everything is set for him against Butler, only the outcome of the fight is an unknown variables. But for us, Casimero is the favorite and chances are very high that he will win this fight.
