I guess there are people who constantly lose in poker, other gambling games, trading... and in most cases those people don't blame themselves, their ignorance, they blame "the game"!

Well, I can only say one thing, if you really want to play make sure to learn everything you can before you start! That can save you from many troubles!

Well, as they say, the more time that you will spend on the house the more chances you will lose.
But for me --if you gamble just for fun there is nothing to worry about because you can limit yourself in your gambling session not to exceed beyond the limit. It is totally different when you gamble in a poker room than against in the house edge and I think there must an odds there that the chances of winning were controlled by them. And perhaps gambling was design not for earning profit or could be a source of income, it is just pure entertainment, if gambling casinos will always lose, they will perhaps bankrupt their business.

What did you mean by you lose to house? I guess Poker is played on a board with some other players. I haven’t seen poker playing with the house/dealer? I can't remember. Nevertheless, I have some doubts with the players though; I have lost few hands which was worst IMO though sometimes it happens. I mean it was hard to believe that I got unlucky in that few hands & for a moment it all looked like I lost to the dealer LOL.

There are poker casinos that you can play the house, all you have to do is beat the dealer and there is no opponent that you can play.
The same concept of playing with poker that has a real player but you and the house were there and there is no other opponent. Nevertheless, I really like this game because the chances of winning were always there, but beating against the house is a very risky part, you don't know how to bluff a house and I think, fighting against the house is pure of luck and not about the skills.

To be honest, although I'm a big fan of pvp poker, I've never played against the dealer. But from what I saw on YouTube, I think you are right, this game is purely based on luck. It's not that I totally dismiss purely luck based games, no. I love to play slots, dice, crash and other games of this kind, I'm just not attracted to purely luck based poker, that's all.

Btw, I didn't think OP was talking about playing against dealer. I thought he meant that he was winning against other players, but his winnings were somehow eaten by the house in the end.

Of course, the easiest way is to say that smth wrong with everything around but not the player. As for me, i decided lots of years ago - when i go to play, all money that i`m ready to bet - are lost. If i win smth - this is bonus for fun i`ve got, if i lost - ok, i paid for fun. It`s nobody fault that i lost.

Because in pvp poker you can asses their action , their Body language and the facial reaction while in Online Versus Computer ? it is harder to predict and we even lose all the time.
I am also Good in against Player trust me I can beat you , but In online Poker? lol 95% lose and only 5% win rate 
and also why focus in Poker when there are so many games that we can exchange from this.

When I decide to gamble, whatever game (and I play many of them) I am also ready to lose it, and in that way, I am ready to make some crazy final bet if it's come to that point and try to recover and make a profit or to go to zero (happened too many times, and too many times I survived and lost)!

I think it's the right way of gambling, decide how much you can afford to lose and don't hold yourself and be desperate about watching bankroll goes down, that can affect the gameplay in a negative way, that can stop you from pulling the right move in the right moment! Poker is a Mind and Reading game in which best to play in real life that's why I don't really love playing online though since pandemic happens i spend some Money and time playing because of No choice at all.

But now we can play with friends so Yes i stop dealing against Room and enjoying with real People .
