Depends on the magnitude of the problem and who you want to resolve the issue.

Your country probably has a complaint centre for gambling operators, or a gambling ombudsman.

If you want to make a complaint to them you'd have to go through their complaint handling process. On the forum you can create a new scam accusation but that's probably not going to do anything other than add negative trust to the casino operator's account.

If you have any way of answering is question, then fine not trying to be over sensitive. If op has any problem of scam accusation, taking is complains to the appropriate thread will be a good move. Even though he created a thread at the wrong channel, it can always be transferred without any worries.

To be honest it might be a bit of a futile effort to report frauds here, because depending on the amount of shills they have and the popularity of the site - it can go overlooked for quite some time. You are better off trying to determine the country where the site is hosted or trying to find where the parties who benefit are located, then report your concerns directly to the police force of that country. You should definitely alert people via the scam accusation section here, but such scams can continue to run for a long time so it's worth dropping your scam accusation into places like trustadvisor and other review sites to warn people away from the fraudulent activity you see. Looking at it from the other angle, make sure you really are sure the evidence you've collected is valid and you're not simply trying to get revenge because of losing.

It's ok to have a separate thread on the Scam Accusation board. Most DTs are lurking there and watching that board. Of course, OP should open up a scam thread only if there's enough and solid proof that the site is a scam. Don't post there with just accusation without any bearing.

Well the user that you quoted above is on the right track and I think that is not an off-topic per see. We should use a reputed casino to avoid the possible problems just like scamming users. I think you are just the one and posted the redundant answer for the sake of your post count and as you can see, it was suggested above. Why not just add this, Op should compile all evidence and proof OP had because posting in a scam accusation without valid proof is nonsense, there should be strong support of your claim why you called a casino is a scam and that is what I want OP to do.

Just like a member or two have said, you can create your accusation in the scam and accusation section, click Scam and Accusation to head over to that section.

And a bit of advice here, note that creating a scam accusation thread against whatever platform you feel scammed you have almost zero chance of helping you get your money back, and also, it is highly adviced you reach out to the platform customer service first (or who ever is related to the platform that will answer you quick), try your best to resolve whatever issue you have with the platform amicably first, as for example, missing money could be due to some unseen errors on the platform which if brought before the platform owners, can be resolved without raising any dust.

But in the case where all effort to reach the platform owners proved abortive, or they deliberately ignore you, or claim nothing happened when you are very sure something happened which resulted to you loosing your money, or maybe you won a bet which they refuse to pay and claim you didn't win or accused you of fraud when you are very sure you aren't guilty at all, and they refuse to understand, then you are free as the bird of the air to bring the matter to the public by creating a scam accusation against the platform, though you are likely not going to get your money back, but sure your scam accusation if genuine will help others stay clear from such platform in other not fall victim as well, and in return, you will be appreciated.

True, but something is better than nothing basically or prevention is better than cure. These scam accusations against proven scam sites might not help victims, but it could potentially help other gullible members from getting scammed as you mentioned.

However, there are certain sites like 1xbit that continue to lure more and more gullible gamblers despite the rising scam accusations against them based on my research.

We need to come up with better ways to deal with such powerful sites since the current options are ineffective against them.

@OP, please remember, you must try to contact the casino owners or their customer support and try to resolve your issues with them if possible, because there were cases where the accusers did not try to reach the casinos and straight away came up with their problems here. We all are here to help you but you should try to help yourself first and if possible, sort it out with the Casino but if they don't listen to your issues or don't let you withdraw your money or whatever reason you find that can serve as a proof that the accused is actually a scammer, then you can use "Scam Accusations" section of the forum and post a proper format of your complaint there.

If the OP can show compelling evidence that what he is saying is the truth many of those in DT will surely take action if the owners of that casino have an account here in this forum.

I think it's much better If OP finds any scam website then he can make an accusation regarding the website here in the Scam Accusation section, And when people search about the website with the keyword "Website scam" then the post should pop up on the first page of google.

I think there are private review websites but you can't be certain for how long those websites are going last so this forum is the best option.

Based on how the statement was constructed, I think there are no site/s yet that OP wants to report but just looking for ways for possible reporting in the near future. I don't know what's the reason though to ask that right away but not a bad question though as a reference.

And when people search about the website with the keyword "Website scam" then the post should pop up on the first page of google.

There are websites that have a bad reputation here but have a good reputation outside the forum. Google search results can't filter that. Better just refer here to also know the overall pulse of the community regarding a certain gambling site.

Check the do's before posting so that your post wont be deleted in no time. Also, please prepare evidences of your claim to back up what you are going to post. Reports with no valid proofs are considered accusations and we don't want to be labeled as an accuser that causes defamation. Yes but at least we can warn players here about issues on popular casinos so they will take the necessary precautions, some top casinos through their representatives address the issues, and some of them do not care at all, one of these is Bitvest, no one on the Bitvest team goes on the accusation thread to address the issue, not even in their own thread.

As we can see even in this example, the problem is not where to file the accusations, but that people who start gambling do not educate themselves or even verify the casino's trustworthiness. Only when they are scammed they start looking for help. Hopefully, threads like this one will see another new user and it will keep him from losing money.

Honestly the only thing that anyone in this world right now could do is to put scam accusation on the casino you doubt. If there are any proof that you could share, just starting a scam accusation thread on bitcointalk will allow you to let everyone know about the place and that's it. Fraud is not something that bitcointalk really takes care of, it is not our duty to do something about it.

What you can achieve here is to get their name heard as scam if they are really scam and you have proof, but that's it. There is not like some lawyer or some court here that can do anything about the casino, we have to let it be and only avoid gambling there as our only action.

Depends on the magnitude of the problem and who you want to resolve the issue.

Your country probably has a complaint centre for gambling operators, or a gambling ombudsman.

If you want to make a complaint to them you'd have to go through their complaint handling process. On the forum you can create a new scam accusation but that's probably not going to do anything other than add negative trust to the casino operator's account.

Most of crypto sportsbooks are located off shore then I don't think a local complaint centre for gambling operators or a gambling ombudsman can do anything for him unfortunately. Only report on platform like Trustpilot or here can hurt reputation of scammy gambling sites and prevent people from being defrauded by them.

I agree that you need to analyze the sites before gambling many gambling frauds are reported in the forums. Losses due to gambling loss are reported elsewhere in the tax return all the information can be known by checking the sites the risk is higher for newcomers. @OP, please remember, you must try to contact the casino owners or their customer support and try to resolve your issues with them if possible, because there were cases where the accusers did not try to reach the casinos and straight away came up with their problems here. We all are here to help you but you should try to help yourself first and if possible, sort it out with the Casino but if they don't listen to your issues or don't let you withdraw your money or whatever reason you find that can serve as a proof that the accused is actually a scammer, then you can use "Scam Accusations" section of the forum and post a proper format of your complaint there.

^ Because there are some gambling casinos that are good to reason out and their tactic is they are being abused by the accuser and prohibited the TOS which is a very common fact. So, if you accuse a gambling casino, make sure you have valid proof, it could be a photo or much better if that is a short clip video showing your claim that they are wrong and fraudster and you are a victim. Compiling proof is the best step because you accuse them and report on the accusation board using the correct format of reporting. However, I don't understand why there are people helping to promote a well-known scam casino.

Reporting your Encarta with gambling site that defraud you is cool and will help other gamblers to be aware of such gambling site activities. The proverb ‘An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure’ applies perfectly here, it is obvious that when it comes to our entertainment we do not want to go through the trouble of doing our due diligence and check if the casino is legitimate or not.

I don't think the OP should post a scam accusation on the scam accusation board as I think the user has not been scammed. It is just for report to avoid/ban or something about a site for the fraud. I do not think there is any benefit except giving them a negative trust on the forum (if they have an account on the forum).

True indeed. If they want to clear their names then they should solve the issues that their gamblers accused. It is very simple to clear a name for the site as I have said which is to solve the problems or issues and don't have to do it again. Well a gambling casino that has a license will always be afraid to make such fraud activity because they can simply report to the authority and simply they can't operate because the government will stop them from their operation. If that is from an online gambling casino, I think we have a cybercrime detector that help people to solve how they become scammed and those scammers will definitely be punished.
There will be always justice to those who were a victim of the casino and also not all claiming a victim is the real one.
