Ethereum is a coin that has great power so the price will continue to increase, the daily transaction volume is now more than $17 billion and bitcoin is around $29 billion so the difference with bitcoin is getting smaller, making ethereum for long-term investment very worth it because I believe the price can increase by at least 100 % in a year.

Seeing such numbers there is an understanding that we will not earn much here but here there are most chances that we will not be able to get losses at a distance. I don’t think the price will double until the end of the year but over time many will want to have even more ether than they do now.

Well, am an advocate and a pro active user of decentralized exchanges and other defi protocols, and when I consider what the cost is to transact on  Ethereum blockchain, then eth is a no go area for me at this time, even bitcoin that was the highest in transaction fees have become very cheap, but fees on Ethereum keep going higher and higher.

In as much as I believe that of the truth, Ethereum is bullish at the moment (a good time to invest in it), there are still a lot of projects out there that will outperform Ethereum in that same time frame, I wl look out for those and invest in them.

If you wanted to keep ETH for many years, that will be okay but this is not the right time to get started. You'd rather waiting for the price correction and take advantage of buying it for some deductions. Buy Low is a common strategy that the majority are using, I think you have to follow it as well.

It comes to see that ETH is on pumps as it was because Bitcoin did it first. If Bitcoin keeps on the uptrend, no doubts that the entire market will also the same excluded those shitcoins/dead coins.

At the end of the day that is a decision that you need to make on your own, I agree that things are looking as if everything is aligning for ethereum in order to go up in value, so it seems like a good idea to invest in it before it does so, however even when there are good fundamental reasons to be certain that a significant growth is on the cards we must remember that the markets can be irrational, and it could be possible for you to buy ethereum now and instead face some losses, so you need to be prepared in the case something like this happen to you.

Well, many still bought up ETH (when it dip) and placed their bet on ETH 2.0 and the promise of solving all the problems you are talking about on ETH 2.0. So it was really how much trust and hope investors have for ETH to justify buying it. I think your opinion is valid as anyone since there, just 'promise' or betting on something incoming like ETH 2.0 is still risky.

I think that it is always the right time to buy Ethereum. I see it as one of the best options for long-term investments. And it is on a really awesome run in the recent times as it is getting close to going above $4k. If you are a patient person, I would say go for it. Ethereum price has a big potential ahead and I expect it to reach at least $10k in the long run.

We never found the right time about buying potential coins but it was more advantageous and profiting when we do this during the bear season or during price correction and in fact, this has been a usual practice by many. Looking at how much ETH is used right now, I would say that it is hard to agree with you. I mean I agree that it is getting more and more clogged and that is why it is hard to assume that it will do as well as people expect it to do and that is why it is hard for anyone to say that ETH will always be second biggest coin.

I get that things like SOL with so much more fast and cheap transactions could take over as well, who knows? But, Tron has been around for a long time and it didn't had those type of projects and we are in a situation where Tron is lower than even SOL, even though SOL doesn't even have any projects that are decent yet, Tron has been around for a long time. All in all I would say that it is definitely something that I would definitely be wary of. Yes ETH looks like a not ideal blockchain to be this big, there are better alternatives, but yet people do not chose them so what can we say?
