Hello to all.
are there any gamblers who play high limits and always manage to withdraw their winnings from betting crypto sites?
because even reading the A tier I find that often the winnings are not paid and money get blocked and I don't know which one to trust.
Thank you for any advice
heres some history then ill give my advice at the end
betcoin.ag wouldn't pay a jackpot winner, and then announced the guy "agreed" to settle for what ever amount.
ofc he agreed to it, at the very start they where refusing to pay him at all.
they claim it was the fault of the slot provider, which they're still using, and i didn't expect them to pay more then they even have because of something that was the fault of a 3rd party provider.
but they could have covered the legal fees and went after the software provider, which has enough to pay. this guy wasn't betting to win the fraction he got, he was aiming for the prize that was guaranteed, including everyone else prior who where betting at the stakes eligible to hit the jackpot.
And them still using that provider it's like a spit in the face to the guy who settled for a fraction of the payout, just because he was scared of not getting anything at all.
on top of that i reported 2 security flaws to them when i was playing.
one was where players could convert status points to their balance, which was like wagering 0.01btc and cashing out 1btc
they ignored it for like a year, after awhile i tried it just to see if they would let me cashout 0.01btc even after i made them aware of this, and they did, never banned or anything.
they willing kept players funds at risk an entire year.
the 2nd one was where you could change the ids of freeroll tournament tickets, (you would get a freeroll ticket for free every few days) from the giftbox
so instead of redeeming these for a freeroll probably worth 0.1$-0.25$ you could change the id for free entries into the 1m$ gtd tournaments worth like 2650$
they ignored that for months until i wrote WPN. a few months later (they claimed to have sold the site to a different company, and that they would no longer be offering poker) they lost their partnership.
The only sensible reason i could see them ignoring these security issues would be to scam other wpn partners, using their site instead of the secured poker client to join tournaments for free, if they had 5-10staff members grinding and dumping the funds to other skins through shared sngs, they could have easily been making 50k everyday, much more then their site with 50 micro stake players and a few high rollers was generating.
I don't know if they truly sold the site/brand to someone else, but all of the chat agents have the same names they did back then.
and this site betking, has launched 3sites so far, pocketrocketscasino, betking and betking, the first 2 times he scammed on a smaller scale "suddenly closed without returning player funds" last time there was alot of proof and he scammed alot of money, hes still on this site looking for funding for a fourth attempt
The point of these stories (don't use information from btctalk) is that betking might have flagged threads, but hes still free to move around this forum and try to scam people (i'm not complaining, i pref forums this way, with all the accusations it's impossible say who is and isn't trust worthy) noone knows if betcoin is operated by different people or not, it's hard to find old accusation about them on this forum, and their trust rating isn't really bad, on top of that they're spending alot of money of signature campaigns, campaigners can't speak negatively about them, and are often incentivized to talk them up.
it's also hard to find anything on google too if you search betcoin scam reviews or likely any other site reviews, because the number of reviews are so low, most have less then 10reviews, so anyone could easily change the ratings with fake reviews within 10mins
if you google "best btc gambling sites" or "most trusted btc gambling sites" those are all fake too, determined purely by who's offering the highest affiliate commission and best perks.
Notice how everyone or "almost everyone" has replied to you so far, with the same site in the banner below their post (the ones paying them to tell you)trustworthy wise i have always thought bitvest.io was, mainly because when they opened their bankroll was so low and your bet was limited, it would be easy to open a site accepting bets higher then your bankroll, the profits would be alot bigger, the risk of someone busting the casino would be low
and if it happened you could refuse to pay, keep the current profits and reopen under a different name. plus i think they have been running atleast 10years now.
and stake.com/primedice stunna was trustworthy on this forum before these sites even launched, probably the longest running, and theres enough reviews out there to come up with your own opinion. i think these are the only ones where you can spend 5mins on google and be convinced it's safe but maybe they don't offer the games you pref playing. so finally my advise.
1. Quality
if the design looks cheap, i wouldn't deposit alot, it's alot easier to launch a site without putting much in it, for example nitrogen sports, the homepage is okay, but once you're logged in, it's always looked cluttered and cheap to me. i can't say if it's legit or not
but with how long they've been running, id expect them to invest in a upgraded look.
2. Staff
I've been on atleast a dozen sites where chat mods would mute people, not for violating their own tos, but because someone disagreed or questioned them or the site.
even if the sites not a scam i wouldn't want to contribute revenue to someone who could mute or even ban me while i'm following their rules.
I've also played sites that target an english audience, while english isnt there first language, and who don't buy a translator, example the games/rounds section, a owner host some kind of promo, and it ends in confusion, arguments and accusations because the terms wasn't clear from the start.
this is more common then you would think.
3. Bitcointalk
for the same reason i posted above, don't make a decision based off of information from here, if you're wanting to try something new with a 50$ deposit sure, but not high limits
4. Anonymity
in counties like united states, casinos are required to keep a log to prevent wirefraud and to ensure legal accountability, if you're looking for a site that doesn't require personal info, with instant payouts (like most people here prefer) the anonymity is a 2way street, they can always cut bait and run with likely no punishment, so if by high stakes you mean hitting big and cashing out a few million, even trustworthy sites would be tempted to not pay, besides primedice/stake.com that would be breadcrumbs to them and theres already transactions of them paying out 40btc at once.
5. License
I avoid any site advertising they have a Curacao license, a large portion of casinos that turn out to be scams advertise it, usually with a "sticker" on their site. it's the equivalent of food saying it's organic and charging more. as if "organic" means healthier
a Curacao License is like saying "heres our sticker proving we can be trusted" Curaçao has a bad rep for a reason, their standards are the lowest, you don't want a casino with standards this low, id rather play somewhere without a license.
6. Real-money
i'm assuming by high stakes you mean depositing atleast 25,000$ over the course of a few years.
almost all of the billion dollar online "cash" casinos who wouldn't scam you for crumbs, and are widely trusted and regulated, accept crypto deposits now, just save yourself the headache and use them.
