there are no definite demands you have to hold your bitcoins up to a certain time. What you must pay attention to is the planning and the momentum you want.
I am not a good holder of bitcoin assets. As you can see for this year's move, I've been selling and buying bitcoins again in situations that I think are favorable to me. I do it over and over again for profit. and everyone can do it.
The essence of investing is satisfaction from yourself. if you are satisfied with the profits then you can go out. lest you sell with regret.
Felt more people sold their bitcoin with more regret than satisfaction because they didn't find their true nature, their gratification philosophy is very shady things, sometimes they like higher price but then price drop and they choose lower price to sell, this action happens more than once to many people, the belief for holding is always abundant but the deep aspect seems to be as thin as paper and a few sharp nails from the market also hurt them. Listening to the market is misleading many people into thinking they are listening to themselves, need to establish a segregated space to have a more accurate way to sell bitcoin, instead of keeping it indefinitely and without target

^ Is there any success in not selling? If you have idle money, you can leave it for unlimited time, but most traders or investors do not have idle money, they invest in the market for profit. So there is no regret in selling if you reach the target, fixing profit is one of the main issues in trading. Yes, Fud is always bad but Fixing your profit when you will reach your target is ok, it gives the market new momentum and buying opportunities.

Hodl is a long term investment strategy. Hodl is not just holding back, but also has targets to achieve. So when is it time to sell?
The right time to sell is when the target you set has been achieved or you sell only part of it just to take initial capital.
I agree with you. There is no a certain time to sell, it depends on when our target is achieved. If our target is achieved, it is the right time to sell our Bitcoin. Don't need to think so much about how high the Bitcoin price is to increase, it is something difficult to predict. What we must focus on is to determine the Bitcoin price for selling it. Note that set the selling target with a reasonable price to achieve. Don't be too greedy...

No one stops you from selling when you have a need to, or you could also take profit when the price goes up appreciably. However, don't ever sell off all your position and dont forget to bag more when it dips.

everyone knows hold is holding a coin in the long term until when we hold the coin it's all up to us we must have a target at what price we release the coins we hold.
Not only the target, but we also need the discipline to be willing to sell once we see our target, some investors get greedy, instead of selling they hold more because they want to make more profit, as a result, when the price dump they start to panic and even took a loss.

Everyone who has bitcoins can easily sell bitcoins at any time but must suitable with the target price . HODL is an option for long term investment that doesn't mean they can't make money from bitcoins it's just that Bitcoin is a precious gem that is not recommended for quick sale. anyone who has bitcoin will definitely be very profitable because it will be easy to get rich instantly thats why many people HODL bitcoin

Sometimes the target has been determined, but to be able to match the target will have many obstacles. This will depend on the trader's mentality.
most importantly don't do something stupid by selling it when the price starts to crash and panic.
Always use cold money that is not needed in choking times. capital management will be very decisive.

No one stops you from selling when you have a need to, or you could also take profit when the price goes up appreciably. However, don't ever sell off all your position and dont forget to bag more when it dips.
That's the way of selling.

You sell for profits and if you want to buy back, buy it.

And when you're selling and don't have any intention of buying back then just sell your position for a few of it but don't ever sell all that you've got.

Matters on how wise you are on making your actions for your benefit or advantage and this is something that people should really be mindful in regards into their actions.

If you are not well on making decisions then that would surely cost you but if not then you would really be finding this to be profitable.

So its up on someones decisions on when and how they would be selling their assets as long it is on profits then that what matter most.

So I keep hearing HODL, HODL, keep holding and all that. My simple question to everyone is "when is actually the right time to sell Bitcoin or we don't ever sell it"?
How then do we say we have made money from it if we don't sell?

Hold is a good strategy to use to avoid losses when the market price has experienced a significant decline, but then when the market price has recovered usually the holders will sell the asset to take profits or they will continue to hold it for bigger profits if the market price continues to rise higher.

That is a good strategy and I have applied it a couple of times this year during February 2021 when the price was near 60.000 dollars I sold some and bought a new mining rig and during latest bull run in October where I sold some with 62.800 dollars.Of course the larger pie I hold it for at least 100.000 dollars for a Bitcoin but some I usually sell at these high prices. Also do not worry about the price decline during the holiday season right now,it happened the same last year and soon after that Bitcoin boomed to a new all time high,so hopefully we can see the same pattern this year too, only at a much larger scale.

No one holds us from doing every decision that we make and we're all free from doing it. But it's just that there were some wrong timing that we've done in the past and that has taught us a great lesson of being good when to sell.

Matters on how wise you are on making your actions for your benefit or advantage and this is something that people should really be mindful in regards into their actions.

If you are not well on making decisions then that would surely cost you but if not then you would really be finding this to be profitable.

No questions if someone has to sell when it's needed to do.

Absolutely, you idea is right. If we get much profit, we should sell btc or other coin. We take advantages from selling my coins. And waiting, when the value of btc or other coin dump and we can buy tokens. Again we can wait to profit when the value of altcoins are increasing.

There’s no one could answer that but ourselves, no matter if it’s gonna be buying or selling. Our money, our choice. If we are happy with the profits even if it’s just x2, then that’s on us. If we keep HODLing, that’s on us as well. No one can decide but yourself.

The right time to sell your bitcoin depends on your decision only. Nobody is stopping you from selling your bitcoin. The time for selling your bitcoin depends on how much profit you want to make. If you are satisfied with its current price and think you have achieved your target profit, you can sell your bitcoin even today.

This is unpredictable world . No one can say about price going high or low. But I think bitcoin is now moving around 56/57k . And it's a big support . Hope it will not break and going up to its new ATH . All are hoping 70k in the end of the month . So I would suggest you to hold . Because HODL is gold in crypto

It really depends on you when you are going to sell your Bitcoin. If you have bought during 2018, I can tell you that you really made a profit because Bitcoin back then was below 10,000 USD.

In any way, gain is gain. Whether big or small. But I suggest to hold still as Bitcoin will still beat its All-time-high 69,000 USD by the end of this bull run.

Also consider that currently bitcoin is looking a bit bearish .

And that is exactly the reason why it is held. One can just assume that the btc will also rise in the near future. When that happens, no one wants to have eaten a 2k burger. But that could also backfire. If no one pays with btc, it can also be more difficult to adapt. A vicious circle you can say
